I live in a tiny house i built that's 11 1/2' x 15 1/2'. I have a small bedroom, a bathroom with a tub, a kitchen and a living room. Everything i need and I absolutely love it! They're building these 10x15?! Alot can be done in that small tiny home!!!!!😊

I lived in them for one year and I feel very blessed when i walk into my 8x12 and snow on the ground very cosy home. They can add on later down the road. We insisted she get a propane furnace. Theyd only had wood stoves since 1930s. She insisted she keep one Woodstove in case that modern furnace failed. We laughed, gave in. But darn if she wasnt right. Mid January furnace quit. Due to winters in Antrim county Michigan,,took 2 weeks to get to her, get parts, fix tye furnace. But the wood stove ,her shed full of wood ,,she was fine,lol. Classic #ToldYaSo from my amazing Hillbilly Mother.

After Hurricane Helene hit us in Florida haven’t gotten help yet from FEMA! Still living in a hotel! Our small town has only had donations from people and those who have donated their time to help clean up and rebuild. A lot of us don’t have any help and are still living in hotel’s or with family or friends. Makes no sense they pay for Hotel but nothing to help fix or rebuild your home. Took a month to get Hotel accommodation.

Are these approved by the county? I watched a video where a county is not allowing people to live in these types of emergency shelters because they weren’t inspected. Don’t remember the county, but a search showed a FB post by Mitchell County in North Carolina stating emergency housing has to comply with local laws.
And the governor of North Carolina is forcing these people out of these houses, saying they are not to code and in a flood zone! Call the governor and building code office in NC in support of these poor family!🙏❤️

Why do you say "Finally"? Lots of folks have been helping since September. I live over 4 hours away, & it seems like half the churches in my town started collecting donations of survival supplies & needed items early on, and trucking them out to the victims. Samaritan's Purse (big Christian charity) had helpers, supplies, & equipment on location and were diligently working before government even began to respond. Most Christians who help do so quietly, without going out of their way to seek praise for it (Matthew 6:2). As for the ones who aren't able to help in tangible ways, the sincere prayers of the folks in the comments section are valuable, too.

I saw a video that said tiny homes are fine if they are built to code. They require a certain size wood for the floors, walls and rafters in order to be occupied by humans. If an inspector deems your cabin not built to code, you cannot live there.

OK! This is great. Have a ? though. Could someone use lumber from all the downed timber to build something similar on site? What I'm suggesting is the use of a portable saw mills. Don't want to here about needing the lumber to dry. There houses over a 100yrs. old that dryed after being built. Codes are out the window cause there's not much government assistance seemingly around. Get people out of the cold! That's what I'm thinking.
So... I've put the comment quite a few times on at least a hundred different videos how about a heating system that's almost free very cheap very simple very effective. I have not been able to get anybody to respond to me or get any more information I will say this!!! Propane heat is going to kill some of those people. The water will freeze the zipper shut and you cannot open them... You will break them or wait until it warms up... The biggest problem is that burning propane inside a small structure in play some putting off massive amounts of water vapor, it also uses up all the oxygen in the tent or tiny home, because it puts off carbon dioxide. When there is no oxygen in the shed or tent, you don't wake up. A lot of people will not be freezing to death they'll dying of oxygen deprivation.
I grew up in Denver Colorado. Both of the papers what time do when a punting or camping and I never woke up when they went to sleep because I didn't have any Oxygen in their tent or camper trailer. There were also explosions and fires every year.... Intense and trailers.

Ive heard officials making move out of the tiny homes because they dont pass inspection tell me how does a tent pass inspection

Another channel brought out that buildings have to have septic systems and they aren't allowing new septic systems on any property that got flooded.

I will say this!!! Propane heat is going to kill some of those people. The water will freeze the zipper shut and you cannot open them... You will break them or wait until it warms up...
The biggest problem is that burning propane inside a small structure in play some putting off massive amounts of water vapor, it also uses up all the oxygen in the tent or tiny home, because it puts off carbon dioxide.
When there is no oxygen in the shed or tent, you don't wake up. A lot of people will not be freezing to death they'll dying of oxygen deprivation.
I grew up in Denver Colorado.
Both of the papers what time do when a punting or camping and I never woke up when they went to sleep because I didn't have any Oxygen in their tent or camper trailer.
There were also explosions and fires every year....
