This is an interesting idea. I have, for a while, toyed with the concept that Naruto could have a brother. I mean, he is Asura’s reincarnation. So at some point in the past, he had a twin brother. He is also descended from the Sage of Six Paths who himself had a twin brother. So that is something I wish to toy with today. What if Naruto had a twin brother? Considering the Indra and Asura reference I made above, can you guess who I’m going to choose? I wonder how, or even if, this will change their course in life? Will the curse of hatred still take hold? Or will Sasuke and Naruto break free? I suppose there is only one way to figure this out.

He is an alternate universe Naruto *HOWEVER* as a twin he would be an evil opposite to Naruto where instead of Minato Menma gets the other half of Kurama sealed in him and he in opposition to Naruto would embrace Kurama's hatred and be molded by it gaining evil Kurama's favor instantly granting him more power than Naruto had at the time.
Using a half of Kurama to revive the other half about Buraon mode was genius. Now it's a less risky use so long as only one uses it, and the other is around.

Since Kurama's Chakra still exists in Sasuke it return back to Sasuke making a complete Kurama instead of just dying like in the original. Sasuke instead of splitting A half of Kurama into quarters could simply split it back into half making Naruto as powerful as he originally was.
Kushina deserved another kid (with Pale skin and red hair). She even looked like she was having twins
This version would've required alot of plot armour for the two considering Sasuke's rinnegan swap jutsu did save the series multiple times
Maybe... I feel like it wouldnt be a stretch to assume that this could be subbed for the nine tails speed amp. Naruto's speed feats were comparable with Minato's who ofc teleported as well.

personally I think there was a huge part you forgot or left out when it comes to their training, the only naruto had trouble with chakra control is because he has kurama in him, and the only reason sasuke was such a prodigy is because he was of uchiha decent who are naturally all prodigies in basic chakra control, so I think it would be fair enough to say they both would have trouble with chakra control no?

@@Speb101 Naruto is the reincarnation of the older brother that had to work hard to gain his strength, Sauske is the reincarnation of Indra who was a natural genius. Reincarnation > bloodline though both would play a part.

This is by far my favorite story yet and I can't imagine watching sasuke would look like in KCM
Man I liked Naruto and Sasuke being twins. But imagine if Naruto had a separate twin, and Sasuke was still an Uchiha. An identical twin, with the only difference being his bright red hair. Sasuke isn’t the reincarnation in this story, but Menma is. We have a parallel story. Menma likes Sasuke and gets along with him.

*What if Orochimaru didn't become a missing nin?*
This scenario is most interesting because this way, he'll become Naruto's godfather. Tsunade never came back home and Jiraiya is always busy, so with Orochimaru being the only Sannin left in the village, Naruto's custody would fall onto him.
I envisioned it going like this:
Orochimaru relented to Hiruzen's wishes and decided to scrap _most_ of his experiments in favour of being able to stay in the village, and probably look after Anko and undo the mess he made. Basically he became Boruto era Orochimaru but much much earlier, and gained appreciation to natural progress. He'd still has that interest of immortality though, so when the Uchiha Massacre happened, he'd be stocking on sharingans himself to research on the Izanagi, probably coming up with something like Danzo's sharingan arm but much slower due to that little thing called "ethical experiments" forced upon him by Hiruzen. Considering he had a more imaginative and scientific-oriented mind age than Danzo, he would probably be able to utilize the Izanagi to revert a lot of his age back, instead of just combat respawn like Danzo did. Once Naruto fell onto his lap, he'd definitely experiment on the Kyuubi chakra, probably encouraging Naruto to talk to Kurama, and very early on identified that the Kurama inside Naruto is missing a lot of its Yin chakra. With Hiruzen hovering over his shoulders, he won't be doing anything too crazy, but I'd bet he'll train Naruto a lot by sheer spite against the villagers looking down on the kid. One thing to note is Naruto would probably be much more scientifically minded, and would probably inherit Orochimaru's androgynous tendencies.

Honestly this scenario doesn’t really work as Naruto suffered in the Academy bc of Kurama, but with the other half he shouldn’t have the same issues. Sasuke on the other hand should have been the one to struggled.

The main plot hole I see is the curse mark. If I understand it correctly Orochimaru continues to exist through it. Without Itachi to remove it, Sasuke would constantly be under threat of losing his will due to this right? Maybe Kurama could offset this for plot, I'm not sure.

I'm curious if you even could use Baryon with only half just because of the side effects. With only half, you'd probably get less power as well as half the amount of time to use it. So could Naruto last long enough in the form to have the same efficiency as he does with the whole Kurama but with just half?

It was more of an ultimatum tho, since his clan was becoming corrupt so it still is possible. It just might not have been him alone and instead prolly would’ve had a war where itachi sided against his clan

The Uchiha plot would also be exposed and Itachi would likely stay as a hero as he doesn't have to make a deal with Obito to leave his brother out of things.

My problem with this is why would they named their other son Sasuke since wouldn't that be Mikoto son's name and where did the black hair come from shouldn't it be red at least and how did Naruto fail but his brother pass since they both have the same chakra Reserves
1: Sasuke was named after Sasuke Sarutobi in the original story, I don't see why the same couldn't be done here. Plus its just a name
2: I was thinking maybe Sasuke's hair could be Kushina red as well but its a "what if" alternate universe. If this was canon the hair would probably match Minato or Kushina.
3: Chakra reserves doesn't have much to do in this scenario, I mean Naruto had MORE in the original story but still barely passed, simply because Sasuke was the smart one. Twins can have different personalities.

What if Karin grew up alongside Naruto?
If Naruto had a twin, I would call him Kaminato or Rinto Uzumaki. He would take after Minato's prodigious nature. Also, for as many times as he is offered to graduate from the academy, he would pass up on that offer plenty of times just to help Naruto. He could ask Sakura to help him and Sakura might say yes. Rinto would then be able to learn some chakra control techniques that could help him be of help to Naruto. While he may have less of that Uzumaki chakra, he would have powerful chakra, thus, Minato's reserves. He could also race Naruto, even encouraging Naruto to feel the chakra in all areas of his body. This could lead to a rivalry between the two brothers. While one might not be the reincarnate of Ashura, he would pick up on chakra at the soles of the feet well. He might have some of the Uzumaki chakra reserves, but not as much. I would put his power level to be relative to Sasuke's. Naruto might fail in using the clone jutsu at 10, so Rinto passes up on the exams despite getting the higher scores. If events played similar, Naruto might finally graduate with Shadow Clone technique.

Why would Orochimaru go after Kurama? There's likely well documented information about Kushina's abilities since she was a konoha jonin and none of them would be kekkei genkai aside form adamantine chains so he'd likely target another tailed beast.
