Hi Rae I agree this is not a one and done mousse for a wng. Your hair looked great on day one because it was defined and fluffy but most of us want and need our wng’s to last more than 3 days. Thanks for your review and taking one for the Sun Rae’s Team ❤
Hello! I agree that this mousse worked better with your twist out. It seems to be pretty moisturizing as opposed to drying however. If it had just a little more defining capability for tighter textures and hold it may be a better product for wash and gos. Thanks for sharing!
I am so terrified to do a mousse only wash n go lol. I don't know why. Every time I watch you do one, I think to myself that I should try it lol. I thought your day 1 results were really pretty but I 100% understand about the hold. This would be good if you needed something quick and easy for an event or something the following day. I'll have to keep that in mind.
Rae thank you for this review 🥰💙..so I tried this for my twist out & 4th day hair really soft but moisture is pretty much gone 🤣.. I’m definitely going to try again for a twist out but will use a leave in to see if that’s a little better .. my day one and two hair was really cute 💙.. and will try for a wash n go with a leave in as well 🤞🏾.. thanks Rae 🥰
Glad you tried it. Not surprised your moisture was gone by day 4, that's pretty normal for most people. Of course, there are always exceptions to the rule. Since I don't need my twist outs to last 7 days, having moisture up to day 4 or 5 is perfect for me. I hope it works out better for you with a leave-in. Thanks for tuning in.
Hi RaeRae I think your hair turned out cute. I have experience the same results trying a mousse only wash n go. It was a soft hold, more defined underneath and less defined on top. Do you think the direct heat from the dryer hitting the top of the head is the reason the top is less defined with a bit of frizz? I mean it's not like we put less gel on top.
Thanks. I think the top of the head takes a lot from our every day lives, i.e sun, rain, wind, hair dryer, hats, putting shirts on and off, etc. I don't thing there is any way around not having the crown be the frizziest and most damaged part of our hair. That's just my opinion, though. I'm sure there are exceptions to the rule. Thanks for tuning in.
I have not tried a gel with this mousse, so I am not sure. I would probably try an Eco or the Aunt Jackie's Glossy Gel, but my hair can take thicker gels. I don't know what your hair likes. If you like lighter gels, maybe the CR Curl Maker would work with it.🤷🏾♀️ If you find a gel you like with it, make sure you come back and let me know which one it is.😂 Thanks for tuning in.
This is pretty much my same experience. I got 2 *good* days out of it. Loved the application and how my hair felt and initially looked. But yeah... zero hold. Once I tried The Doux honey foam, I switched. LOL. I had bought a bunch of the Camille Rose after I first used it... I had decided to do as you mentioned and use it with a strong hold gel but then I tried Crazy Sexy Curl and was like welp this is getting returned. Lol. Nown CSC is my staple.
Very different result from what I get. At least you tried.🤣 One similar thing is that it didn't dry your hair out. Gotta love the differences in how products react on different heads of hair. Maybe my whole head of hair is more like the back of yours, idk.🤷♀
Thank you for trying but it looks like a no for me. Your twist out looked nice but for a wash and go you had much better results with other mousses imo.

Yep, I think a gel with it would work out a lot better. Thanks for watching

Agreed!
This is my go to product in The summer when i need my hair to air dry quickly and i want a wash n go with volume to add shine i scrunch in oil.
Thanks for sharing💛
I agree 😅 I haven’t tried mine yet. I’m probably going to use a gel on top😂😂
Probably the best thing to do.

Yeah, day 1 was great, but I would definitely have to top with a gel if I do it again. Thanks for tuning in.

This is my holy grail
My hair love this mousse
Do you use a leave-in with it?
Yes I use it with Camille Rose Honey Whip
Your hair looks nice. I love that mousse for twists, but it's a no for a wash and go. I might get 2 good days. I just twist my hair on day 3.
Thank you! I prefer it for a twist out, too. Thanks for tuning in.
Have you ever tried curls blueberry bliss curl control jelly as a wash and go?
I plan on doing that soon.
Day 1 was perfect!
Thank you

Love it still! ❤
Now which gel do you think would pair well with this mousse?🧐 Thanks for the review ❤❤❤

@NaturalRaeRae thanks for the reply! Will do! LOL🤣💗😊❤️

I've heard a lot of good things about Crazy Sexy Curl. I will be trying that in the future. Thanks for tuning in.
I was a little shocked that you didn't mention the fragrance!! It is SO pungent! 👃 The smell lasts longer than the hold!! 😅
It didn't linger that much with my wash and go, but I did mention that it wasn't my favorite in my twist out video.
I use it combines with the Big Poppa.

You definitely have to use a gel. That's how I do my wash n go's and it last a week.
Thanks for sharing
This is not a 1 and done to me. You need a gel.
Depending on how long you’d like your hair to last. I’ve used it as a one and done to get me thru an extended weekend, with no issues 😉
I know you and I know you prefer some kind of hold. I knew you’d shampoo again soon.
Yep😂 hope all is well

It definitely didn't dry my hair out so I was very happy about that. Thanks for tuning in.

Yes I agree
