I am looking for suggestions. I have many scarves that have not been selling and am wanting to turn them into scrunchies. The fabrics are delicate and see-through. unravel very easily. How would you stitch this type of fabric? Thank you for your time and I appreciate the advice I have been gleaning from your videos. You have done so well for yourself.

Can I ask why you don’t iron the fabric before and after? Genuinely curious because everyone on TH-cam says to iron!
Hey! They are never wrinkly enough unless I’ve stored them badly! If I have stored them the wrong way and it’s crinkled I will iron but I rarely have to 😌
I have seen a couple of videos where they say they dont iron the material because looks better that way since its a scrunchie. :D

It’s a very big store that sells fabrics on rolls such as dress and furnishings fabrics, they also have a massive craft section, homewares, bedding and even party!
@@TaylahRose Can you do a spotlight shopping video? Like a follow you shopping trip? (Could be a time lapse vid) I absolutely love fabrics but we're so limited in the UK with where we can actually go to see and feel them 😫 I've been buying mine online and it's not the same (I make key fobs)

Hello how wide should the peices be and what the elastic measurement
Hi there! New to making scrunchies & I'm so inspired by your style. I'm curious though as it seems you don't back stitch, & your scrunchies seem fine. What is it that give it the strong hold? Is it the final stitch or maybe the sewing machine you have? (Genuinely curious & would love to be able to make scrunchies as fast as you!)
Hey! I stitch the final part using 0-1mm stitch which doesn’t come undone 😌

Hi, can you please explain what the difference between the thinner elastic to the wider? Ty 😊
wider elastic generally is much denser and not as stretchy which creates a firmer hold and needs less wraps around the hair compared to thinner elastic that is usually quite stretchy 🥰
