      Honestly working with models that aren't judging you all day is a very underrated part of working in 3d.

    hey Arvid..great walkthrough...but how would you setup curling on the finer clumps when going from fine to big clumping setup like you have now...
    wouldn't it be easier to setup the big clumps first to get the curling working?

    Hey Arvid! I was wondering how to setup colormattes with arnolds GPU rendering. Doesn't seem to work for me. It just spills the color id from the object to nearby objects. All works fine with CPU rend.

    Hey is it possible that in katana you can code your rendering lighting and lookdev the binary way?

    • @arvidurs
      @arvidurs  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      if it's a question, the answer is it's up to the artist to make it real not the software

    • @prashantverma9628
      @prashantverma9628 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      are you kidding me, some of the most insane hair works I have seen are from xgen. It's just because xgen is more user friendly than houdini. Although as Arvid said, it depends on artist not software. There is a famous houdini cat hair tutorial which is quite insane as well.
