A good friend of mine from college is from the area of Atlanta he’s from or lives/lived at one time…I’m not sure of the exact details of timing and place-there are about 427-ish smaller communities that run together all around that city. For the most part, they are often just referred to as “Atlanta”…*outside* of the area/city. FYI: God freaking forbid you refer to Marietta as “Atlanta” instead of it’s “Christian” name or part of “The Perimeter.” If you go there and do, you’ll get a 10-15 minute lecture on how it, and the other 426 communities, are similar and different, sometimes with a very complicated Venn Diagram, from a complete stranger at Old Navy) Anyhow, I digress, (You might be ADHD IF…) my friend says he is one of the nicest humans you’ll meet. As my friend is one of the nicest humans you’d meet, I trust his assessment of Mr. Foxworthy. (Edited due to Autocorrect hating me…and ADHD).

Ms. Bialik, if you read these comments I want you to know that 1), I’ve never seen a woman with a pinkie toe that wasn’t significantly different from the rest (myself included), so you are NOT alone, and 2), this was one of my favorite episodes that I have heard so far-and you have set the bar VERY high. Thank you for this!
What a sweet man! When he talked about the love for his grandchildren, it brought me to tears because my dad only got to be a grandpa for a year and 8 months, he died at 64 and it breaks my heart so much that he doesn't get to see my nieces grow up. I appreciate him saying that laughter won't solve our problems but it's so helpful to have a relief! Another awesome podcast, Mayim and Jonathan!
Mayim, I love your huge, compassionate heart & your willingness to have people from so many different backgrounds on your podcast. I love how how your curiosity drives your questions, & even when there can be so many obvious differences between people, there are so many more things that bring them together. This is was a beautiful, wholesome, healing episode, & I appreciate how you & Jonathan are so 1) gifted & 2) willing to use those gifts in this way. Well done, good & faithful servants. ❤❤❤
I rarely listen to entire podcasts. This one was by far one of the best I've ever heard, so I tuned in until it was finished. It felt like a very real conversation that was insightful, introspective, honest and humble amongst all the participants. I felt like we really got a glimpse into Jeff Foxworthy, the man, not just the performer. Thank you to Mayim, Jonathan, Jeff & all the staff that made this podcast happen.
Jeff foxworthy has been loved so dearly by my family and myself for so many years. We watched so much of his material for so long. Seeing him here and my absolute favorite podcasts and hearing him talk about his family and his life and his perspective is just a gift and I am going to rewatch this video a million times. Thank you very much ❤❤❤❤
How wonderful to see his artwork and listen to this conversation. I think that comedians are really observant about people and things that you experience in life, and they are so good at drawing comparisons to describe something. I think this level of observation in the world for both comedy and visual creativity is awesome.
I am so excited for this interview. I absolutely adore Jeff. His comedy has been playing in my house for decades. He's just all around wholesome and hilarious guy.❤❤❤😂
Brilliant. Jeff described me perfectly with the wavy line. I too felt different as young as seven; I couldn't understand the straight walkers either. I'd wonder why they followed blindly when the direction they were headed looked wrong or boring. I am a retired teacher and writer. I have yet to publish, but I follow the dream. I'm on my 6th book, and I won't give up. Thanks to all 3 of you and Cheers! PS Art is always worth doing no matter what form it takes. PSS When I was poor and in college, I had a TV that didn't work with another TV sitting on top. I was more a hippie, but we sometimes managed to look like red necks.
I enjoyed this session with Jeff Foxworthy, Mayim. Thank you for allowing him to relax and open up about his family. Nice to know that there are positive dysfunctional families who use comedy to cope.
Absolutely! In fact my husband had a similar experience to Jeff's wife. When he was first integrating in to my family, he would take things very personally or would be so quiet because he was always in his head processing. Then one Easter my husband noticed my Dad had made no jokes or gestures to the boyfriend my sister had brought and he turned to me and whispered "oooohh, I get it. Your Dad doesn't like him. He hasn't razzed him at all". This by no means makes this family culture right, but it is how the dynamic works in our family. Now, my husband gives it right back to them all but in his kind way.
What a great time today! Jeff Foxworthy is just over a decade younger that my Dad would be, if he were still with us and I see so many similarities in his mindset to my father (and myself). Thank you, Mayim and Jonathan for giving us a glimpse of an unsung hero who has brought laughter and memes (before they were called memes) to so very many of us. I was in my mid-to-late teens when "You Could Be A Redneck If..." breezed into so many livingrooms, on greeting cards, and into the vocabulary of "everyone", so I feel blessed to have had his version of comedy for the majority of my life.
Luv Jeff Foxworthy and the Blue Collar comedy tour! What a balanced level headed guy? Certainly a treasure and great example about living life for all of us. TY for having him on this podcast. 💕💕🌞🌞☮️🌈🙏
26:32 Ohhh, as a Christian, that statement SO resonates with me as someone on the autism spectrum. It is a joy to realize I am the way I am because God made me this way and loves me this way!
AWESOME interview you two !! Also, I too have my left pinkie toe letting me know that I wore gorgeous tight shoes in the 80's & 90's..... no more tho.... Free the pinkie toes :)
He's been awesome for years!! As a comedian myself I've studied his style. He's SO great!! And he's correct! Comedy is often a salve in tense situations. ❤ Thanks for this episode! 😊
I think it meant "the information" or "the true facts" before it was used in a different context. Such as, "what's the scoop scopp?" Or "what's the dope?"
Absolutely love this man! This is the second interview Ive seen in a week, I watched him on Steve Rinellas Meateater podcast two days ago and it just wasn't long enough. I could sit and listen to Jeff for hours, to me he is the shining example of what the American Dream is supposed to be, work hard, do what you love, stay humble, and live the best life possible!
Thanks Mayim and Johnathon for having Jeff on….he is and has always been a hoot! My husband Dennis and I listened tonight during dinner and loved it! I was pleasantly surprised to hear how much he has done and the drawings were amazing! Now I am going out and looking for his games. Well done Jeff! Well done!
This is such a wonderful episode. - Thank you all so much. - His church story is so important for self acceptance; and the part about if you want to have a full life, you need to have a few "hold your nose and jump" moments... That made me cry.... With age and experience, I've become afraid to jump anymore and need to rekindle "having faith" that things will be okay and maybe even great. ❤❤❤ 25:40 Read the book called "STILL RIGHT HERE," by Suzanne Geismann❤ Also Betty Eadie's book called Embraced by the Light.
Enjoyed this tremendously. Haven’t heard Jeff Foxworthy for probably 20 years. Glad he’s not on “the dope.” 😄😄. I ‘m 66 and also didn’t know anyone else who’s parents were divorced. Anyway, this was delightful. Thanks!!
After a week out of the line bc my ski holidays, watching this hilarious episode was just what I needed to begin my regular working day. Even more to me, that as an European, didn’t know Jeff, his humor sense, humbliness and articulated self before. And watching at the end Mayim’s embarrasment to ask him that question was simply delightful! Thanks again!
This episode was sooo funny. Mr. Foxworthy seems to really appreciate the little things. A great feature, I think🤍 I didn't know him before. Most of the time I have no idea who the people you are talking to are but everyone brings a wonderful wealth of knowledge😍
You could tell by his interest in showing his drawings to you that he genuinely appreciated you and what you think matters. Such a down to earth guy. Great podcast. Thanks!
I think Breakdown having a focus on mental health, allows people to enter a more introspective space where they take a moment to think about their own story and how it has developed over time. I love how vulnerable people are with Mayim and Jonathan. I would love to see his comics. What a talent. He literally has it overflowing. I would also love to see a Jeff Foxworthy and Mayim Bialik collab. That would be interesting. Also...a nice generous toe box in your shoe important.
I hope you read this. At the end of the, when you were saying that Jonathan has to always release pressure, it made me think of a conversation I had with my wife. She said all men can’t help themselves, they always have to say the joke. I think it’s part of the thing we’re taught about being the backbone, the strength of the family, so we tend to bottle our emotions and it comes out as comedy. 🎭
I love the variety of people I have seen on this podcast. And how openly they speak with you two. I think there is something new for me to learn every time I watch, no matter how much I thought I knew about the person or the subject matter. An absolute joy to watch every time. Thank you.
Thank you for interviewing Jeff Foxworthy. I always enjoy your show. We have enjoyed his comedy for decades. We're boomers too. I learned so much about him that I never knew. Please contact him about sharing his art. I have been an artist all my life and would love to see more of his work.
This was soooooo great!! I'm so glad I watched! Jeff Foxworthy is AWESOME!! A truly kind, genuine, humble soul who taught us all about humility! Mayim and Jonathon did a great job as always!!!!❤ It made me laugh several times and I'm grateful for that! 🤗
Great episode. Love the authenticity of Jeff Foxworthy. You two get so much of my love and respect with your interviews. I see and love how you can interview people who are different than you. Your respect was amazing in letting him speak. You never talked over him. You really listened. Btw. You both are glowing. ❤❤❤❤
Thanks for such a wonderful interview with Jeff! You have many great interviews and I love your podcast but, I think this has to be my favorite interview you have done so far!
The first time I ever heard Jeff I was visiting my cousin in Tennessee. We were in her car and she put his cassette on and said you have got to hear this, he's one of the funniest comedians I've ever heard. Well he is hysterical, but there was one routine he did that got me worried. He was talking about how, once he started making big money, he decided to take his relatives on a vacation to Hawaii and put them up in a really nice hotel. He said how they did their laundry in the bathroom sink and hung it on the balcony railing. When it was time to leave they packed the hotel towels and the ash trays in their suitcases. Plus some other things. My big concern was, it sounded just like my family and if he kept talking I was going to find out I was related to him. One of the first family weddings I went to, late 1950's, the reception was held in VFW Hall and everythingwas fine. But one of the last family weddings, late 1960's, the reception was held at the bride's family country club. 2 of my Aunt's picked the table clean. One of them took the flower centerpiece and I swear if she could have got it in her purse she would have. They put ash trays, little decorative plates and anything that wasn't nailed down went into their humongous purses.
Agreed.🎉 Today I was the only female at a local firearms dealer with my husband of nearly five years now and there was a gallon-sized jug of three-digited ball powder on a shelf. So, 😂 since we are seniors now. I said Honey, would you like to powder your balls?" Just the convenience of that nasty was goofy enough for me.
We were at my Brother and SIL's golf club for dinner for a special occasion in their family and our whole family was there. My SIL had the misfortune of sitting between my brother and I. It was loud enough in this dining room that you could only hear the person next to you and no further. Finally my SIL said to me, I picked the wrong seat, you two are making me laugh so hard, I haven't even been able to take a bite of my dinner. I could not hear him and he could not hear me. We both have a very dry sense of humor passed down from our Grandparents' families, so anyone at the table could not really even see our lips moving or our facial expression change so it did not look as though we were saying anything funny. We looked serious. My SIL looked like she had a little too much wine because she was sitting between her husband (my Brother) and me (her SIL) who were not even cracking a hint of a smile. Her family is pretty serious so they had no idea what had come over her.
This was such a great interview. And you guys were brilliant. The toenails that will break normal clippers was awesome. Keep the therapy of laughter coming with your good energy.
I LOVED this interview. 💗 Midway, I paused the video and went and watched Jeff on the Johnny Carson show. It was from 1991. WOW... was that ever funny. !!!! Jeff and I were both born in 1958, so I can relate on that level....... Now I am off to learn about ...... Enneagram and Parenting ??? What in the world is that. Love you both, Mayim & Jonathan. 💚 💙 💚 💙
Get Sam Elliott! He’s a super humble guy but is instantly recognizable with his towering height, silver mane, and of course the mustache. He used to shop at a place I worked in Portland. No swarms of fans, always polite to us staff, and loaded his own purchases into a modest Suburban that had seen some years. I want to hear his story too!
What a great conversation and an amazing window into Jeff’s life❤️he is very blessed and we all appreciate him sharing the challenges he faced and the pure joy he infuses into life!❤
What a great podcast ! Mayim , thanks for having a podcast my teenage daughter enjoys . She could care less about social media but loves a good podcast! .. I really enjoy your podcast !
Love this episode...I would love to hear Bev's take....really, really miss her and hope she is ok. No sure why she isn't on anymore, please tell her we are in awe of her badassery and personal growth. I could literally listen to her take on just about anything. Mayim could not be anymore relatable during Bevisodes...seeing you two interact with Jonathon as mediator is pure gold! PS: Both of you are truly shining in today's podcast! An amazing surprise gift on a snow day!
This was the first podcast of yours that I saw. I'm so glad I found you! I've enjoyed Mr. Foxworthy but seeing you together made my night. I had to go back a few times because I was laughing out loud. Thank you so much 💖
Lovely episode, positive yet not smarmy or unrealistic. I'm around his age, and I like the age variety of your guests, it's really fun. As a northern person, I think divorce became more commonplace a few years earlier in my life than in his, but even so, there was a lot of shame around it in those years. OTOH, there were a lot of couples who stayed together when they shouldn't have, and that's a whole other way things could've gone. Anyway, very good to see him and hear how he got started, and what he's doing now. Loved seeing his drawings, too. Thanks! PS: Jonathan, framing "Nyah, nyah" as "Bringing something to his [Fred's] awareness," means you've been reading way too much self-help stuff. Just saying.
I have been watching Jeff Foxworthy for years and years. I have watched the Blue-Collar Comedy Tour countless time. He is one of the all-time great comedians.
Oh my gosh!!! I have always loved Jeff but I love him even more now!!! What a fantastic conversation!!! Thank you Jeff for being you!!! You are amazing!! I watched all the way to the end!! Mayim and Jonathan are soooo funny!! When you talked about your little toes...it reminded me of my husband....when we started dating and he felt the need to tell me about his little toes...they never ever had toenails. Probably weirder than yours!! LOL!
Love the commercials guys... you get through them sooooo fast and makes it easy to listen too. LOL I really like your show and you are hilarious. I am like that when it comes to someone saying something and I can pop off with some weird funny answer right off the top of my head. I get asked how I do that and I have to say I come by it honestly... my mother's a smartass too. I thought that heinz 57 was from Missouri... oh no we are missouri mules or jackasses. which is it. .
Wow! i really got to know him better 🥹♥️ Not every comedian has lived a life filled with beauty and humor, some also endure hardships along the way, but despite all of that, he is still successful and he is so fascinating! I love Jeff! ♥️ Thank you for this MBB Team! You guys are the best! 🫶🏻 Can't wait for the next ep! 😁 btw, i really love when you post this video and have chapters 😊
I’ve always enjoyed Jeff- I grew up on him and the Blue Collar Comedy crew. This gave me a whole new admiration and appreciation for him! Amazing episode. And Mayim, no shame in your pinky toe game- I practically have dewclaws so you’re not alone! 😂😂
He is recognizable. I have seen him out a few times at local stores doing regular people things like picking out pumpkins at the grocery store with his daughter.
I really enjoyed this conversation. There are times when one must look to get a grip on the earth or ground oneself. This was it. Thanks! Also, see if you can get Mr. Foxworthy to do a drawing of your pinky toe. It would be worth a fortune.
I have new earn respect for this man, not because he makes everyone laugh but because he's a good person. Thanks for introducing him as a real person.
and he's clearly not masking serious depression with humor/comedy. He is truly human who loves comedy and life and I miss his show so much
I agree this is a great podcast showing how kind and compassionate he is. Love this!

I truly enjoyed this interview with Jeff Foxworthy. He is such an interesting and wonderful man. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. ❤
I never suspected that Jeff was this intensely wonderful. I have missed out on this gem for decades. I love knowing about him now.
I have always loved Jeff, it is so good to hear a successful man prioritizing his family and truly meaning it.
Jeff is such a pure soul. He has so much basic wisdom inside him, a great compass to find the right direction. I feel centered just listening to him.
Please do a "Ask Mayim Anything" episode, but it is Jeff Foxworthy getting to ask Mayim questions he wants to know!!
Yesssss!!!! I love love love that guy. Such a cool human being. Thank you for having him!!

Can you relate to Jeff? Is playful teasing one of your family's love languages? 🤔Share more down below!
Maybe it’s a southern thing and yes, we randomly make harsh comments to each other in jest. I think over all, it toughens us up. 😊

I like this "new" TH-cam feature of the views and thumbs up numbers rolling up. It's fun to watch people interact.
Jeff and his projects are timeless!
I’d love to see Melissa Villaseñor as a guest on MBB.
What a great human Jeff Foxworthy is...
A bright shining light. Lovely.
Thank you for the refreshing interview!
😅
What a great podcast! He is so genuine ! Love your show!!
I love this! Clean comedy is better because the cussing and raunchy stuff is sometimes to easy and cheap
On second thought a weedy hairy territory...warning my be offensive.
99% immaculate old trucker stuff.
Thanks for this. Jeff is one of the best comedians out there. Especially love that accent
Always love Jeff Foxworthy.❤🎉
What a beautiful man❤. I laughed and smiled , thank you Mayim and Jonathan for always bringing joy in my day!!
I didn't really know much about Jeff Foxworthy. This was a great interview. Definitely a new fan here.
What a good good person! Such a fun interview.
Don’t forget about his bass voice. Can put me in a trance.
Jeff Foxworthy is one of my favourite comedians to watch…This was a great podcast. Well done👏🏼♥️👏🏼♥️👏🏼
Thank you for having Jeff on your show. I don't know how I could like him even more,
What a great conversation and an amazing window into Jeff’s life❤️he is very blessed and we all appreciate him sharing the challenges he faced and the pure joy he infuses into life!❤
Listened twice and forwarded to many! Loved this interview!! Thank you !!
Yay Jeff Foxworthy! One of my favorite men on earth.
This is one of my favorite episodes.
Jeff is such a positive uplifting guy, hard not to like him!

Jeff is such a very real person! Really loved this video. And what an artist! wow, bring him back for more! ♥♥♥
Wow! Listening to him talk makes me see him in a whole new light! Amazing person!
I am so glad TH-cam recommended this! I love Jeff fox worthy and Mayam!
I listened to this episode in the car and then had to view it, just to see the drawings!! - Love it and love you guys!
Mayim, what a wonderful interview! Thank you for always making us think, smile and laugh ❤
Thank you inviting Jeff. I have had many bouts of laughter listening to him. 😊
I listened all the way to the end. I barely have a toe nail on my pinky toe.
I thought that heinz 57 was from Missouri... oh no we are missouri mules or jackasses. which is it.
.
I love jeff! Hes always been 1 of my favorites. Im excited to listen to this now 😁💙
Wow! i really got to know him better 🥹♥️ Not every comedian has lived a life filled with beauty and humor, some also endure hardships along the way, but despite all of that, he is still successful and he is so fascinating! I love Jeff! ♥️
Thank you for this MBB Team! You guys are the best! 🫶🏻 Can't wait for the next ep! 😁 btw, i really love when you post this video and have chapters 😊
I love Mr Fozxworthy and he helps keep my sanity. Great Serotonin release.
Thank you for your inview with Jeff foxworthy 😅😊
I’ve always enjoyed Jeff- I grew up on him and the Blue Collar Comedy crew. This gave me a whole new admiration and appreciation for him! Amazing episode.
And Mayim, no shame in your pinky toe game- I practically have dewclaws so you’re not alone! 😂😂
So much fun!! Great interview, and Jeff is an ARTIST? Who knew?
Mayim's interview style is key to getting the great stories and information that Jeff Foxworthy has to share. Can't wait to hear other Mayim podcasts.
