If I start to get reasonable number of views - I will show you what is CONTINENTAL philosophy ---the real philosophy. He is working for last 8 years and not a single video on Heidegger, Wittgenstein, Rorty, Foucault, Kierkegaard, Deluze or Husserl, Berguson, or any of the linguistic philosophers (only exception is Hegel - which he covers because he is a Marxist) I noticed he has also made some videos on British political philosophers - but those videos were very academic in nature. This is just a light hearted comment

How do you see Islam as a religion in the hands of a new generation that is seeking answers to everything? Since I started reading philosophy and science, I have become agnostic and believe that no belief system can withstand the test of time. Human cognitive and creative abilities continue to evolve, and belief systems often remain static throughout history. This clash between evolving intelligence and static belief systems may no longer be sustainable. What do you say?

But believe me or not, his visual quality is mind blowing and the way he prepares to deliver is sharp and to the point. Hey good question- I can talk on this topic for hours. I will just quote one sentence “ Christianity is the Platonism for the masses” - mad prophet Nietzsche (PBUH). Yar saint Augustine was a neo-platonist he based Christianity on Plato, which did work for some time. This is philosophy my friend, not exact sciences - every truth will eventually be overshadowed by another bigger truth!! But good question

For Plato read Symposium- love is the desire to immortalize yourself - yeah sounds strange but that is what Plato thinks. Nietzsche’s view on love kept changing as he matured into his system- Nietzsche does not think in terms of virtues (that’s Platonic thinking), Nietzsche thinks in terms of instincts and yes love he considers a basic instinct.

You said in one of your previous videos that Plato was the like first Christian, but here as u said Plato's philosophy was more of a rational inquiry while Christianity is based on divine revelations, so how was Plato relevant to Christianity?
Hey good question- I can talk on this topic for hours. I will just quote one sentence “ Christianity is the Platonism for the masses” - mad prophet Nietzsche (PBUH).
Yar saint Augustine was a neo-platonist he based Christianity on Plato, which did work for some time.
This is philosophy my friend, not exact sciences - every truth will eventually be overshadowed by another bigger truth!!

Is love a virtue according to Plato or Nietzsche?
For Plato read Symposium- love is the desire to immortalize yourself - yeah sounds strange but that is what Plato thinks.
Nietzsche’s view on love kept changing as he matured into his system- Nietzsche does not think in terms of virtues (that’s Platonic thinking), Nietzsche thinks in terms of instincts and yes love he considers a basic instinct.
