Goethe - Faust - Greatest work in German Literature
Western or “Faustian” culture is characterized by its restless thrust toward the "infinite" and "unattainable", or the “conception of mankind as an active, fighting, progressing whole” . The Faustian individual “strives to direct the world according to his will” - Spengler (Decline of the West)

Nietzsche - Twilight of the Idols - Book discussion
มุมมอง 8K14 วันที่ผ่านมา
This is a short work of Nietzsche, which covers all his main ideas. Some interpreters have even speculated that in Twilight of the Idols, we can already see the signs of Nietzsche’s coming mental breakdown. Nietzsche envisions a future in which humans are free from the “philosophical gods or Idols” of the past - ideas that have come to be regarded as dogmatically true from which mankind must li...
Vladimir Nabokov - Lolita - Summary and Analysis (Urdu - Hindi)
มุมมอง 1.4Kหลายเดือนก่อน
Lolita is a 1955 novel written by Russian-American novelist Vladimir Nabokov that addresses the controversial subject of hebephilia. The protagonist is a French literature professor who moves to New England and writes under the pseudonym Humbert Humbert. He describes his obsession with a 12-year-old "nymphet", Dolores Haze, whom he kidnaps and sexually abuses after becoming her stepfather. Priv...
Post - Modernism - An analysis
มุมมอง 1.6Kหลายเดือนก่อน
The starting point of post-modernism is Darwin and those intellectuals who followed his lead namely Nietzsche, Freud and Marx. They were then followed my many. Nietzsche basically turned his back on Reason in favor of the Will to Power. Marx claimed that Truth is only what the Ruling Class says it is. Freud believed that we are instinctive animals living in a modern society that put severe rest...

Friedrich Nietzsche - Genealogy of Morals - Discussion
มุมมอง 5K3 หลายเดือนก่อน
"I can write in letters which make even the blind see. I call Christianity the one great curse, the one great intrinsic depravity, the one great instinct for revenge for which no expedient is sufficiently poisonous, secret, subterranean, petty. I call it the one immortal blemish of mankind." Friedrich Nietzsche is one of the most influential thinkers of the past 150 years and On the Genealogy o...
Albert Camus - The Stranger - Summary and Analysis
มุมมอง 1.5K4 หลายเดือนก่อน
Throughout this book, Camus’s philosophical tenets of absurdity and existentialism are clearly shining through. In essence, absurdity here refers to humanity’s futile attempt to impose meaning and rationality on a meaningless and irrational universe. This becomes clear after the first two sentences of the book: “My mother died today. Or maybe yesterday, I don’t know.”
Albert Camus - Myth of Sisyphus - Life is Absurd (Review and Discussion)
มุมมอง 2.4K4 หลายเดือนก่อน
Camus gives us a philosophical theory, or rather, perhaps, a vision of “the absurd.” Sisyphus is an example of all of us, life spent in futile quests. The absurd is born, Camus says, of our increasingly impersonal, abstract, scientific view of the world. Ultimately, only personal experience is meaningful. Sisyphus was condemned by the Olympian gods to spend all eternity in fruitless labor, roll...

Finally people are recognizing your worth, yesterday you had 2.95k subscribers while today 3.3k. happy for you sir, I really appreciate you work please keep up the great work, everything is greatly defined, and your side notes are so help to understand the background of topic, please provide a video on islamic philosophy and it's origin.
Thanks brother- yes will do. Thx
Sir Salaam, My situation feels like that of Faust, as explained till the half of this class. I have a small question. You mentioned in one of your videos that we have the complete works of only one philosopher which reached to Asia or India, even though there have been thousands. In today's world, if we like to pose as experts in a particular topic, where should we publish our work to ensure it stands the test of time? In short, could you guide me on where and how such work should be published, considering that not all works can be printed as books? Your reply would be highly appreciated. I must mention that I am learning a lot from your teachings. Thank you and wishing you continued success.
Hi - thanks for watching. Honestly I have no idea about publishing process. Wish I had a better answer.
WOW. The epic f Gilgamesh has a complete and perfect character arch, which brings me to think the story telling from the start followed a structure.
Good point.
Sir, I've a question. Do you know any rationale for why most of mythological stories were poetic in form, rather prose? I understand people didn't know writing in those, but still if they could tell a tale, pros seems a more natural and easier option. Thanks again for your illuminating videos..
Hey, I think it was easier to sing and memorize stories in poetry than in prose, before alphabets were invented. When humans started prose writing, it was a huge step forward towards rationality, as poetry gives you license to talk irrational things also. Good point brother.
A very good thing that you are doing is summarizing things at intervals...
Thank you
Bhai kitab ka naam to sahi le....Morals हैं- morality नही
Hi - thanks for your comment- I checked a few sources before making the video- the name can either be translated as moral and morality, both are correct. Thx

Sir g eloquent discourse.. Muslims kings and scholars too derive their right of Authority from Islamic literature. I am amazed that well read gentlemen like you too overlook some facts that are true. Internecine fighting between caliphate to Umayyads and Abbassids resulted from such sources of Islamic knowledge. Ottoman caliphate too fall in this category. For instance, Ghazali justified Almustahzir caliphate, ignoring intellect. By doing this , ghazali rejected democracy. Then Muslim scholastics wrongly translated اولی الامر and cemented In Islamic concepts of ruling through absolute power , proposing hegemonic power grabbers. The sad saga continues to surprise us all. Regards. Asar ahmadzay
Hi - thanks for your comment. I agree with your point. Did I say that Muslims kings drive their power from people- No. Of course muslims also do that, but this video was about west. Thanks for your comment.

Excellent channel. İ would like to give you some advice. Please change your channel name as it is very difficult to search on youtube. For example I searched "3rd pov" and it gave me irrelevant videos. İ had to go back to my friend and found that your channel is only searchable when written as "3rd_pov". You can't expect to grow your channel like that. Also, select a name more easily understandable to common desi audience like "Falsafa Explained" or something like that. Furthermore, please do some collaboration with the black hole or syed muzammil to increase your viewership. I'm saying all of this because I want people like you to flourish on youtube scene of Pakistan. You must succeed and I pray for that.
