Thanks for closing the cabinet doors . Open cabinets are hard for me to see . As a child and until I was about 17 we lived in a haunted house. It's now a restaurant and has been proved to be haunted . The reason I hate open cabinets is because every night the cabinets in our kitchen would open . My bedroom was off the dining room so I heard the cabinets open . I remember as a six year old going in the kitchen and every door was open. After that I would never go into the kitchen at night . Finally when I was a senior in highschool we finally moved after a week of my Dad trying to stop the cabinet doors closed . He tried first to just put a small wooden piece across the doors to keep them closed up until he tried a 2x4 and instead of the laches he'd tried to take would turn and the doors open . That night everyone in the house heard to 2x4 fly across the room and break out the window in the back door then everything in the cabinets was thrown out and on the floor. The next morning Dad decided we would be moving. We went and got boxes and my uncle's truck to move with . We'd left my collie chained up on the porch and all the doors locked . We came back and Lucky ( my collie ) was in the front hall still chained to the front porch and the doors still locked . Dad unlocked the door got my dog and we left everything there . We never returned but finally sold the house and it sold a number of times . No one stayed more than a few months after that until someone remodeled it into the restaurant that's there now . The Waxahachie, TX Historic Restaurant is still there and still haunted .
She was quite the doll maker. It looks like that was her business. All the boxes and paper were probably for mailing the dolls. Another wonderful video, thanks for bringing it to us! Looking forward to the next.
This house has so many memories of a family that was full of love. The children don't know the sadness of the father and won't ever see either parent again. Frozen in time and the house knows all the secrets and divulge them. Beautiful home and furnishings love the crafting room, very light and airy. Good to see you again Dave. Have a great day and stay safe
The wall paper is flocked, made with leftover bits of fabric, sometimes wool. Was supposed to be very durable in earlier eras. The floor tiles do look like terracotta, not 100% sure. Thanks, interesting house!
Is so sad that the family would hate each other so much to dissolve a family nucleus. Sad. So the house sits and rots away. Love ya Dave. Be safe all!💕
Dave, ofsaw this one about 8 years ago. The created 2 headed doll in the frame tipped me off. I was then waiting for the craft making room. What a difference today. The home was perfext, untouched and her office and supplies tl make different things were fantastically organized. I recall a table with different colors of rolls of ribbon. It still is a salvageable place and beautiful. To see it with many furnishings missing is very sad and the roof now leaking lets one know this is on it's way to being damaged more. Sorry about your knee. Need to take better care of yourself, please. I saw the Japan exploration and I was pleased to see you running 🏃♀️ with no complaints! ❤...on to the next one. Nice to get tl see an update after 8 years even though it was tossed and stolen from. ..
7:36 also look how beautiful that rug under the table is. Wow! 9:17 cordless phones came available to the public in 1980. What a beautiful bathroom! She was so tidy & organized. Wow she had custom doll making business.. ❤ this explore!! What a beautiful home! He grieved himself to death, how sad.
What a real shame that the children of this loved up couple won’t get to inherit and restore this incredible place 😢 l can imagine that they are full of regrets , so sad life too short . The home is a testimony to their marriage and life , a real animal loving couple too . Unfortunately some of the rooms have been trashed by vandals , they don’t deserve to be named explores like yourselves , l think they Did the dodgy stuff with the dolls heads too 😮 which speaks volumes about their intellect . Thank you Dave and marky , love seeing you guys exploring together and as usual you have done an incredible job Thank you for the journey guys ❤️hope you come down to the West Country one day , stay safe X
What an amazing house. The pink floor tiles are terracotta, the wood floor is parquet & the black & white look like marble. Thanks for a great explore Dave xx
I just wanted to say I absolutely love your videos, I'm a quiet single mother an i don't get out much these days. But somehow when I'm watching your videos I feel as if though I'm actually there with u exploring all these amazing 😍 places 😁 I am so grateful 🙏😊 for coming across a great explorer as yourself and absolute respect 👍 for good morals that U stand by in Ur vids thanks again Major fan!!!! Can't wait for the next
HI DAVE, I'M DAVID NORRIS FROM DEPTFORD SOUTH EAST LONDON. YOU MAKE US SOUTHERNERS VERY PROUD WITH YOUR PASSION. I LOVE THE WAY YOU RESPECT THOSE WHO HAVE PASSED, AND CAN TELL BY YOUR VOICE YOU ARE SO SINCERE. KEEP UP THE GOOD EXPLORES AND I WISH BOTH YOU AND MARKY ALL THE VERY BEST OF LUCK.
Hi Dave(and allI rarely comment on vids I watch but of course I click the thumbs up) but I just have to say something...the empathy that you show in all your vids, are so touching, the intro to this vid,it was so touching that it made me tear up and I just had to comment. Thanks for the amazing vids,I can go to places that in life I can't,so keep them coming. Also Hi to Dan and Andrew, can't remember others names (please forgive me) but have seen you all and you all rock. I'm 63 and love to go exploring, but with ill health I can't do as much now,my daughter and I love ghost hunting and have a few places we can go,that's not too difficult for me to handle. Love you all and keep the awesome vids coming (all of you) Brightest Blessings to you all,CazxXx Blessed Be :o)
So nice to see the doll house again. Maybe he was the doll maker or maybe they did it together. I think I would go mad living in that house all alone, surrounded by memories. Thank for bringing us along, stay safe❤
Dave it’s so hard loosing your Nan she’s like a second mom ,when I was 24 I lost my Nan it’s terribly upsetting so my heart goes out to you ❤️❤️❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
I'm glad you shared this one I don't remember it. Such a beautiful walk to get there and then what a gorgeous and unique house. It is beautiful. I'm glad you've continued to stay with us all these years. Thank you so much for all your hard work, and i'm so sorry about your grandma xoxo
16:45 min. Someone must have tried to break open the door. An explorer from Germany has stayed in an abandoned house in France and locked the door exta! At night after 00:00h other explorers came and broke open the door where the explorer was sleeping! Something like this must not happen! Even if the houses are empty, you should still have respect for other people's property!
What a Beautiful house Dave, some of the rooms looked as if someone's is still living there, and I love the staircase. The creepy picture frame with the two headed doll looks as if someone did that and not the owner. This is a sad story thanks for sharing this place with us. Love the shout out to Mark and I love when all my fave explores hang out, I watch all their channels. Take care.
Dave I'm sorry for your lose. I love watching all of your adventures. You always try to enjoy your explorers. You make it fun. Tell Andy I said that he needs to smile more often. I love him too and he also has a nice smile. Enjoy life while you can because before you know it, it will all be over. Love all you youngsters and I pray for all of your safety. Loved your video.
The floor tiles are called 'flag stones'. Judging by the expensive wall coverings and matching drapes this was a very wealthy family, no way would the owner sit down at a table for a meal without a pure linen or cotton tablecloth so that means someone set that up. The top floor would have been the staff quarters. Most families in France have to pay enormous death duties, land tax plus the local Mayor and town authorities before being able to claim their deceased parents home. If they wanted to sell it both children must agree, Strict rules apply to properties for sale so it may have been totally impossible for any of the children to claim this house. They are not even allowed to enter or remove anything other than their own personal belongings, you can't say the children fell out with the parents without understanding that they may have wanted their own type of lives and not followed the family tradition of Doll Maker trade. Sad but this happens all around the world Mark, the only people to benefit are the banks and lawyers. 💕🇦🇺
Dave: "People from Canada watching this now be like, 'That's not snow.' " Me: Yeah, I'd have to agree. I used to live in Iceland and sometimes it snowed *a lot* in the winter. Plows cleared the roads after blizzards and left 4-6 foot tall snowbanks all over the place, like a paintball competition was about to start. 😀
Hi Dave thank you so much for so much for your time doing work for your fans ,I love your videos Very much thankyou and be safe to you your family and friends to 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🐕🐾🥴
What a stunning house, I definitely heard 'Help' in the doll's room! I love how excited you get and how passionate you are. The doll picture was giving me Pheobe Buffay vibes! X
Beautiful home but sad the children have hate in their hearts and come back to get their belongings. The staircase is beautiful. When you were in the doll making room it sound like a child said help creepy. I seen a handsome man in the mirror 2 times lol. Thank you Dave for all the videos you do . Be easy on your knees. God bless and safe travels on the country roads. Love you loads. Tell Mark hi. xx
Don’t be too quick to pass up bathrooms-especially in old houses or mansions. They are beautiful-the sinks and claw foot tubs are works of art. Attention to detail was so important-I wish it were again. What a beautiful mansion and such a love story. Shame on their kids!
I always enjoy your thoughtful musings on the former residents of the homes you explore. They are very endearing and reveal your sweet nature. I was thinking of the song "Country Roads" and it prompted me to visit your channel. Love you loads! Kate in Chicago
Hat a grand home, must have been exquisite in its day..such a huge shame that families don't agree and so much beauty and history is lost..Thankyou as always Dave..🌟
I want that vanity and tapestry 😩😩😩😩 so bad!!! Love your channel. I have been a sub since you first started on TH-cam. Love you bunches! Happy exploring 💝
Love seeing your old explores and you look so young. Such a sad stories and all those memories and possessions left behind like that. It was a beautiful mansion loved the details, furniture, paintings ok the dolls were freaky. Great exploring Dave and loved the photos at the end of the video. 🤘🏼❤️
Totally loved the house....even though it was abandoned for so long and had so many dolls (dolls are always so creepy and reminds me of evil stuffs) still there were no creepy vibes and I can feel the love and warmness in the house so looks like couple who lived here were good people....
It’s fun looking back to one of your older videos. It’s great that you’ve “stayed the same” thinking about who lived there. And always respectful in your explores. I remember being worried about your knee! Carry on and keep filming! I enjoy your videos!
Wow im in love this is my dream home i love the house and im into arts and crafts and dolls it would be my dream to go through all that stuff if it was mine. This place could easily have the work done. The orang colour floor tiles are terracotta tiles lol. Thankyou so much for showing us this treasure and its so nice when you close the cupboard doors and drawers it shows you totally respect your finds it looks so much nicer its so sad when places like this get vandalised. Thankyou again xx
What a sad, sad story 😢an absolutely beautiful home just left to rot and crumble. I would love to know the true back story, but we will never know. Great job exploring.
#Dave, I love the craft studio! The sunlight pouring through that beautiful window! I'm totally digging it! It seemed like you were hurrying thru it all this time! Strange! ❤ The lady probably sold her dolls at craft fairs!
Hi Dave great explore your always so respectful such a shame famlies fall apart what could be so bad that cannot be fixed. Missing Mark where's he been? ❤❤❤❤❤ love ya stay safe

The nursery rhyme " The grandfather clock stopped, short never to go again, when the old man died, tick tock, meaning that the clocks stopped at the same time as he died
I love how pink &teal colors go through the whole home,i love the teal kitchen cabinets pink and teal goes so good together, i think the chain could of been for cheeter eye glasses To hange around your neck or a pocket watch chain, beautiful 👌🤗 homethanksfor sharing
Beautiful place Dave and crew amazing dolls and creations the place took me back in time amazing antiques and the cigarettes sad. About the family and all the things left behind thanks for a beautiful location and video stay safe from Australia ❤
I really enjoy watching your channel. Your many explores are truly time capsules. I like how you pan around the collections of photos/paintings on the walls. In this home, many of them I think were needlepoint. Looks like the lady of the house was very creative (along with the doll making) and other crafts in the rooms. There is one particular painting (15: 57) behind the door. The man is a psychiatrist (Freud?) and his patient. The rabbit on the couch could possibly be the from Alice in Wonderland???? Looking forward to all your up-coming explores. Love from Toronto, Canada. :)
The differences when you go in you don't take anything you don't destroy anything you don't mistreated nitrate the people in the house with respect you tell the story and you leave it as it was if not better by shutting doors closing windows ❤️🐈 Australia

Thanks Dave I fell in-love with this Doll house what i love is the colors . I would have to put in an Elevator my knees are so bad i hardly can step up my 4 stairs to my porch. What a Beaut home . Love u loads to Dave
That’s what I thought using fabric as a wallpaper in those type of houses I always thought. Oh is it to make it a bit more warm though in them days I’d like to know myself.
It’s lovely to see abandoned properties, but you can see slowly that the whole world is abandoning everything is gonna be like a ghost town. I’ve got a few them already with these abandoned buildings and properties, but it’s interesting to see and know what’s going on and find out why it’s crazy things that are going on now.
Hello Dave, What an awesome home I loved every bit of it and that craft room was out of this world I would love a room like that ,so pack it up and send it to me in Australia. 🤣 Dave I don't know if you relize how fast you move when filming? Watching the vide I don't have time to focus on things around the house , I feel disappointed on missing out on seeing the great things around the rooms. I'm not complaining about you videos because I enjoy them greatly. I just want you to be aware of those watching, you always have such interesting places for us to see. Thank you for your time in making and editing all your videos of these great places you find all over the world then sharing them with us.
Sad beautiful explore.. Time stopped wgen his wife died.. Love the comments as you go from room to room... This mansion could be sold and repaired so IT lives once again.. That knife on yhe stair was crazy as the Doll heads....
Is that a different house in the thumbnail? Great find, Dave! Always enjoy these! Wouldn't I love to have seen this long ago when it was all nice and grand!

That is a crafters dream room!!!! Love the thought of them working up there being creative ❤

Very good, nice slow pace. The hairstyles on the doll heads were originally done to MATCH the little lady to whom it would be gifted.

She created this. They didn't put dolls on the curtains. I saw this house explored about 8 years ago.
If only I could afford to move in there and redo everything to make it safe and livable again I sure would. That’s a beautiful place.

Professional Doll-maker…..big money in Dolls…..can’t imagine why, but there you have it. 😅
This is a beautiful time capsule. Thanks for sharing and all you do!❤
Yes, Dave. Im in Ontario Canada 🍁 and we get lots of snow
A beautiful house and content, a pity that nobody took care of it 😕
The differences when you go in you don't take anything you don't destroy anything you don't mistreated nitrate the people in the house with respect you tell the story and you leave it as it was if not better by shutting doors closing windows ❤️🐈 Australia
This house is absolutely beautiful!

That’s what I thought using fabric as a wallpaper in those type of houses I always thought. Oh is it to make it a bit more warm though in them days I’d like to know myself.
That was a great house. So many different things. Yes your right, the tiles are terracotta. X

I hope your knee feels better soon
Great explore Dave...❤
It’s lovely to see abandoned properties, but you can see slowly that the whole world is abandoning everything is gonna be like a ghost town. I’ve got a few them already with these abandoned buildings and properties, but it’s interesting to see and know what’s going on and find out why it’s crazy things that are going on now.
If there's no will (the person dies intestate) then the deceased's estate will go to the next of kin once probate is completed.
The rooms in this houseare huge and amazing it could be restored
Great explore Dave such an incredible place in its day it must have been a brilliant place to live in.
