Very impressive. I have been watching thousands of you tube videos about homelessness and this is the very best setup to be seen .Thank God for people like Allan Graham and his team workers. God bless you and wishing you an excellent future.

What a great and very wise man Mr. Graham is. I can sit and listen to him drop pearls of wisdom for hours without ever losing interest. I agree with Rebecca, Mr. Graham truly is a ROCK STAR!

I love this. Human dignity fully recognized here. I almost cried when the creator of this village said, " No other person has slept in the bed." That means everyone gets a new bed and a place decorated with the person's style. So so personal and beautiful!

This is such a wonderful video and tour of the village.
I was saddened to see that this video only has 1,727 views. It needs to have millions of views!

I love this man's vision and the best thing is people from other cities are coming to him to learn how to do this in their city.

They've got some food production there, but if they had a food Forest designed for them, that would be even better for this community. I like what I see here

Wood shop and forge were great, but now defunct! I'd love to see those return as programs to CFV! T shirt printing operations could use some modern shirt printing equipment donated! Micro enterprise program of t Shirt production is a great idea in concept, otherwise! I see this as a very helpful program( if some monies can be generated to invest in a modern production shop!) Allens view is, find me the folks and recources,.and I am a hundred percent in! Any artists, or those with sublimation experience or machine embroidery, are encouraged to chat with him or the Art house manager, about revamping that program! Lee Grimes,(first resident of the village!)

The importance of fincially ridding at church on sunday when in attendance , if given the opportunity to attend: the many other personal benifits for not only showing-up ,but that of doing something worth while of one's self & money

I think Community First is a fantastic and inspirational idea and I'm so glad its working and to hear the idea is spreading is awesome. I wish it would spread as far as Australia as we desperately need help for our homeless and even low income families and what the govt is doing just isn't working as far as I can see. Congratulations on bringing this to TH-cam so it can be seen by everybody. I am not a religious person but that doesn't mean I cant feel empathy for those in need and I am glad they are getting assistance with dignity and respect. Thanks to Alan great job and thanks to you too John. I wish the whole project all the best for the future and I hope it spreads world wide.

To me to be even more cost effective, would be to have a central kitchen bathroom living room area around private bedrooms. Messy people should not get a pass, they should be required to help with upkeep. It would be more cost effective than having each unit have its own kitchen and bathroom.

    • @randomvintagefilm273

That's what it is! There are centralized kitchens and bathrooms
