Thanks for the videos on the Prism canoe. I recently acquired one like yours, and actually just tried it out for the first time yesterday. Looks like you did a great trip with yours.

I really enjoyed watching this series. I have been through these areas several times and you did a great job showing just what it is like. The b-chain area is one of my favorite areas for scenery in the park, and I just went through there in 2016, in the opposite direction. The small rapids on Olifaunt that you went down is especially memorable because we thought we could canoe up it and ended up getting flipped over, we spent the night at the campsite on that point and dried our stuff in the morning sun. :) We usually go in the spring and the water is high at pine bay so the boiler parts are not sticking out of the water like that, also the water in the Duex is usually high enough to canoe right over the beaver dams at that time.

Cool story John, thanks! We're thing of going in at Saganaga Lake this summer and heading thru the Falls Chain. Hopefully we don't flip, can't imagine that was much fun! Thanks for tuning in!

No, not too much fishing...this past trip this summer was supposed to be lots of fishing but had to cut that trip short.

Any plans for any more fire towers soon?

I had a new one lined up for this weekend but the trip fell thru...hopefully I'll get there before the end of the year and the snow gets too deep! I do have a ride I did back to the Aldina Fire Tower this fall, that I'll post in awhile. They are getting farther away to find new one's now and they're tearing them down 3 or 4 a year! Just visited the Dog River Tower last week and the Cupola's been burned off! Thanks for watching Jack!

Oh no! It's been a bad year for towers everywhere... in Maine just this month one tower was completely scrapped with no warning, one was flown off it's summit, and one (and possibly two) had their cabs blow off in a storm. As for Dog River, your video is now a piece of history for a tower that no longer exists how it once did. I love your videos, keep up the good work!

Thanks Jack! I will be trying to get a few more next year for sure!
