I 100% disagree. Smith was not expected to come here and get 12 sacks. The loss of McNeil has a bigger impact than anyone is talking about. I think Levi has to step up. That interior pressure is what frees up the D ends. You watch Smith work when Alim is back in the line up.
The non-existent pass rush on this team has been the Achilles heel for the last 3 years. If we can't get pressure on opposing quarterbacks we're going to be in big trouble

I watched the first game against the Vikings and the Packers Vikings game last week. Their WRs are a problem! But, even with their weapons, they have only scored 40 points once! Lions 🦁 will win as long as they protect the ball.

We wont be able to afford Parsons. We have our own players that are going to be getting massive contract extensions soon. Like Hutchison, Kerby Joseph, Jameson Williams and Brian Branch. This is one of the downsides to hitting on most of our draft picks. It's great when they're on their rookie deals and playing well but when they're up for contract extensions there is no way the Lions will be able to afford them all. And that doesn't even include extending Davis who is on a one year deal.

The NFL needs to investigate that game vs the 49ers/ Terrion Arnold being choked by Jennings on the ground, LaPort had two helmet to helmet hits on one play, Jahmyr Gibbs helmet to helmet hit which cut his face and no call by the ref and 49 DT or DE trying to hit Jared Goff late when Goff was already on the ground. Instead of hitting Goff, he hit Bosa. But with Fred Warner's pregame speech on the sidelines saying " To make it personal, put your forehead on their mother f-ing forehead, make it hurt" the NFL better investigate.

We beat them already at their house and now they are coming into our house with 13 players on defense considering the LIon's fans. Vikes are going to have to play with the silent count all game. ADVANTAGE LIONS!!! They may score some points on us, but Goff and company will scorer more.
They were playing a 3rd place schedule , we played a 1st place schedule. So while we played the cowboys, they got the giants. We got the bills, and they got the jets. We got tampa, they got Atlanta. All other opponents were common
Smith is 32 years old. You can not expect sack numbers of years back. Holmes should have given up the draft capital and got a Garrett or Crosby. We must be concerned about this defense against Minnesota.
