- The Cosmopolitan Cocktail was created in NY city and became a trendy drink after Madonna tried it at the rainbow room bar and since Carrie Bradshaw was drinking it with her friends at the hit show "Sex and the City."
The classic Cosmo includes Absolut Citrus vodka and Orange Liqueur Cointreau, fresh lime juice.
I replaced vodka and Cointreau with homemade orange lemon vodka in my improved version.
Instead of the Cranberry Juice, I used Jellied Cranberry Sauce.

i'm a bartender and i rarely drink alcohol ever since i started the job, you cant get drunk on a shift so ironically i used to drink more when i spent less time in bars

When I worked in a bar I wouldn't finish till 12.30am - 1am. I had no social life outside of work due to working every evening and weekend, so at the end of the shift we would all grab a drink together with the kitchen staff. I drank most nights of the week. It wasn't healthy and now I can't believe I used to live like that.

@@shahar9452 that depends on where you work. There are plenty of bartenders who drink on their shift and their boss is cool with it.

Not a screw-bottom solution, but you could do the same thing with wide-mouth mason jars.

that looks so tasty, do you mind dropping a few tipps and tricks in some videos how to make homemade liquors like the homemade citrus vodka in this video?
In my country we always make flavour vodkas just like that. So This is not a new trick but I wanna suggest some flavours that could work if you make it just like he says.
You can use blackberries, and it will make deep purple black vodka with great smell. So far I liked vodka with some coffee beans in it the most. The flavour and smell is AMAZING. Just add in around 1 tbsp black coffee beans. (1 tbsp for every 1 litre of vodka)
One of the best flavours are mint + vodka. It has a refreshing taste with great smell we added around 1.5-2 tbsp fresh mint leaves per 1 litre of vodka.
@@violeta8445 Another great and very popular in some countries taste for vodka is cranberry. Get some fresh of frozen cranberries, slightly muddle them, add vodka, leave it for a few days, strain, add some sugar, voila!
I would advice trying to find vodka low in fusel oil.
He's right you don't need "top brand", but you could still look for decent quality because no matter what he says you will still be able to taste the fusel in that liqueur.
Low fusel makes everything way easier.
Idk bout vodka. But once tried it with plain Soju and strawberry. Doesnt end well.

I have however found many viable alternatives under the term (Alcohol) infusion/infuser bottle.
The results seemed a bit more aesthetic when you add "screw" to that search term.
