I remember when I was a kid, my family, friends and I went on this and got into the same jeep, and I managed to get in the driver's seat of the jeep. Just as we got to the large animatronic Cobra, I can hear my mom yelling at me to turn the wheel and get us out of there, but I couldn't as the steering wheel is stuck in place.
THIS RIDE IS IS FRICKI'N AWESOME!!!!
Awesome ride. I remember the heat from the flames. Also liked the air bursts simulating poison darts shooting from the walls. Good stuff.
This video makes the ride look tame.

@@giane2cool The ride vehicle is constantly pitching, swinging and rolling sharply the entire time. The video really does not capture this at all.
they need to put water droplets falling on the riders in the bug room to give it more of an effect of bugs falling on them.

Man, that animatronic snake at 2:14 scared the dogpiss out of me when I first went on this ride at 5 years old. Good times.
SAME, I had no idea what I was getting into. I remember burring my face into my dads shoulder the whole ride 😭
Honestly, I’m kinda glad I took this ride at a really young age, cause even I remember it being far more bumpier, also more chaotic and like even the mechanical snake literally moving far more aggressively while the drop was so quick that it the ride didn’t take its time, it was pure adrenaline!

It's not a drop
About ten feet, not very steep. The hydraulics lift the car up and drop it down at a fast pace so it feels like a big drop. Amazing how much of a marvel this ride is 22 years later!

In a ride with so many intense practical effects, I get that not everything can be perfectly synched every single time. But the boulder not resetting / advancing is seriously unforgivable. Like, when the boulder doesn't work, it should trigger a quick reset of the system to resync the effects or something.

physically impossible. there are hundreds of fail safes to prevent that.
Not to mention the boulder is physically on a track. It's not really rolling nor falling so... Yeah... But Domo, we both know that won't change anyone's story. *eye roll*

I love this ride. I'm so glad that's I'm tall enough to go on this which I went on last summer. I went on it four times a different projection each time. There two rides I whet on four times. This one and the Cars ride. I would have gone on Cars two times but I got paint each time but on the fourth and final time I finally got tires!

I love this ride so much, but I'm afraid everyone's scrutiny on the effects that can be off sometimes is part of what's pushing theme parks to switch from these beautiful practical rides to 3-d rides that rely on screens and glasses. I don't hate those, I'm just a lover of practical effects over animated. I think the immersion is much better, even if the effects are out of SINK, everything is so detailed you don't notice it as much.

I was going to ride this during the Halloween Party thinking it would have a short line, but it closed like two minutes before I got to that area.

@2:37 - 2:48 I've ridden this ride so many times and I still dont get what that part is supposed to be. Its all dark and it looks like there's supposed to be screens, like if something didnt work and then there's the fog with the projection of the branch. Can anyone explain what's up with that?

READ: The next time you are on that ride and Indiana Jones i hanging on a rope look behind you and you will find some red things, a worker told me to see what happened but i did not see anything happen. Show the next time your there show me what happened, thanks
I don’t have any photo proof, but I’ll tell you that I usually go every week and do that. If you look behind you on that scene, you’ll see the whole room move backwards, to make it seem like you’re backing up. The jeep stays stationary, but the hydraulics make it feel like you’re going over rubble backwards.
In the Parks how tf does the room move backwards?

NICKY RUIZ Adventureland cannot be replaced. If they want a Frozen ride they can either put in Fantasyland or even they can expand Fantasyland into Toontown. Just like what Disney did in Magic Kingdom for it's new Fantasyland.

Dinosaur is ok, but I feel like Indy has more stuff to look at. Dinosaur also seems to have its effects running right all the time, unlike Indy. xD I see where you’re coming from, but IMO Indy is better.
