I'm so much happier now that I have dry skin lol. My skin isn't sensitive like Alice's though. Glycolic acid every night is like water, and I started tretinoin 4 months ago without any issue whatsoever. At the exact same time I used to do 7% glycolic acid, 2% salicylic acid, 0.05% tretinoin, 5% benzoyl peroxide wash. Kinda wacky. I felt I had a use for all of them so I was like "why not everything!"

Interesting I only watch your videos and Lab Muffin - I appreciate you both so much with the science behind "the scenes" so to speak. I love your honesty and appreciate that we have similar skin types - I don't have acne prone skin, but my skin is dry/combo - mostly dry and I am all over the "thick creams". I love sun sticks for reapplying all day - I am currently using Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Sun Serum (really love this one). I need the black rice ampoule, lol - it's on my list (that list of mine is extremely long). I love these types of videos so much! Please keep doing them - I would really like you to do one on Chogongjin. So happy to see you - take care and have a lovely evening! 🌸💮🌸
The rice toner really does have such a special texture! And I very much might; I was browsing YesStyle and saw Chogongjin has released quite a few new products (in my favorite Youngan line too!!) I’m beyond curious haha

I think back to couple of years ago and I was trying the inkey list succinic acid and everybody else’s tranexamic acid…feeling like boo boo the fool😂😂😂🤡😂
I love using the toner for my weekly 7 Skin treatment. To be honest, I was going to use it up, because I didn’t think it did much of anything. I figured I’d use it for a DIY hydrating sheet mask, but I tried it for 7 Skin and was sold on it my first time. I’ve tried a lot of toners for that purpose, and none have given me the results it has. It went from “I don’t know” to holy grail status.
Hi Alice! I would LOVE to see a video about Indy brand facial oils! I’m currently enjoying Ghost Democracy’s Softglow Facial Oil as someone with dry, dehydrated skin but you have to be okay with a heavier feeling oil. I have been looking for more options to try!
Stratia fortify is a great one! Tbh I use 100% tamanu oil the most these days though (also heavy, and has a unique smell 👀…but works soooo well for my skin type)
Finally connected for a video!! 🎉 Would love you to revisit hanbang products. Are you familiar with Gothamista-Saro de Rue Essence? Would it fall in the category? Thanks!❤
I think it would!! That’s one I really want to try, and yet haven’t (because of the brand-centered approach here - maybe this break is a good time for it!)
HaruHaru was one of the first brands I tried when I started my skin care journey. The Wonder Black Rice Toner, scented and unscented works well for me. The lavender doesn't irritate my skin, and I call it "fat water" (thanks to James Welsh). Also, the gel cleanser is so soft and doesn't strip my dry skin. I have been using Tranexamic Acid for the past 3 years along with, Alpha Arbutin, Kojic Acid, Azelaic Acid and retinal for my melasma. (and niacinamide of course, because it's in everything). While it hasn't lightened enough for me, it hasn't gotten worse. I've been thinking about adding Cysteamine to my routine and micro needling both cosmetic and medical for melasma and anti-aging. Do you use Dr. Pen? Thank you for another wonderful video!!! Many blessings!!!💖💖💖
I use the Qure system, but I’ve gathered it’s similar to Dr. Pen (I don’t use their serums though, just the heads - because yep, this is my favorite serum to follow with lol!) Thank you for sharing your experiences ☺️
I love the Haruharu Black Rice line. I use the cleansing oil, both soft gel and AHA cleansers that I switch up, the toner, the bakuchiol eye cream since I’m sensitive to retinol, and the sunscreen! I have yet to find and try any of the moisturizer products that work for my mature/sensitive/acne-prone/combination skin. One product that didn’t work well for me was the Probiotics Barrier Essence (milky one), which gave me closed comedones and itchiness. I have this big glass bottle sitting in my towel closet right now but maybe I’ll try it again sometime around winter if my skin changes 😬 Thanks for the education, Ms. Alice!
I love their mineral sunscreen!! Put it on hydrated skin, especially if you’re dry - it’s such a fantastic formula for those with sensitive skin!! Not raved about enough imo
I just ordered the Centella peptide cream from i herb. Actually, I ordered two. Great video. Very helpful, especially the way you describe what is moisturizing, from creams to toners. 🤗 💐
As a combo/oily skin type, the sunscreen is my absolute favorite. Somehow that thick velvety texture just works so good over my skincare and under my makeup. Like a perfect primer. But I do skip moisturizer most mornings because it’s so dual purpose for me.
SPEAKING OF RICE, my absolute HG of all time is the ishizawa lab keana nadeshiko rice pack !!! gotta love that rice-y goodness. it claims to reduce pore size but rly it's just a wash-off mask that immensely hydrates & moisturises my skin & i love to put it in the fridge so it's super soothing when i apply it to freshly washed (still wet) skin ❤❤❤ it rinses off easily & doesnt leave a greasy film🥰 legit barrier repairing goodness & is so helpful for incorporating retinoids / harsher ingredients + it lasts forever, ive been on same pack for almost a month with near-daily use😂
Get out of my walls! I was literally just hunting for any reviews of the new balm, and then, Boom! There you were on my recommended 💕 So thank you once again, for the rescue ✨ Also, couldn’t agree more on the price disparities. It’s makes it so confusing to shop for people who budget… 🙃💸
@@AliceintheRabbitHole That’s why I’ve resorted to the half price offers through the Stylevana emails, BOGO and the private members sales. I just purchase whatever is on sale at the time. Saves me from the agony of spending hours of comparing, and digging for coupon codes…
As an oily skin gal, I use that Haruharu Wonder sunscreen on its own. That's why oily people shouldn't care about the texture of moisturizers, in fact the thicker the better, because the time you should be using moisturizer is at night, because all you should be putting on in the morning is a significant amount of sunscreen. But that's if you're as oily as me.
Hi Alice. I will try out the Haru Haru EGF ampoule and the peptides cream. Nice ingredients list that combines the copper peptides, squalene, caffeine in one cream moisturizer that I would like. 😊 However, the capacity of the cream is so little... Wish they will increase the size... 🎉
I was one of those annoying peeps that might have recommended the Peptide Concentrate Cream more than once. I'm excited to see that your two products are also MY top two! My dry self uses them every day, and I've seen great results. Did you see any affect from the argireline in the cream, Alice? I have seen a major softening of those loverly 11s on my forehead.
I was kinda baffled when you said that Haruharu have only one moisturizer when you reviewed the Black Rice 10 cream, because I knew they have the Peptide Cream too. And then in the end you reviewed the Centella Phyto & 5 Peptide Concentrate Cream too, which is one of my favourites 🥰. But maybe you meant their black rice line has only one moisturizer🤔. Anyway, loooove the Peptide cream 🥰❤. By the way, speaking of face oils, which are your favourite k-beauty ones? Or just one? I know it depends on very much of the user, but I'd still like to know yours 😊. I tried the Haruharu one and it was "mehhh" for me, too lightweight. But I love k-beauty and also like face oils, so I would love to try something new☺️. Thank you for the video and reviews 😊! Always excited to hear your reviews on k-beauty stuff 🤗🤗!
Ah sorry, yes I meant a few years ago! The new addition is SUCH a welcomed addition 😁 It used to be 100% tamanu oil that I was purchasing on YesStyle. Tbh, I found a better option from a local company ($17 for 4 fl oz, tough to beat!!) if you find other oils light, you might like tamanu oil as well…just a heads up on the “celery-like” smell!
@@AliceintheRabbitHole Oh, I couldn't agree more that this new cream was a MUCH needed addition to their product family 😃😊. It's very different than their black rice cream and like you said, they only had one cream, so they needed to give more options to their customers. Especially to us who needs more of a heavier type of cream 😉😃. I've never tried Tamanu oil 🫣, so thank you for the recommendation 🤗😊❤️! I usually dont care for scents in my face stuff, but it's usually those heavy perfume-y type of scents that I can't stand at all, so little celery here or there is hopefully okay-ish 😁😁😁. Thanks for the heads up 'thou, so it doesnt come as a "ewwww, what's this 😳" type of suprise 😁😄😄!
Oh and about tranexamic acid. I really appreciate your and Lab muffins work on this. But my rosacea skin loves tranexamic acid, reducing my redness from broken capillaries. Along with niacinamide, rice , licorice, fermented products, let's just say I have my list of ingredients I look for in my skin care.
Thanks for sharing! I’d say we shouldn’t give up on it completely just yet, but I’d like to hear it recommended for hyperpigmentation *much less* at this point. There’s so many false promises on that topic to begin with. I feel bad for the folks who keep trying these hyped ingredients only to end up disappointed 😔
Yay! Thanks, Alice! Hope your antibiotics are working. I'm in the process of decluttering some too lightweight for me moisturizers to a friend 😁*adds cream to wish list*
Hello Alice!! :) Can I ask you about Centella Phyto & 5 Peptide Concentrate Cream, do you think it's a cream for mature skin over forty or it's for younger ages like you? Thank you! :)
I have also a dry skin and I didn’t like spf cream too, and yes it was because of the cream. I used it on a sea trip and it was perfect to protect me from sun!
Tbh it’s not much makeup, but always on cream eyeshadow from Smashbox and my favorite Joocyee blush (“monochrome matte makeup blusher” on YesStyle; love it so much!!)
I love the sunscreen. Suits my skin the best. Regarding traneximic acid, I think Lab Muffin said it is more effective as an oral dose. She either said topical doses have not been studied well or that the amount used is not sufficient to make a change. I could be wrong !
This video was great Alice! I've been disappointed by the tranexamic acid products I've tried. I used them with the hope of reducing PIE marks. I do much better with the ordinary 10% niacinamide serum so I'm going to stick to that! (normal-oily, acne prone skin, not sensitive)
I actually love wearing the black rice sunscreen over a like mid weight cream, and the stickiness acts as an AMAZING makeup primer ❤ I also just got my centella phyto peptide concentrate cream in the mail and I’m so excited to try it 👏🏼
@@AliceintheRabbitHole yessss lol. Also I know you don’t test out makeup a ton. But idk many Asian beauty creators with my skin type. Would you consider trying out the too cool for school artclass watery blur primer? I’ve heard it’s great for dry skin but haven’t seen anyone actually use it who has dry skin 🩵
Hi Alice! I remember you comparing the Numbuzin Cica cream to the Omega cream water from Biossance as well. Which one between the Numbuzin and the Hauharu Wonder do you think compares the most to that one? (dry skin gal over here, I love all the thick moisturizers but def not wanting to spend that much money on the Biossance one hehe)
Ahhh I wish I hadn’t finished that so I could directly compare it (couldn’t help myself though; I love my heavy creams and use them UP lol!!) From memory, I think they are similar in feel, with a bit of a different approach in the ingredients list. Hope that helps!
Hi can u please recommend any discoloration correcting product that can be used daily while using adaplene and azelaic acid 20% for pih due to acne? I made my mind to try this 4% niacinamide product but after your review I Don't wanna try it 😅
The fragrance free rice toner has been a HG for me! I kindof dislike that term but I truly always go back to this one, especially if I try something else that disappoints. I just recently tried the airy fit sunscreen and been loving that too!
I also have dry, sensitive and acne prone skin,, so Im curious wheter you prefer mary & may or haru haru as moisturizer. Im also frustated at the fact that Haru Haru is only 30mg 💀 but it seems perfect to combine with the new Haru haru Probiotic Barrier Essence.. but im also looking at skin1004 probiotic ampoule.. so overwhelming..
Do you think the Centella Phyto & 5 Peptide Concentrate Cream would make a good eye cream. I love the texture of the Heimish eye cream but I feel like my eyes don’t always get along well with the fragrance.
Alice, do you have any content on Allies of Skin? It’s not k-beauty pricing but based in Singapore if that’s convincing. Any plans to try? Get well soon.
Bless Lab Muffin! I just received her book. I highly recommend. I like Haruharu. It’s a good for my dehydrated skin. The heavier cleansing oil is a great morning oil. I message my skin to gently remove dry skin , stimulate circulation and massage any milia and sebaceous filaments. I do a two step cleanse morning and night. I hand out Korean sunscreen all the time as well. 😂
lol I got the sunscreen w the summer box last year and when u said about the sticky I sent to my son w oily skin. silly me I should have tried it. Yet I’m excited my 23 yr old is protecting his skin! While my 22 yr old sun bunny is burning hers up in the soccer field!!! 😤😡🤬grrr what does mom know. Great video. U know I love the 2gf. I just found out it’s good to use before red light. My night routine. Silly question any thoughts on a short video on where to sneak in a face mask? I never use cuz I don’t know if that takes place of serum etc. so morning or night. So I never do them. I know may seem duh
What kind of face mask, like a sheet mask? I do it in the toner/essence step ☺️ I saw someone post about sun sticks to Reddit the other day: all they did was 2 swipes of it on their tattoo and lo and behind - it protected it! (Sadly they had a sunburn elsewhere!!) I’m still trying to figure out what to do with this surprising anecdote haha
@@AliceintheRabbitHole yeah just plain old sheet mask w essence in them ok. Duh…There are NO rules in skincare! So I will do that then do all my other goodies. Thanks lady.
I love this brand! I have used the cleansing oil, cleanser, toner, essence, facial oil, mist, and hand cream. I actually really liked the essence for my skin. I have combination skin that is acne prone and it worked. I prob would have loved the facial oil more if I had more dry skin. Overall, it’s a good brand.
I love Haru Haru as a brand and used many of their stuff. The TXA 4% serum and the mineral and chemical sunscreens are my faves which I have gone through multiples off. I also liked the fragrance free version of the toner and the gel cleanser. I have not tried the other things but do want to try a moisturiser especially that peptide one, and also the cleansing oil and cleansing balm.
I've never tried Haruharu Wonder. Between their use of fragrance, love of hyaluronic acid, and price point I've never seen a product that looks right for me. Maybe one day.
Exfoliant formulated in orange water is a strange choice, surprised your overall take was that it didn't do much! I expected to hear about irritation. As a fellow acne prone person, I also find gentle active formulations just don't do enough. It's sage advice to seek out skin types in reviews for those products specifically. 🙌
The yellow sunscreen is a household HG! I don’t have sensitive skin but the HaruHaru scented moisturizer and toner got me. I used TranAcid for a year via Curology and it did nothing.
I gave that stick balm to my 2 year old to play with 😂 She loves playing with balms or glosses but ends up full greasy after only 5 minutes. With the haruharu she can play with it for 20 minutes and still be okay because the balm just doesn't melt. Useless but fun for her I guess haha
Hello Alice, I have never bought anything from Haru Haru Wonder is not a brand that I am passionate about because I don't find it special, I think it has basic products, except for the Egf serum. I also watched the Lab Muffin video and I found the video in which she explained that tranexamic acid does not seem to work topically (she is very talented at explaining) very interesting and it opened my eyes, so it became clear to me that it is better to look for another type of depigmenting. I don't understand why so many Korean depigmentants have tranexamic acid 🤔 And regarding toner I prefer creamy ones like the rice one from Thank you farmer. And I haven't tried that cream, but my strategy is to look at the ingredients list of the moisturizers that I find interesting and use them as I would use a lotion to get all the benefits of the moisturizer and then apply a heavier cream on top for my dry skin now. In winter it is terribly cold. A hug Alice and I love your videos ranking products from a single brand 🥰
Yes, same thoughts for me. It’s an ingredient that we started to see everywhere-but with so little evidence!? (Then to hear about the unpublished studies, oof!) So disappointing. Hopefully we can find more ingredients that actually work; hyperpigmentation has to be one of the most frustrating skin concerns!!
There is a depigmenting serum that I want to try, it is the Nineless brand and it is kojic acid and I have not seen another serum with kojic acid in k-beuty. I hope you know that there are other options, although I don't understand why they put 10% niacinamide in the formula. A big hug and the azelaic acid serum is another very good option and they are very cheap 🥰
I just started using the haruharu dark spot serum because i've been blessed with 6 painful bumps on my chin which left scars. Can you suggest a stronger dark spot serum? I'm so depressed 😔 because of the scars.😢😢😢😢😢
I hear ya. This is exactly why I dislike the claims without evidence: spots are FRUSTRATING! 😩 If PIE, you might be able to get away with that product, maybe some azelaic acid, gentler products in general. PIH or more stubborn spots are harder to treat. I’d say something like the Qure microinfusion or Dr. Pen might be the best approach, and tbh I still default back to that (Qure’s) when I have a stubborn spot. Hope that helps!!
Aw i just bought haruharu txa serum because people wouldn't stop praising anua 10% niacinamide & 4% txa serum. I chose haruharu because anua might be too harsh for me. But oh well, I guess I'll use it for it's niacinamide properties for my acne marks.
Aw I was hoping there'd be a review of their AHA cleanser in here! I can't find a review of it anywhere. I'm curious about if it's gentle enough to use daily/twice daily and if it the AHA would interact with other actives or if you don't have to worry about it since you wash it off. I even emailed Haruharu Wonder! Has anyone seen a review or tried it themselves?
I would suspect it’s not very strong just because I haven’t yet run into a super strong AHA cleanser (just seems to be their nature). I do wish brands were more clear about this very question though!
By the way-sulwhasoo changed prices on gingsen renewing serum. Last month bought set of 6 samples for 25.09£,now it’s… 229.41 😮 shame I haven’t stocked them up 😢😢😢
I’d say it’s more likely the percent? They advertise 3% which…that level is low for that purpose (studies use it between 10-20, and even then its size makes it’s a different kind of exfoliant)
Personally, I think we also have to look at our needs and goals when determining if something "works". Tranexamic acid may not work or have evidence of working on hyperpigmentation, melasma, etc, but there is evidence it has anti-inflammation properties helpful for reducing redness. So if you have rosacea, it may be your HG and "work" like a dream. Of course, there are a lot more people out there with hyperpigmentation vs rosacea so who are they going to market to? 🤔 😉
What's up with the price of 2GF ampoule? I bought it in January on YS for 22,30€ and now the regular price is 60, and discounted 42€. Not ok Haruharu, not ok.🤬
Mmhmm. It’s been like this for at least a year. It goes WAY up and then drops to a reasonable price. I’m used to k-beauty fluctuating by $5-10, but that serum can’t decide if it’s Estée Lauder or Neutrogena pricing lol
Love so many HHW Products!!! Sunscreen of course!!! Best sunscreen of all time!!!! All day everyday!!! Fav Cleansing oil eye cream & moisturizer are okay oh they have a cleansing balm!!!! I’ve given the sunscreen to sooooo many friends and family and every one of them loves it says it’s the best ever!
Honestly I'm just as "meh" about eh centella exfoliating toner - and I just noticed I went through almost an entire bottle of it. The reason is probably that I never took into account that I use cotton pads to remove my make-up several times a week, with the Bioderma micellar water. That is probably more exfoliation than this toner could possibly provide and it's just covering up its effects entirely. I think similar things can happen when we add a product that for example is specifically focusing on niacinamide - someone might already have so much niacinamide in the rest of their products, without knowing, that they don't even get much out of an additional niacinamide-focused product (I experienced exactly that with the Axis Y dark spots serum!) - I can see why people would feel "scammed" then, even though it's just our own obsession with using too many products sometimes hahah. At least I'm having a good time, so it's still worth it for that alone!
I guess I am one of those few people who dont enjoy their sunscreen and I am oily. I wanted to try their brighting serum but now I am not sure because of the tranexamic acid. I still read good reviews about it. Currently I stick with numbuzin for almost my entire routine. I dont find anything to exciting with haru haru
I’ve actually tried some of those products! A long time ago now though (and J-Beauty, funny enough!) I did like them…well. The effect moreso than overthinking them hahaha

Thanks for sharing!!
Please review their new essence and compare them to Rhode milky essence and Dr Ceuracle Vegan Kombucha Tea Essence pleaseeee
I just ordered the Centella peptide cream from i herb. Actually, I ordered two. Great video. Very helpful, especially the way you describe what is moisturizing, from creams to toners. 🤗 💐
Thank you! OMG I'm so tired of people saying no published research means something can't have potential.
Thank you for updated video on this brand :0)
🥰🥰
Absolutely gorgeous! I'd love to try it out😍
Excited for this review! Thanks Alice 😊
The unscented black rice toner is a holy grail of mine. I want to try the different sunscreens.
Your makeup looks beautiful. Have a wonderful week ❌️ ⭕️
Thank you! Hope you have a great week too 🥰
As a combo/oily skin type, the sunscreen is my absolute favorite. Somehow that thick velvety texture just works so good over my skincare and under my makeup. Like a perfect primer. But I do skip moisturizer most mornings because it’s so dual purpose for me.
I love Haruharu. The airyfit sunscreen is my fave, along with the gel cleanser. Must haves in any skincare collection! ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for sharing!
Oh that sounds so lovely! Thank you for sharing ☺️
Get out of my walls! I was literally just hunting for any reviews of the new balm, and then, Boom! There you were on my recommended 💕 So thank you once again, for the rescue ✨
Also, couldn’t agree more on the price disparities. It’s makes it so confusing to shop for people who budget… 🙃💸
One day a product is $10, the next $30, and I’m over here going…that’s a lot of soup. These price differences are so many cans of soup!! 😩
@@AliceintheRabbitHole That’s why I’ve resorted to the half price offers through the Stylevana emails, BOGO and the private members sales. I just purchase whatever is on sale at the time. Saves me from the agony of spending hours of comparing, and digging for coupon codes…
I love the Airy Fit sunscreen! I use it on my 56 year old skin as my moisturizer and sunscreen.
Thanks for sharing!
HaruHaru has such good products!!! I want to try more. Wait a new cleansing balm?$? Waitttttt
Hi Alice. I will try out the Haru Haru EGF ampoule and the peptides cream. Nice ingredients list that combines the copper peptides, squalene, caffeine in one cream moisturizer that I would like. 😊 However, the capacity of the cream is so little... Wish they will increase the size... 🎉
Same. I’d really like to see a jumbo option!
Gah! You can’t tease us like that. Now I gotta wait for your Sulwhasoo re-review 😅
I should’ve waited just a few more hours to place my Yestyle order! Alas… *starts a new cart* 😂
🤣😁
The new addition is SUCH a welcomed addition 😁
It used to be 100% tamanu oil that I was purchasing on YesStyle.
@@AliceintheRabbitHoletotally agree
Yay! Thanks, Alice! Hope your antibiotics are working. I'm in the process of decluttering some too lightweight for me moisturizers to a friend 😁*adds cream to wish list*
I know the feeling so well lol!!
The sunscreen unfortunately did not work for me which sucks because the texture is so lovely. It stung my face and pilled horribly on bare skin.
Hello Alice!! :) Can I ask you about Centella Phyto & 5 Peptide Concentrate Cream, do you think it's a cream for mature skin over forty or it's for younger ages like you? Thank you! :)
good video 😸 i’ve been loving the cleansing oil from them recently, hope you’ve been doing well 🩷
Thank you! Yes the cleansing oil is wonderful 🤩
I have also a dry skin and I didn’t like spf cream too, and yes it was because of the cream. I used it on a sea trip and it was perfect to protect me from sun!
Thanks for this. I haven't tried any of this brand...yet. this was useful. Please what make up are you wearing? Looks gorgeous.
Tbh it’s not much makeup, but always on cream eyeshadow from Smashbox and my favorite Joocyee blush (“monochrome matte makeup blusher” on YesStyle; love it so much!!)
@@AliceintheRabbitHole thanks for the info. I'll check them out.xx you always look superb. I'm watching from the uk.
I love the sunscreen. Suits my skin the best. Regarding traneximic acid, I think Lab Muffin said it is more effective as an oral dose. She either said topical doses have not been studied well or that the amount used is not sufficient to make a change. I could be wrong !
Yep, it’s a sad case of understudied and overpromised (at this point at least!) 😞
This video was great Alice! I've been disappointed by the tranexamic acid products I've tried. I used them with the hope of reducing PIE marks. I do much better with the ordinary 10% niacinamide serum so I'm going to stick to that! (normal-oily, acne prone skin, not sensitive)
Smart plan!
I actually love wearing the black rice sunscreen over a like mid weight cream, and the stickiness acts as an AMAZING makeup primer ❤ I also just got my centella phyto peptide concentrate cream in the mail and I’m so excited to try it 👏🏼
Haha true, I actually did try that out intentionally as well. milk makeup who? 🤣😂
Ooooh theirs SPF is A DREAM 😍 I actually use it over heavy cream or light crem and it works really well for me on both!
I appreciate your reviews so much!
Always love ur video ❤
Thank you! ☺️
On a side note I am really loving the new ILIA milky toner it’s perfect for my daily “moisturizer” after my Numbuzin vitamin c serum and toner #5’s
Thank you for sharing! Yeah I am the same with it - I feel it’s fitting in best after serums
Love your sweatshirt ❤❤
Thank you ☺️
Hey Alice, so happy to see you back ❤ wouldn't you say 10 ppm is actually kind of zero?..
It really depends on the ingredient in question!
Ahhh I wish I hadn’t finished that so I could directly compare it (couldn’t help myself though; I love my heavy creams and use them UP lol!!)
From memory, I think they are similar in feel, with a bit of a different approach in the ingredients list. Hope that helps!
@@AliceintheRabbitHole Thank you😍
Hi can u please recommend any discoloration correcting product that can be used daily while using adaplene and azelaic acid 20% for pih due to acne? I made my mind to try this 4% niacinamide product but after your review I Don't wanna try it 😅
The fragrance free rice toner has been a HG for me! I kindof dislike that term but I truly always go back to this one, especially if I try something else that disappoints. I just recently tried the airy fit sunscreen and been loving that too!
I have not tried a lot of Haruharu. I love the sunscreen and the eye cream. Especially for daytime.
The eye cream is so nice under makeup!
How was your experience with isntree booster shot 2000? Did it work well for you?
I also have dry, sensitive and acne prone skin,, so Im curious wheter you prefer mary & may or haru haru as moisturizer. Im also frustated at the fact that Haru Haru is only 30mg 💀 but it seems perfect to combine with the new Haru haru Probiotic Barrier Essence.. but im also looking at skin1004 probiotic ampoule.. so overwhelming..
Yay new video 🥰🥰
i got labmuffins book and i love it!!
Do you think the Centella Phyto & 5 Peptide Concentrate Cream would make a good eye cream. I love the texture of the Heimish eye cream but I feel like my eyes don’t always get along well with the fragrance.
It’s heavy so I might approach with caution if you’re prone to milia. Otherwise, I don’t see why not! ☺️
Hey love your video ❤
Have you tried goodal rice milk toner? How is it in dry skin??
I haven’t unfortunately 😔
@@AliceintheRabbitHole Plz get your hands on it and share your thoughts ❤️💞
Alice, do you have any content on Allies of Skin? It’s not k-beauty pricing but based in Singapore if that’s convincing. Any plans to try? Get well soon.
Somehow I don’t! I did try out a serum from them a while ago, and I did enjoy it. Would love to try more if there is interest ☺️
@@AliceintheRabbitHole They’re launching a new copper peptide blue super serum soon and their growth factor serum says restocking next month.
It’s impossible not to share these sunscreens lol! Just hearing, “omg, I had no idea sunscreen could feel so nice!!” - worth it for that alone!!
@@AliceintheRabbitHole Right ?!
lol I got the sunscreen w the summer box last year and when u said about the sticky I sent to my son w oily skin. silly me I should have tried it.
I do it in the toner/essence step ☺️
I saw someone post about sun sticks to Reddit the other day: all they did was 2 swipes of it on their tattoo and lo and behind - it protected it! (Sadly they had a sunburn elsewhere!!) I’m still trying to figure out what to do with this surprising anecdote haha
@@AliceintheRabbitHole that is hysterical. We know their priorities.
Have you seen a difference in your skin with the serum? I feel like it’s still nice overall, whether that’s due to the TXA ingredient or not haha
Do u still like the round lab birch cleanser?
The Haruharu Airy sunscreen is my favorite SPF!
Did I miss the Haru Haru Probiotic Toner? Hmm..will watch again
I've never tried Haruharu Wonder. Between their use of fragrance, love of hyaluronic acid, and price point I've never seen a product that looks right for me. Maybe one day.
I’m hoping they stay in their newer/more interesting direction haha!
Right. It just doesn’t seem like a great base for the product. Maybe they’ll revisit that product and improve it in the future 🤔
The yellow sunscreen is a household HG! I don’t have sensitive skin but the HaruHaru scented moisturizer and toner got me. I used TranAcid for a year via Curology and it did nothing.
Is that last cream occlusive?
If PIE, you might be able to get away with that product, maybe some azelaic acid, gentler products in general.
Last month bought set of 6 samples for 25.09£,now it’s… 229.41 😮 shame I haven’t stocked them up 😢😢😢
Oh NOOOO.
I’ve been so scared that “hack” would one day vanish. Nooooo!!!
@@AliceintheRabbitHole exactly. Was to good to be true 😭😭😭 Probably need to buy some extra cream while not happened the same…
I think the most correct way to report negative results is: we did not find evidence of this ingredient having an effect…
could u try testing the ph of the exfoliator? im curious if it's ineffective due to the ph being too high🤔
I’d say it’s more likely the percent? They advertise 3% which…that level is low for that purpose (studies use it between 10-20, and even then its size makes it’s a different kind of exfoliant)
The sunscreen is my new favorite and I have dry skin and I put it over a thick moisturizer but it makes the best primer for makeup as well
Do u reapply over makeup?
@@s.a.m2124have not tried it that way
Thanks for sharing!
Axis-Y also has a similar eye cream. The bottles are similar. I am not sure if the ingredients are similar, though.
Oh interesting! I love their eye serum haha, will have to look for the cream ☺️
Well said. I would like to see more clarity in what ingredients do and who they are for!
I love the 2GF Ampoule
It’s so good
I love the sunscreen but I wish it didn't smell like Cheez Whiz! I use it in place of moisturizer and it's perfect.
Oh noooo!! I’m going to have to see if I notice this…very specific smell 🤣
The concentrations of actives (EGF and peptides) are ridiculously low in these products.
Do you have a list of your favorite indie brand and indie brand oil/products?
I really should! But tbh..I moved into buying my own Tamanu oil (found my favorite!)
Stratias fortify is another really good option though ☺️
Love so many HHW Products!!! Sunscreen of course!!! Best sunscreen of all time!!!! All day everyday!!! Fav Cleansing oil eye cream & moisturizer are okay oh they have a cleansing balm!!!! I’ve given the sunscreen to sooooo many friends and family and every one of them loves it says it’s the best ever!
Where can I find Michelle wongs video
Lab Muffin Beauty Science! I can’t remember which video it was exactly, but her entire channel is a gem
YES. Oh goodness yes, I think about this all the time. Redundancy in skincare: I suspect it’s a REAL problem.
Have you heard anything about salmon DNA serums?
I’ve actually tried some of those products! A long time ago now though (and J-Beauty, funny enough!) I did like them…well. The effect moreso than overthinking them hahaha
