Malaysia Pond 2.0 - Recreation Swim Pond Build Australia 2019

Getting certified as a Aquascape Contractor took me to Melbourne, Australia for my hands-on training with Ben of Ben Harris Gardens. Kindly arranged by Patrick Handley of Aquascape Australia, it was a whirlwind tour of visiting ponds, water gardens and back to back installs for 3 Aquascape Ecosystem Ponds in 3 plus weeks.
This Recreation Swim Pond took 10 days to install and it was the last project of my time there. Please excuse my lack of footage in it as I didn't know then about A rolls, B rolls, panning and such.

Hi Jack! Is it realistic or practical for swim pond in Malaysia? Just thinking about algae blooms and also how much space would we need to comfortably build one.

Hi! Yes, definitely. Same as anywhere else in Asia ie. Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and even the Middle East such as Dubai and UAE, using the Aquascape Wetland filtration system.
Depending on conditions and source of water, expect a burst of life with algae and even green water upon completion but will eventually be crystal clear after swim pond water has stabilised with added beneficial bacteria and matured aquatic plants in wetlands.
