Convenient and Economical. The Carr HOPP II-XP3 is a convenient and economical way to add a durable side step on your 2007 to 2017 Wrangler JK. This powder-coated step is more convenient because it offers 10-inches of stepping surface without ruining the hardcore vibe of your Jeep. This kit is also more economical than installing an expensive and heavy set ofstep rails or full-length steel bars.
Strong Aluminum Alloy. The Carr HOOP II-XP3 Steps are made from heavy-duty die-cast aluminum alloy. This material is lighter than your average steel bar but it retains the same level of durability and toughness. The kit is finished in a textured black powder coat to better resist corrosion and wear. The sleek and lightweight design offers a non-slip thread to offer better footing in any type of weather condition or terrain.
Minor Drilling Required. The Carr HOOP II-XP3 comes with the necessary mounting brackets to facilitate the install. You will need to do some minor drilling to firmly attach the steps to the body of your Jeep. After drilling the necessary holes, the steps install easily by bolting the brackets in place.

He should have measured 4 times look at 3:48 ,hes got 3 extra holes!!! How Jankie!
He doesn't mention that you have to assemble them, mark the holes, drill the holes, dissemble them, mount the brackets, then attach the hoops. The directions included with the steps don't address this either

They will definitely get damaged on any serious trail, they are better ones out there at actually comes off when you’re off road.
would these work with the Smittybilt Rock Crawler Rocker Guards ?
will they work on a Rubicon with stock rock rails?
Yes it will but just remove the stock Rubicon Rails first, install the step, and then the rails should fit on the pinch seam over top of it. Thank you for asking! -Brian
