I thinks New Mexico/Albuquerque is more realistic for MLS expansion than Virginia or Vegas. there are no professional sports teams and i think new mexico is the state with the highest amount of people calling soccer their favorite sports (especially because many Mexicans live there and as we know mexico is a soccer only nation). They already have a team in the second division of MLS (USL) which for a 2nd division team is pretty good supported. So for me for a new expansion New Mexico would make sense.

Nashville and Salt Lake City for MLB. Don't think Astros or Rangers would want a team in either San Antonio or Austin. My understanding is SLC already has the ownership group, the site of the ballpark, the funding for the ballpark, and the $2B expansion fee all ready to go if they are granted an expansion franchise. Rays get a new ballpark in one of St. Pete's, Tampa, or Orlando.

The Atlanta Thrashers already failed as an expansion franchise in the NHL, the team resides in Winnipeg, Manitoba. There are simply not enough hockey fans in "Hot-lanta." The Calgary Flames former home was also in Atlanta. The NHL Wildcard team: Milwaukee Shamrocks. Both Miami and Tampa Bay love their hockey. I like the idea of San Antonio receiving an NFL team, to somehow break up the Cowboys dynasty fandom. The NFL's Wildcard team: Saint Louis Archers. MLB is expanding to Nashville, it's a matter of time... Also, add Portland (OR) Foresters. Why not the NBA to Las Vegas? Call the franchise the Ramblers or the Quicksilver, cool! And add the Cincinnati Barons as for good kicks as a Wildcard team. Lastly, how about return of the the Buffalo Stampede and the Carolina (Raleigh) Fury in the Eastern Conference, and the Phoenix Rising and the Sacramento Capitals in the Western Conference?

When it comes to MLS expanding to Vegas, I think the team would share Allegiant Stadium with the Raiders for a couple of reasons: One is the roof which would allow matches to be played in the afternoon away from the summer heat. If a soccer specific stadium was built (especially one without a retractable roof), matches would likely have to be played at 8:00 at night in order to avoid the summer heat. The other is that Allegiant has already proven that it can host soccer as it has hosted a Gold Cup Final between the US & Mexico, the recent Nations League final four & multiple preseason exhibition matches involving European clubs (which include the likes of Real Madrid & Barcelona).

Only thing I would say with Vegas is that dual use stadiums make MLS teams look really bad cuz there is so much open space, watch a Whitecaps game at BC Place you'd see what I mean, there is usually over 16k there that would look amazing in a Stadium similar to BMO and Saputo but it looks small because of the stadium size

MLB: A’s move to Las Vegas, Rays coin toss either new ballpark in Tampa area or move to Orlando, Nashville & Salt Lake or Portland are club # 31 & 32. NFL: only teams at risk of relocating are the Chargers or Jaguars. NBA: Seattle & Las Vegas will get team 31 & 32 just a matter of when but Las Vegas will play at T-Mobile Arena not a new one. Only relocation possible is New Orleans if they do St. Louis, KC or Louisville would be perfect. NHL: Arizona to Houston, KC or Quebec City. Interesting video, thanks for sharing that. I'm more of a basketball fan so I'll be focusing on the NBA side. You mentioned that there will be 2 new teams that will have their debut soon. Las Vegas is a huge possibility, that it's one of the most famous cities in the US. My speculation would probably they'll be buying one of the current teams that might be broke soon. And you also mentioned that they have a huge arena that hosting a basketball game is no problem for them.
As for Seattle, I'm not sure about that but then again look at Charlotte, they sold their team to New Orleans and then they build a new team not buy back the old one. You said that New Orleans is having some financial problems that they couldn't support the team in the future, well the best bet would be selling it to Las Vegas, Nevada or in your case Louisville, Kentucky.

First point, I've lived in Oregon for the past 22 years. But, I lived in Washington for 14 1/2 years growing up. That's where I lived when I got into sports. So, that's where my sports loyalties are!!!
Second point, I think 32 is the ideal number for pro leagues here in the USA/Canada. With that, I think the NFL and NHL are done expanding. From what I see online, Seattle and Vegas are the top 2 choices for NBA expansion. Seattle I agree with 100%! That is the only Seattle team I've been a fan of my whole life, even though now I'm a fan of all of them. The Thunder are not the Sonics! The Blazers are not the Sonics! I am loyal baby!!!!
MLB-I think the A's will move to Vegas. And, the Rays to Nashville. I've heard some rumors about Portland, Oregon getting a team. I think that would be great! Give the Mariners a closer opponent. And then, I saw Charlotte as a possibility.
For MLS-San Diego is #30, we know that. I think Vegas and Sacramento could be 31 and 32.
I could be way wrong on all of these. But, if Seattle got the Sonics back and Vegas gets all their expansion teams, that would make 13 cities in the USA and Canada with a team in all 5 pro sports:NFL/CFL; NBA; NHL; MLS; MLB
They would be: Seattle; Toronto; Washington DC; Minneapolis; Denver; Dallas; Philly; Boston; Chicago; Miami; Vegas; LA; and NY

If the A’s cannot play in Las Vegas before their new ballpark is built cause they want to avoid playing in a minor league ballpark (located in the Las Vegas suburbs) with no roof & the AAA team is already playing there, I heard rumors that they could play in Sacramento, CA from 2025 season till 2027 (or when their new Las Vegas ballpark is finished). This could be a good testing ground for MLB if Sacramento could be a good candidate for MLB expansion.

NFL wants the CFL to survive so pro football is played across Canada. Argos have trouble drawing fans to games, but lots of Canadians watch the games on TV (TSN). Even so, if the Argos disappear, could be a death blow to the league. Many years ago, the NFL helped keep the CFL alive by providing needed funding. Also, some CFL players do get tryouts and even make NFL teams after playing a while in the CFL, particularly QBs (Warren Moon, Doug Flutie, Jeff Garcia. etc.).

As for the NHL, Gary Bettman hates Canada. I think they'd go for another warm weather city instead.

Gotta disagree with you on the MLB and NFL ones. San Antonio over Portland makes little sense since their AAA team got demoted to AA due to their facilities not being up to snuff. If they can't support a AAA team with a decent building or fan turn out (they ranked 12th out of 16 for attendance in the PCL, and 5th out of 10 in the TL), what makes you think they'll support an MLB franchise? Portland makes more sense geographically (Seattle's kinda out there by itself, closest teams geographically are Colorado and LA who are over 1000 miles away each)since there's already a rivalry in place due to the MLS (Timbers/Sounders). Factor in that Portland has an ownership group ready to go (just like Nashville), and it makes WAY more sense to hit the rather neglected Pacific Northwest region. If there's ANY league in need of new blood right now, it's MLB.
The NFL going to Austin faces a different problem, no stadium. If need be, San Antonio can host an NFL team RIGHT NOW (basically why the city of Jacksonville needs to be careful with the Jaguars stay in likely Orlando for those renovations). While the Alamodome isn't suitable long term, it'd be a decent stopgap while the new building is being constructed. Also factor in that there is quite a bit of political will for an NFL team there, as they've been pushing for one since the 70's, meaning public money for a new stadium would come rather easily. Austin has a bright future, I'm not arguing that, but it's not here yet. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if the MLB starts sniffing around there in 20 years or so, or the NHL in about 10 years.
Love the video overall, I just disagree with 2 of your picks.

NHL: Assuming the Coyotes stay in Arizona...The NHL will not expand next round to 2 East Coast cities. The league is already weighted to the east and wanted more east-west balance. I agree with Quebec as the eastern expansion and I would say Houston, Kansas City or Salt Lake is next.
MLB: Assuming Rays stay in Florida...I think Nashville has all of the momentum. Seattle is an isolated market in the league...I think to give them a rival, it's either Portland or Salt Lake here. Austin/San Antonio is undeniably a market to consider too.
NBA: Assuming Pelicans stay in the Big Easy. Seattle hands down is next expansion. Adam Silver has implied it. They have a nice arena now and the SuperSonics brand stayed with the city. I think Kansas City or St. Louis is the other.
NFL: Agreed it's a no-brainer on Toronto. San Antonio/Austin makes too much sense. Portland is another great choice. A darkhorse is Oklahoma City. A bigger city than most realize and growing.
MLS: I don't think MLS would come to Las Vegas with all of the other teams...too much...I doubt it can support. I like the argument for Virginia in either Virginia Beach or Norfolk. The MLS likes their regional rivalry cups so my idea is Sacramento (paired with San Jose), Pittsburgh (paired with Philly) or OKC (paired with Dallas for a different kind of Red River rivalry). Surprised that Phoenix isn't talked about here either. El Paso/Albuquerque is intriguing.

I can tell you in one word why the NFL wouldn’t work in Austin: Longhorns
The Texas Longhorns, especially their football team, are such an institution in Austin that I don’t see how the NFL can compete there, especially when their stadium seats over 100,000.
The NFL would be much better off in San Antonio, which while it has a big university (UTSA), it’s not as much of an institution as UT Austin, Texas A&M, etc. Plus there’s already the Alamodome, which despite its age, can easily be renovated to attract an expansion team instead of building a whole new multi billion dollar stadium on the outskirts of Austin.
I think a better argument could be made for the MLB in Austin instead of the NFL tbh. Hell you could even call them the Austin Outlaws or something along those lines.
