What's great about kids is that they are so young that they have no knowledge of boundaries. Everything is possible. They haven't been taught yet to consider failure.
I asked a guitar teacher I know how young is an ideal age for a kid to start learning guitar. He thought 10-12 is a good age…instead of the 40-ish I was at the time. His reasoning was that kids that age don’t realize how difficult playing guitar is. And that’s probably why I gave up and didn’t try again until I was 65.

It gives me hope, every generation raises the standard, the problem has always been that so many guitarists start off wanting to be soloist, but then never advance from that, it becomes their instant gratification, but as impressive as good chops may be, composing is the end game, and a relatively small group will say to themselves, I have all these chops and nothing to play them, in my case , after 40 years of MIDI composing, solo guitar just isn’t that interesting to me anymore, or when I do a guitar part, it’s intended to be integral to the arrangement, melodic! But this young man has time to mature, and hopefully realize a few things!

To get to that level it took me 6 band break ups, got back together 6 times, we went through 12 drummers, the farewell tour is on its tenth year, 8 farewell albums, 5 sex tapes, 3 therapists, a highly publicized affair with my sex therapist, 4 marriages, 4 divorces, 20 supermodel girlfriends, 8 kids I know of, 7 don’t talk to me, can’t find the other one after I realized I can’t remember the 70’s, the bass player came out, the bass player changed pronouns 126 times, swapped the bourbon on stage to tea then swapped it back again, gave up smoking 6 times rehab 11 times, gave up on going to rehab alcohol, smoking and drugs are cheaper, feel asleep on stage 8 times, feel off the stage 8 times, 12 signature guitars from 12 different companies but only play my vintage stuff, got fat, got fatter, went bald, starting wearing wigs, getting plastic surgery before plastic was invented, can’t recognize myself in my TH-cam Parodies, can’t remember if I turn the oven off, our reality show flopped after they found out we were miming, my last wife changed to a male activist, started a talk back show for misunderstood sound engineers, 3 fund me campaigns for tambourine players, drummers that sing and that dude that runs out to tighten up the mic stand. That low tempo remix, tho! Loved it! :D
I think , like the way babies learn to talk and language, I think that maybe the boy learns the guitar the same way, so when he hears a note , he knows exactly where it's playd at on the neck so when he hears a lick/song he instinctively knows how the sequence and where it's playd , and his memory, ill bet is off the charts
Now we are all broke because some TikTok dancer brought all the rights to our music.
Yeah wishing that kid all the best from the bottom of my heart. Hang on had a heart transplant as well, so all the best kid from who ever I am.
Me too!
as if you could ever do that ... EVER
This little dude sounds really good, and he's having fun, good on him.
❤❤❤❤❤thank you very much❤❤❤
Does the classical guitar fingerboard have to be so wide? I'am a senior male and have small hands, and it's a definite disadvantage.
Remarkable young man❤ He'll go far....
Tyler creates AI child prodigy video breakdown to give himself a 👍 for Guitar Super System. Seriously love the channel and all you do brother!
Respect to the parent/guardian's who support their child's interest.
GUITAR IS NOT A COMPETITION. This kid already won forever.
Bold of you to assume I know my shapes sir 😤
Astounding indeed! Nice breakdown
Bro he’s very talented boy, humble he doesn’t even know how brilliant he is man..amazing😊😊😊
He looks happy. I hope he continues to get that feeling.
Fuck it, I’m quitting the guitar! I started playing in high school back in 94’ and within about a year I was at the level of Mike McCready I would say but then everything just fucking stopped. It was so frustrating and I felt like I was just banging my head against the wall for years trying to escape my guitar purgatory. Anyone else gone through that?
He's truly blessed 🙌
I just can’t believe he can have that hand strength and precision at that age!
Thank you! This was the same thing i also thought! That is the real impressive part, is the ability at this age with his small hands and lesser hand strength!
I follow this little dude. He does a Jason becker tribute that will blow your mind, while i might add, goofing with a friend during the whole song, a must see!
After 40 years of playing and playing in many bands, I'm hanging up the axe. Its clearly I'm still at the beginner level.
Okay, I've got 20 guitars and 7 amps all going cheap, I won't be needing them anymore.
That short riff started to sound familiar. Someone help me out here. Anyway, why would someone be hating on this kid. As a metalhead myself, I was blown away. Kid's got the fingers of Yngwie Malmsteen!
Wow tried to play for years and I believe my finger are dyslexic. He impressed me!
That kid is awesome. I love it. I hope I see this kid do something great in music in the next 15 years.
I was waiting for you to cover this kid
Amazing mind blowing boy God gifted oh my goodness, hoping the best
I'd like to see him play the riff in Washington Is Next; the one where you stretch from fret 12 to 24, while doing continuous hammer ons/pull offs.
Nothing makes me want to quit guitar, I like having fun with my guitar and it makes me happy. :)
Yes This!
Well said. The best comment on this video.
The most ridiculous comment is "Makes me want to give up" None of the most successful guitarists in history ever played as fast as this. Should they have given up? Music is'nt an olympic sport.
I wonder if there's ever been a prodigy like this that was like so good and then he was just like no it's not for me and just walked away
This kid is actually born to play guitar very genius God Gifted keep it up quite amazing !
Asian parents are very nurturing. When i was 8 i asked my father for a guitar and he just waved his hand in my face.
Amazing!
How old is Marcin?
He seems like one of the greatest players I've seen.
People are like “eh not impressive you have to play with feel” bruh go look at all his other videos before you say something like that. This kid has so much range in his ability
When I first saw this kid I thought “ this is AI generated, there’s no way a little kid can play like that”. After seeing more of his videos the reality is...he’s for real! Just mind blowing. Bravo young man!
Nice video. Your expressions made me laugh. I needed it, thanks!
Awesome prodigy! The analysis was helpful except there was constant uncertainty whether a 7th was being used. The fingerings seems like triads, but the dialog and chords implied 7ths.
My guitar fell on me while watching this. I think it's mad.
I always get emotional listening to this little boy play guitar
