Police blocked all the roads to the cbd ,no psv was allowed in the cbd ,thats why they had a upper hand in the cbd,without closing the roads the situation could be different today

The only thing I would've added is that if the president listened to protestors and acted on their demands for prosecuting killer cops, stopping abductions, jailing corrupt state workers and industrializing KE instead of exporting youth for labour then no one would want him gone.

There were thousands of police in the cbd, enforcing roadblocks from all and any major highways and outskirts. I literally had to show my identity card to get into the outskirts of the cbd.
We were not defeated, we were very predictable and they managed to stagger us a bit.

Their were countless Police roadblocks on all major roads leading to the central business district, therefore protesters weren't able to reach Nairobi Town and unite to oust the President, the police prevented people from leaving their estates, restricted public transport, and inspected private vehicles plying all major routs. That's the reason the current president is still in Power, otherwise things would have been different. The situation on the Ground is Hostile towards the current Kenyan governance, starting from the Top
