Great looking brackets. I think the only addition I would make is to swap the bolts/nuts/washers for A4 stainless ones. My experience of bits from AliExpress is they're good but the unpainted metal does corrode a little faster here in the UK weather.

Thanks for taking the time to share your moding of the 450MT (your pride and joy). I take it that your soft luggage wasn't able to maintain it's shape/form without these brackets Michael? Cheeers, D.
@@150_ADVenture actually the luggage did well without the brackets. I also have other bigger bags which need support so I needed them for those. You could do without them but extra care is needed when fitting the bags. It’s just easier with the supports. Cheers
Just found this amazing item on AliExpress. Check it out! AU$197.63 | 450MT Saddlebag Side Box Bracket For CFMOTO 450 MT Accessories Storage Bags Luggage Carrier Luggage Rack Sidebox Bag Brackets a.aliexpress.com/_mrvX5Lm
I’m looking at getting those because on the way to the Dirty Weekend I melted my Rhinowalk bag lol, even made a heat shield but after 500klm no good 😂 Also I see they fixed the MT logo so the left one isn’t backwards lol
@@michaelwaddell3209 I had mine set back a bit because when I moved them forward the left side wanted to go closer to the wheel, so with these I can move the bags more forward because you do get a lot of heat out the back of the exhaust, should see my tool bag afterwards lol
Hello, I found it on AliExpress, but they say you don't need to drill holes in the sale. Is it true and did any holders came so you don't have to drill holes?
Thanks for sharing, did you happen to weigh them? I've been looking at these as well, I made my own for both my previous F800GS and 690 Enduro R.These look good and well priced.
Sorry I didn't weigh them. Funny I made pannier racks for two of my last bikes and some for a mate. For the money it isn't worth the time and effort in designing and making. Thanks

@@EddyOtway I’m sure they will help but bag could still touch exhaust. Heat shield is still necessary.

@@ghostcz2717 there was no option for the ones I had. There may be different ones available however. Drilling was not a problem.
@michaelwaddell3209 Yeah I know I just don't really don't want to cut into my new bike. I'll try to reach out to them.
Thanks!

Hiya, are they made from steel or alloy ?
@@meerkat-man they appear to be alloy.

Interested to see how they wear over time. You running soft luggage on that setup?
@@anthonya7066 yep. Rhino walk panniers and also andystrapz ones.
Everybody knows it will wobble without a bar connecting both plates...
it has support connecting from the foot pegs bracket, looks sturdy to me.
