How gorgeous is that white garden and to have it all blooming at once! Loved hearing your accent too. I grew up in Northumberland but the area is now a part of Tyne & Wear. I've been in the US since the 60's. Your whole garden is beautiful!
Sue, your garden is exquisite ❤ I loved every bit of what you showed - the Hydrangeas grown from cuttings were especially impressive. And I loved both the gray pots with white flowers and the dark pot with the dark intense colors - you have such a gift for putting those things together and it inspires me to up my pot plant game! Always a pleasure to visit your garden and see what you're up to - thank you for sharing😊
Thank you so much Lynn. Annabelle hydrangeas suit my climate for sure, cool and wet, Limelight’s or any panicle hydrangea however I have to work at it. It’s obviously the climate here, short summer, not much heat or sunshine which panicle’s require to do well. As for the pots I love to plant them up for all seasons now, it’s become a bit of an obsession for me. I’m sure whatever pots you make this summer will be beautiful like your garden 😊
I usually scroll through the lists of music trying to match the area of the garden I’ve videoed with a musical piece but I played this one first and loved it straight away. Thanks for watching and the lovely comments 😊
All your gardens are just beautiful! You say it’s due to the wet weather, but don’t sell yourself short. It’s all your hard work and vision that has made it all possible! Thanks for sharing.
Your garden is stunning. That rainfall sounded wonderful. I love that white lobelia. Your containers look beautiful. The hydrangeas from cuttings are huge. Great job! It is so fun to grow plants for free. Your white garden is my absolute favorite. I could watch this video all day.
Thanks Sue. The one positive from relentless rain, huge hydrangeas and rhododendrons. As I type this it’s heavy rain again, I’ll end up being known as the crazy woman who talks more about the rain than gardening 😉
Thank you for watching and taking the time to post such lovely comments. I’ve been very touched today by the lovely response to the video from everyone 🙏😊
I love your plant selections for your pots. Those will be beautiful. And I really enjoyed the tour through your gardens. You aren't just a good gardener, you are an amazing landscape designer... the different plants and layers and textures just work SO beautifully together. Thanks for the update! Cheers!
In another life I would have loved to have been a landscape architect/designer but I chose a career in IT the polar opposite to what I was passionate about. However at long last I’m now pursuing my dream to turn this sandstone quarry into a garden. Many thanks for the lovely comments they certainly do help to keep me motivated on days when I want to give it all up 😊
Sue, your garden is looking so lovely. Great choice of plants for the tubs and they look amazing already. Great camera shot of the bee on the Allium. Bet like me, you're getting fed up with all this rain. I've never known a year like it. Take care.
Hello, yes I’m absolutely fed up with this weather. The rain started last July and it’s never stopped since. I did have so many plans for this year but everything will just have to be pushed back. Anyhow thanks as always for watching, hope you have a good summer 😊
What a beautiful garden! You are so talented. I love your plant selections for the pots. The whole garden is breathtaking. Thank you for sharing it. Never give up! Gardens are good for the soul.
Thank you for the lovely comments, they are all very much appreciated and welcome. I’ve a long way to go to develop all the areas in the quarry but when I receive such encouragement like yours it makes a difference on the odd day when I do feel overwhelmed 🙏😊
Thank you for the lovely comments. I’m working hard to add more grey with a couple of cardoon’s and I’ve a few more ideas but the plants have to be able to cope with the increasingly wet weather we now seem to be experiencing so a bit of a challenge. Thanks for watching 😊
Thank you for sharing your beautiful garden. Being not far from Sydney Australia we are just heading into==ot winter but that means I get plenty of time to think about how to incorporate your ideas into this year's spring and summerr display.
Hello and welcome to Northumberland UK and thank you for watching my video and posting the lovely comments. Hopefully winter won’t be too cold for you but at least you will have time to plan for next summers displays 🙏😊
❤❤❤wow your gadern is so therapeutic and i love your theme.the white gadern is super lush and beautiful. I will visit this gadern over and over again .the rhythm of the rain water flowing and giving life to nature❤❤❤
Thanks Christinah your comments are always appreciated. We live so far apart with very different climates, you with dry heat and me with cold and rain but we both love gardening none the less. 🙏😊
I never knew it would be popular until I posted it on TH-cam for the first time but white gardens have always been my favourite for many years. Thanks for watching and posting the comment 🙏😊
My favourite too although I hadn’t realised how popular white gardens are until I started to post videos on TH-cam. Thanks for lovely comments always appreciated 🙏😊
The Annabelle’s grow and flower so much better than the limelight hydrangeas I grow which are very late flowering. Our summer season is short not much heat and sunlight for panicle hydrangeas to grow well. The only thing I can suggest to help with growing arborescens hydrangeas is to grow them in area which is shaded from the mid day sun and plenty of water. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment 🙏😊
Hello and thanks for the lovely comment. Just checked out your channel and subscribed as I too grow many of the same plants you grow in your tropical garden in my quarry garden. 😊
I grew blue dune but unfortunately put it in the ground. It started to break away from where it was planted and throwing spikes up everywhere. Had to dig it out
Last spring I nearly added it to one of the white borders but decided to add it to a summer display pot first and I was so glad I did as it grow through the bottom of the plastic pot with huge runners. Phew lucky escape. Thanks for watching 😊
I’m glad I discovered your channel. I garden in Quebec which is an entirely different climate but so many ideas can be translated. I watch while Im cooking supper :)
Love your beautiful garden !!!!!!!♥️♥️♥️🌻🌷🌾🌿🦋

@@thequarrygardener5578 LOL. All gardeners understand talking about the rain (or some years lack of it). I look forward to your next video.

The white garden is just so beautiful. Love how it accentuates all the shades of greens and various leaf textures.
