🎵🎶In Luton where I was born and raised on the Midland mainline where I spend most of my days spotting some trains to make them cool when a couple guys from Bedford made some trouble in my hoodie my mother got scared and said "your moving with your auntie and uncle in st pancras".🎵🎶 ( that's all I got for now)
Would like to see some Midlands/Birmingham banterage not sure if there’s any scenarios in the game. Maybe the SVR with an excursion on the Snow Hill lines? Just seems that the game is very southern-centric and as a non-southerner it feels alien. Other than that, great you’re back with the train banter.
pretty sad we no longer have the 319s. i loved seeing them pass through st pancras in FCC livery and thameslink blue and white. honestly loved the 319s and was excited for the 700s but now im sad that they are no longer here
Great video, only one correction, the class 360 on the Great Eastern have always been purple, they have never changed. They used to be in blue and white but they are all purple now
Also, you've been on 172s. WMR to Kidderminster and possibly LO GOBLIN. Southern are currently planning to fit batteries to some 377s for the Marshlink
psst, just to answer your question, its gonna be Battery Powered Electrowhirryboys!!! We've seen them in testing around croydon etc lol it looks quite cool
The local rag suggests that bi-mode battery trains will be used to replace the 171s. I certainly haven't heard anything from my contacts at Southern about new stock or stock acceptance work on the Uckfield line.
This is the first Moleman978 video I ever watched, and it's great :) I wonder if Train Sim (and Moleman) will ever be able to do the full London - Nottingham stopping service? :)
Do agree with you, would be nice to see a 360 in a new livery. They did paint one into national express with stripes livery but quickly changed it back when abellio took over.
Wait... has it been announced? I know the soundpack has been taken off the store which means it probably is coming (it better have a 387), but I can’t find anything official.
I remember 319s turning up in rush hour with 4 coaches rather than 8 with people running down the platform, now we have the 700s which I hope last long as Govia love running trains into the ground
I once was on a MML 170 BDM to st pancras, just left BDM told rear lights on the unit failed but kept it going but was limited to 10 mph I think all the way into london
Time to see if you get annoyed by the constant humming in the cab of a Turbostar. No spoilers pls Also, in response to the 171s replacement, how about short sets :P
23:12 "Notch 7 departure, what can possibly go wrong?" well don't most passenger trains hammer it out of the stations so as to meet their required timetabled arrival and departure times? especially at busier stations, or routes with more stops... also it will only be 6 more months before the intermediate stations no longer get direct intercity trains :(
if they do a complete midland mainline i will buy ts and that expansion because i have wanted to drive through leicester in train sim for YEARS just because i live here
this is so weird to me, living in leicester, because i see crosscountry 170s going between birmingham, leicester and gatwick airport or i see emr HSTs and 222s on the midland mainline, so seeing a midland mainline 170 is bizarre
That's funnyhow in britan they slow down for tunnels on the medium speed lines in amarica when a driver sees a uneel they think yes! time o make up some time... and then they open it up all the way and do at least 100 MPH in the tunnels then slam the brakes on as they come out of it lol
Southern would probably get 769s either from there own (if they still have them) or other 319s. Then it would be no different than when they had 319s, other than the diesel obviousely.
note the diffreneces in the 319s thr one with the m on the front was the city metro train the one with the arrow the city flier only the city flier branded thameslink trains of the time carried a firstclass compartment.

"all Diesels are Hellfire" a man of culture i see, couldn't agree more!
Love this. Absolutely class. The intro is great and I cant stop listening to his voice 😂 THE BANTER KING IS MOLEMAN978 (will)
WEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
I grew up on the London-Brighton line (Wivesfield Station), and those 319's (even though I didn't appreciate it at the time) were iconic
Yes. Back when the Class 170 Turbostars we’re doing London Intercity services. Great video as always.
Glad to see you back Molman978, hope too see more videos in the near future
Cool! Turbo stats are great. They can travel on all tracks
4:11 that looks awesome! reminds me of the early Amtrak trains or something thrown together by a kid
As someone who was proud to call the MML my former local, I'm glad you've done it justice
you won’t find me moving from here 😂

319s used to be my favourite EMUs. I used to travel on them everyday, now we have boring Class 700s with rock hard seats.
So bad seats for the class 700 but the rest is good 👍
I remember the class 319s in 2011
pretty sad we no longer have the 319s. i loved seeing them pass through st pancras in FCC livery and thameslink blue and white. honestly loved the 319s and was excited for the 700s but now im sad that they are no longer here
@@class317 me when I felt the 700 seats: No God please no nooooooooooooo! Edit: 😂
Really awesome video, never seen a lot of these liveries on units before and wow do they look stunning!
Man I love the comeback it keeps me entertain
The best Thameslink livery. My childhood in a nutshell.
More. I love the Turbostar and the livery
Lovely to see you back Moleman.
Another brilliant video! Very enjoyable indeed :)
I go to Southend most years with my grandparents the 357 is a staple of the journey
GA also have 360's in a purple and white livery, those trains run from Liverpool St. to Clacton-On-Sea and Ipswich
Great video, only one correction, the class 360 on the Great Eastern have always been purple, they have never changed. They used to be in blue and white but they are all purple now
And they were once in the national express livery (NXEA)
I do love that era. Very nice
I used to drive the 170 Turbostar from Glasgow Queen Street to Edinburgh Waverly for 4 years before Scotrail bought the Class 385s.
I been in the uk a lot and I love the stream trains that still run
This is something nice to wake up too. (Its currently 5:25 am at the time of this comment for me)
I can’t wait for another whisper “shall we ditch the coaches?” 2020 version
Also I think the yellow and blue thamselink livery it suites it
Once I've been to Bedford and i saw a 700 pull into the sidings
thrilling
Very rare... 😮

Love how your back, nice video with the 170 also have you seen AP's upcoming 377/375 EP
Wait... has it been announced? I know the soundpack has been taken off the store which means it probably is coming (it better have a 387), but I can’t find anything official.
@@buksi6342 Amstrong Powerhouse was doing sneak peaks on his Facebook page, it just released yesterday.
If you look carefully at the front of the train at the bottom right/left light you can see the train move a few inches 0:56 - 1:12
Yes this is because it is pretty much impossible to simulate a perfect stop
I remember 319s turning up in rush hour with 4 coaches rather than 8 with people running down the platform, now we have the 700s which I hope last long as Govia love running trains into the ground
39:02 I can confirm that Train Sim has accurately made Hendon. Basically identical.
Absolutely amazing content, I’m loving the comeback videos! Just wondering, how did you get the fully black HUD?
Its in the description of the video
This is my favourite DMU!
Apparently they are either going to electrify the uckfield and marshlink lines or use battery fitted 377s
I thought the HS1 tunnels were wide bore to support the European loading gauge of the e320s?
I once was on a MML 170 BDM to st pancras, just left BDM told rear lights on the unit failed but kept it going but was limited to 10 mph I think all the way into london
It would be nice to see a backdated MML possibly going up to Leicester or Derby
I've been on a Northern Class 170, also Southern's 171s are going to EMR in 2022 after conversion back to 170s
I’ve been on a West Midlands Railway 170 various times
Time to see if you get annoyed by the constant humming in the cab of a Turbostar. No spoilers pls
Also, in response to the 171s replacement, how about short sets :P
yourr backk!!!!!!
Leicester, Change here for services throughout the East Midlands, and also, Bedford. I hope your ok?
Love the 170
Great video
5:23 Maybe shoulda' taken a screenshot?
Great video james i wish i could do a collab with you or like join you in a video but any way keep up the great work
Great video could you drive a valenta HST on the ecml merge from alanthompon sim
170s aren't too bad a bit uncomfortable on the long New Street to Stansted services
I'm hoping for a 37 hauled mk 3 marsh link service when the 171s disappear
23:12 "Notch 7 departure, what can possibly go wrong?"
well don't most passenger trains hammer it out of the stations so as to meet their required timetabled arrival and departure times? especially at busier stations, or routes with more stops...

My dad said southeastern are going to run to Ashford International to charring Cross that will be the class 395 but it is a rumor.
My dad works for the railway
if they do a complete midland mainline i will buy ts and that expansion because i have wanted to drive through leicester in train sim for YEARS just because i live here
just trains are doing it, derby - sheffield already out but extension being done to leicester and nottingham
Next time you go to St Pancras (in Train Sim) find London Kings Cross
Do you think during quarantine you could stream cuz i'm bored and it would nice to talk to the king.
I think the 185s from tpe are replacing the 171s (not 100% sure)
Could you try my local (the ely to peterborough line) recently released i think. Ask alan Thompson about it
Have you been on a class 323. They have awesome traction motors.
He lives in Kent so no
this is so weird to me, living in leicester, because i see crosscountry 170s going between birmingham, leicester and gatwick airport or i see emr HSTs and 222s on the midland mainline, so seeing a midland mainline 170 is bizarre
You mean Stansted Airport
Yay turbostar !
Good morning Moleman, can you do a the South Wales Coastal with the new Transport For Wales livery 150 please?
I like your vids
Would you be going into the old trainshed or the interim station?
Can you do the welsh marchers line please
How do you get the passenger view for the 170?
Why are the eurostars so long?
Thing about Luton is that you don't realize how close Luton and Luton Airport Parkway are.
Personally the 158 is the best noise
is it just or when Moleman was in the cab the 170 kinda sounded like a 158
EMR have a few 170s now
What is ur opinion on the new EMR 170?
That's funnyhow in britan they slow down for tunnels on the medium speed lines in amarica when a driver sees a uneel they think yes! time o make up some time... and then they open it up all the way and do at least 100 MPH in the tunnels then slam the brakes on as they come out of it lol
39:32 weren't London Overground not there
I'm sure it was made in 2008
Down with the 375/9s
Oooh the 700 would look good with tooth paste livery probaby with white instead of grey though . But idk
PLEASE DO THE CLASS 455/456 COMBO
Pls could you drive the GEML
Great vdeo

2:07 - question is though, DO YOU WANT A ROYALE BUCKET? Mmm chimken - sorry I got distracted.

There's loads of pacers they could use
A Turbostar not in Chiltern or Southern livery? NANI
