- In today's video, I visited the smartest home in Africa in Lagos Nigeria. when we got here, I was surprised at how far home automation technology has gotten. From the entrance of the house to the living, kitchen, stare case, and bedroom, everything is been automated and activated by either voice or touch.
This technology is been introduce by Ritzman smart home automation company here in Lagos. if you will like the same thing to be done in your house, contact them.

Very great video. Amazing content on smart homes. A job well done. For future videos, it'll be nice to mute the parts of the video that say "hey google" or "alexa" when editing cos it can activate smart devices of viewers.
Thank you Ife.. I thought that was not going to be a problem.. I have had series of viewers say it activates their phones
But doing this creates a disconnect in the video. I think the video is trying to demonstrate how smart the home is that devices are activated by voice alone. The activation of our devices is a slight inconvenience we can manage.
Yeah. That happened to me. Twice 😂
Pls Steve can I have his contact that you .

This guy is calm, cool and appears humble. Money made in good way gives peace of mind. All these young people who make more haste but actually cover less speed should watch this video and be encouraged to work hard silently and in a good way.

You need to get richer friends bro
They are up to at least 400 billionaires residing in the United states according to mutiple online sources and Forbes magazine. Trust me these Billionaires residing in the United states do have smart houses. Especially Bill Gates of Microsoft Corporation. Peace.
@@novellprice132 I think the guy might be referring to normal middle-class owners of smart homes in America, not billionaires' smart homes. I have seen normal smart homes owned by middle-class owners in America. The guy works for CNET in America, a tech news company.

Lol youtube pays well dear
So people dey live like this for Lagos😭. I would really like to see the working mechanism of a smart home set-up. Unfortunately, this would require constant electricity which is somewhat a luxury in Nigeria but it's amazing to see the possibilities. Thanks for this amazing video Steven.
Steve, why didn’t you go to kitchen? I would like to see how the device works in the kitchen if he will tell google to open fridge or turn on the blender😁. Please next time enter the kitchen too. Weldone, you are doing well

When you are ready, let us know 😀
You are welcome ma'am
@@StevenNdukwu please invite me as your guest when I visit Nigeria in a foreseeable future.
You can do that to your home. Just go to the nearest Lowe's ask for Google home devices. Reason why a lot of ppl don't put it in their homes in the States, you no wan make Google call police when u de smoke gbana. Lol
Pls don't come for now. Country not safe currently. With all your smart house, there are no smart street to drive through but only unsafe roads. One almajiri can kidnap you on your way to nearby ibadan and the rest is history!

This is great! I can image what happens if there's power failure. In Cameroon we are still struggling with power instability despite the availability of resources. Smart homes can't be a priority now. We need good roads, affordable housing, power, etc before we can start to think of smart homes.
Rich people are not thinking like you. They already have good roads to their houses, electricity generating sets and so on. This is what they need. This is life my dear.
We're still struggling with power in Nigeria too, it's not like these houses are common here either. But he can afford to pay for constant electricity. You can do the same in Cameroon.
You can also install an automatic solar switch backup power system
@@oritsegee smart homes are common in Nigeria now. They have one in Abuja too, far better than these. Saw it on Cnn news about smart homes in Nigeria 🇳🇬

You are right dear. They don't know much about Nigeria, they only escalate the negatives

As great as this may sound, nothing can replace human connection.
This is a bit too much for me, every time you use Google or Alexa it records everything even the conversations it’s not supposed to. The camera following, nah! Unnu can keep dat! All I would need is lights/AC activation dassit! Cause when the electricity or internet cuts off, you’re in TROUBLE 😳🤦🏾♀️

If we can have good leadership and fundamental democracy with the wealth and richers circulation.
Nigerians should be able to live comfortably, economically comfortable and excellent standard of life without struggling to rush to Amsterdam, America, European and London etc.
Nigerians are some of the most powerful, successful, smart and innovative people who if are given the right opportunities will exceed in business and economics.

Nice, but that's like selling my life to Google. They literally know everything I do, who visits, what I eat, when I sleep and when I wake... I don't see myself selling myself to Tech giant that way.

He said most is offline. I wonder after an upgrade your data now belongs to
Your very correct
funny thing is. whether you're using these smart home or not Google already knows much about you.
Your types are everywhere, people that’s sees disadvantages in everything they come Across
That's the main issue with everything smartness, security and privacy is gone. As good as this systems are, they can still be hacked. You will think everything is off but some of those cameras might still be working in the background, capturing and sending data.
There is supposed to be warning for visitors to such house to know that their data is being captured and stored on the cloud ☁️.

I bet many people here who are saying they wish to have this kind of a smart home will not think about things like these when they have enough money. Some people are naturally enslavers of technology. People like that are not crazy about designer wears or posh cars. They just want to satisfy their inquisitive mind of what else could there be and why can't we do this. These are not people who brags because their wealth cannot be seen in the public. They are great people. I love it. Great content.

This is nice but it's basically google hub, smart bulbs and light switches, wyze camera, wzye contact sensors, with today's technology, doesn't really take much to do this.
