oof that's crazy, hope it was a faulty frame and not your responsibility. I was thinking of going for an altitude this year but I'm coming from a 2020 Instinct C70 which in the end dragged me to a santa cruz megatower because I want to see and feel how other brands ride
I can’t see this as a “crash” situation tbh- in my view this is completely a faulty frame. Hopefully the warranty will come through quickly! Edited my response**
@@ChainBrothersMTB I know because I watched the video and there was absolutely no crash, at least you have video proof of it. I pray for a quick replacement in your case. I don't think that RM changed anything about their frame manufacturer but when I noticed that my frame was "Made in Taiwan" my face went :( pretty quick four years ago. Yes I know that is not an indicator for cheap manufacturing but I had high hopes when I was introduced to RM back then
@@Rasakson ya I feel lucky that I was 1) running a camera and 2) that I have a completely unedited non stop version for them if required as the battery life in the OA5 is crazy.
Interesting- I hear the jangle of a touch down but there’s a bash guard on the bike and the bash would touch down first in that circumstance. I think it’s most likely the rock strike at 7:28 but- who knows I could be wrong too.
Bikes are so low now a days even with 29 wheels. All it takes is taking obstacles at a wrong angle. Just a possibility. Could be anywhere like you said
Steel is real!
So true. I’m disappointed but hopeful the warranty process will be quick…
