Sno-Bowl toilet bowl cleaner cleans rusted stuff like the mixing valve real well... just be careful on small parts like springs... it will eat them away. It will clean your fuel tank and water hopper too. I always has a bottle of it in my garage... great stuff for cleaning rust off things, that are not good or easy to sand blast.
Wow, that stuff sounds powerful, my kind of stuff! You know what I will definitely try that, I have several gas tanks to clean up. And yeah, that M's water hopper is pretty nasty! Thanks again Bud!! : )
WHAT YOU GUYS HAD A LIVESTREAM!!!! I'll try to be at the next one TH-cam didn't recommend to me for some reason. yeah I think they Made those ones with the fuel the last Couple of years there not really rare but there pretty cool though I thought they only put those on the bigger internationals but we all learn something every day☺️ Yeah I saw a wile back mike actually had to make one of those pumps I learned a lot form him check his vid out if ya haven't already. Ps: wow original sled that's cool
Yeah, the LIVESTREAM was just a test this time, just to see if it would work smoothly. And it did!! Yeah I think it's an aftermarket pump as you have suggested. Yeah I actually have the privilege to know Mike personally, so I have definitely learned a lot from him! Yeah I couldn't believe when after I power-washed the sled that the original paint and lettering came out, I was very happy to see that! Anyway, yeah we hope to see you on the LIVESTREAM this Friday!! : )
"smells like liquor"...Ha! If I had any liquor that smelled like old gasoline, I sure wouldn't be drinking it!! Anyway, Good job, guys! One of these days I'll get to working on some of my old engines. I've got an old 2.5HP Novo from about 1912 or so that I really want to get going. I rescued it from a rock pile in a field along with a 1.5HP Delaval and a 3HP Economy. They are all stuck solid... Also have a couple John Deere model E's and some Fairbanks Morse model Z's. Looking forward to the live stream...Is the time Eastern Standard?
I wouldn't blame ya for not drinking it, that would be the kind of liquor that kills! Yeah I would love to see some of your engines some time. They sound like great engines! I gust want to say, thank you for rescuing them, a lot of people would just sell them for scrap, which absolutely KILLS me inside!!!! Hey when they are stuck solid, they are the most fun and entertaining! And yes the LIVESTREAM is on Eastern Standard time. Thanks for stopping by and for commenting again Bud! Hope to see you on the LIVESTREAM!! : )

Also Mercury marine (Quicksilver) makes this stuff called Power Tune. It will un-stick any gummed up thing, carbs piston rings etc.
That 'Quicksilver' stuff seems like it would be a very welcome addition to the garage! Thanks for the tip!! : )
