I also prefer a tailcap switch. Soft push gives me my monetary light. Then click it for constant. Then I have something similar to an Arisaka mount allowing my light to be up against my rail at about the 1 o'clock position. I don't care for wires , just another failure point.
this light design is just no bueno. Surefire, Modlite, and Malkoff/Arisaka are just light years ahead of this in every way. With the light mounted at 12:00, where do you mount your laser??? It lacks all the features of a modern day light.
@sonsofnewengland835 you can mount it wherever you want. I just have mine here. As for a laser, I don't run one on this rifle. Features are subjective to the personal needs of the end user. I like this light for indoor use because it doesn't blind me reflecting off the wall
@@fullarmortrainingllc I run a Modlite on my pistol that has 1,350 lumens and 54,000 candela. My rifle lights are Malkoff heads on Arisaka bodies that have 500 lumen and 55,000 Candela. I am not blind nor are others who use bright lights...... so it comes down to training. Professional end users want to see. If lights blinded you, then why would you mount them on any weapon system at all?? It's just something you've heard i'm sure. I'm sure you haven't spent much time training indoors at night with WML's.
Past durability issues of the inforce cause me not to want to be interested. With the Streamlight series that are set up the same and have a good track record, I'm not even going to bother.
@freneticfanatic I hear you. I got this one on sale and have used it for at least 2 years. No issues. They have had past issues, but the ones I have, I've had none.

@kuntekinte6246 I agree with that. Another reason I like this light is that the switch is at an angle.
What is your height over bore with the red dot? Looks pretty tall.
@@kuntekinte6246 2.26"
@@fullarmortrainingllcbet that really restricts MPBR.
Yeah, holds are different for sure. It was a height I was playing with, but I don't care too much for it. I like 1.57". For me, that's the sweet spot.
How would you mount it on the sides? At the 3 or 9 o'clock positions?
@Scootbreezy23 a small picatinny section, or if you ran a quad rail.
@fullarmortrainingllc ahhh gotcha thank you
Edit: you're up late buddy!

@@fullarmortrainingllc Nothing blinds you off walls. This sounds like an amateur's response and lack of training.

@sonsofnewengland835 that's cool. I have a CD rein with 100k and this inforce. I'm not using my CD for indoors.
