Awesome!!! LOVE IT!!!! I Am A HALLOWEEN Fanatic!!! Glad I Found Your Channel!!!! Thanks For The Tips & Tricks!!!! Happy Haunting!!! 👍👍💯💯🧡🧡🖤🖤🎃🎃🧛🧛🕸🕸🩻🧟🧟🕷🕷👣👣👁👁😁😁
I love a guy that loves Halloween this much. He gets big bonus points for giving out lots of candy and for understanding that it is a holiday for adults too.
I've found my people!! It's nice to know I'm not the only one getting Halloween stuff out this early. Very cool decorations! I'm glad I found your channel.
If you're making stuff it's a good idea to start early. I've already started getting ideas together & painting stuff. It takes time, but brings so much joy! I love Halloween crafts & decorating! 🤗🧡🎃
I start working on decorations and props in January. Living in Arizona, summer months are too hot to be working outdoors and monsoon season messes with outdoor work. People always give me a hard time for starting so early, but it’s worth it. Oh, and I don’t have any kids and I’m almost a senior. 😂 I do it all for the neighbors and neighbors’ kids and me!
I also live in Az and I have it all in my backyard until Sept. All my DIYs are made and ready to go. I enjoy them all summer in my backyard but I don’t even think of going out there in this heat 😂
My kids are grown but we still enjoy it and I’m convinced the neighborhood kids would be disappointed if we didn’t set it up every year so I’ll probably never stop😁
Lover of all things Fall season and of course can't wait till Halloween time!! Your yard looks great! I've also got grown children and Halloween is a family fav. Nothing like the old days of Trick or Treating, and the love of decorating the scares!!🎃🖤🤎👻🍁🍂🦇
I agree, we love watching the kids try to decide if they are brave enough to make it to the top of the stairs to get the candy. Of course my wife will take it to them when they aren’t quite ready yet.
A couple of points that may help someone: 1) I do electronics so this was easy for me. I helped someone do the sound for a haunt. The sound was basically just a stereo output of sounds played by a PC and some electronic switches to connect different speakers to each audio signal. A PC can easily play a sound as short as 0.3 seconds so the person gets to hear it off to the side but it is gone before they can localize it. Today if I was doing it, a Raspberry PI would be the PC but back then it was an old MSDOS box that was kicking around. For the audio, there are plenty you can get for free They had a total of over 16 speakers. 2) My jack-o-lantern is really a projection onto a screen. Most of the time it is just that. Now and then it does a sudden "jump scare" thing that flashes in. The idea is to make it so that a passing person will see it about once as they come down the street.
Thanks for the helpful video.. I’m not tech savvy enough to post a TH-cam video but I’m already getting props and decorations ready for our 3rd annual party. Glad I’m not the only one!!
Pipe the fog machine through a chamber (like a modified cooler) that is half or partially filled with dry ice, and the fog will come out the other side clinging to the ground more…not so airy. Of course you need to modify the cooler, pipe in and pipe out.
I’ve got about 5 or 6 fog machines running in different places. A couple of them are chilled for low lying fog. I didn’t think about dry ice though. I use a drilled out corrugated drainage pipe and put several frozen water bottles in it. Works okay but I’ll definitely check out the dry ice technique. Thanks!
The link to that product is actually in the description. Unfortunately they don’t have a white light function to them but I’m sure something similar can be found with white light instead of black light.
I decorate the store i work at for the holidays. I've been working on my Halloween display since the first of July. Every year, I try to change my displays and make them different, unique, and hopefully better. Its hard, because its all inside and in the daylight.
hello sir my name is beckia and i have a question for you see i like to decorate for Halloween just like you do but now my question is have you or would you ever consider coming to a persons house and helping them to set up Halloween decorations in her yard see i have a big yard just like you do but mine is sectioned off into two yards and i would like to try and set up in both yard if i could but the only thing is that i don't how to set it up I've always had a big idea as to what i wanna do but just putting up and getting it together is my thing i have a 15 year old who loves to help and grant it he has some pretty awesome ideas too but i need REAL help kinda like your help to set up that would be soooo totally awesome 😃😃😃😃🥰🥰🥰🙂🙂🙂❤🎃🧡🖤🧡🖤🧡🖤
Thank you for reaching out! I just double checked to make sure they are there. It's the one marked (My top 2024 pick) Rechargeable black light. Here it is in case you still can't find them: #earnscommissions, geni.us/5B0oap (Amazon) Rechargeable Black Light.
Is there a store in the United States, where they sell Halloween decorations 12 months a year? I live in Italy, but I will come next summer to the west USA.
I wish there was ! Spirit Halloween shows up for a couple of months a year around Halloween. Honestly I get a lot through Amazon which is where all the links in the description will take you.
A GOOD HAUNT BUT WE DO OUR LITTLE HAUNT FOR THE YOUNGER ONES. NO GORE AND NOT-SO-SCARY THEMES, BUT ONE THING I NOTICED ABOUT AMERICAN HAUNTS. ALTHOUGH THEY ARE AMAZING, NO ONE SEEMS TO GO UP AND ASK FOR CANDY, ONLY WALK BY DOZENS OF YARD HAUNTS. CANDY IS WHAT THIS EVENT IS ALL ABOUT WHETHER IT'S A SINGLE PLASTIC PUMPKIN OR $ 10K WORTH OF ANIMATRONICS!!
I give out extremely large amounts of candy every year. We spend about $200-$250 just on candy every year. They walk by once or twice though before they get enough courage to come get the candy 😂

Just started working on Halloween projects....never too early for Halloween outdoor projects!!!!
I’m always working on them even if it’s just because I’m planning them in my head😂
"If they make it to the candy" cracked me up !
There are runners sometimes, usually they are kids but not always 😂
Jumping spider always gets me 😭
They are surprisingly effective for how inexpensive they are!
Been an empty nester for a couple of years and I want to up my Halloween game!
Great job on your yard and haunt. I always try to make it special for my visitors. I like a lot of the stuff you do in your yard. Very cool. 🎃👍
Thank you so much!
I agree. I keep up some Universal monster clings every day

Woof!!
Who makes the LED lights that you highlight at the end of your video? I see blacklight units, but can they throw bright white light as well?
The link to that product is actually in the description. Unfortunately they don’t have a white light function to them but I’m sure something similar can be found with white light instead of black light.

Yeah, I understand. Light does present a problem if you’re trying to make it super scary.
Nice

Harbor Freight if you’re creative. I get a lot of my supplies there. They have cheap canvas drop cloths I use for reaper hooded cloaks
