A gain of 60hp is quite good. But the cvt transmission will not do justice to all this power. Would have been perfect if it was a manual 1.8 altis. Better 0-100 time.
Absolutely. People turbocharge their corollas all the time in other countries, just that they either involve corollas with the 4 speed automatic, or a manual.

Had this been the case, F1, drag racers and all super/hyper cars would have used CVTs. The CVT tech was developed purely for fuel economy.

Great to see a real modified car,first project car that actually increased its horsepower rather than installing a cheap cold air intake and seghal motors body kit.That big spolier and lava lights aint making your car first.In pakistan i have literally seen 90hp 1.3 stock engines inside like city and exterior modifications worth more than 2 lacks 😂,sorry to say but 90 percent of pakistani modifiers are just ricers !!! And somehow they think that there red chrome wrap will turbo charge there vehicle.Work on real modification which are fun and more exciting rather than visual appeal and attention seeking

pretty sure a turbo charger makes the engine even more fuel efficient then before if only you drive it carefully instead of flooring
The grande shown after wards is an old model which is unlocked . That turbo grande is the other one . Look at the meter
Should do it to a 1.6, power gains should be similar but without the CVTI the sound will struggle less..
Finally somebody who sees this. The cvt On my Toyota corolla although it’s the best one out there definitely better than Nissans cheap shit Jayco CVt But hell it’s not like you’re using their moneyselling stupid kid using OPM that it will work just fine.
Back in 2005 I put a stage for Stillen supercharger on my 35th anniversary 350 Z with the yellow paint my horsepower automatically 120 hp game and within two months it’s totally ate up my clutch( oh and I’m one of those old fogies who knows how to drive a standard correctly and this is with that really good 3.5 L engine slash transmission almost the whole length of the car out of the box stock th tank drive shaft was carbon Kevlar deposit do you honestly think a little weak ass CVT transmission would hold up to a turbo I don’t think so
There are Corollas with Manual Gearbox in 1.6L anx and same 1.8L engine. They would have been better in this case provided they install some better tires at least.

@@riffatazhar8360 150K? Bro you need a wideband, a wastegate, a BOV. Don't forget a piggyback ECU or an ECU flash. To be on the safe side you'll need to upgrade the pump as well as you don't want the car to run lean. All in all will cost around 300K, maybe even more! (that is unless one goes for kabli crap, then it'll be cheaper)

@@sameerulhaq9928 Wideband is just a sensor and new ECU can cost 50k including tuning. You can turbo a car around 200k on LOW BUDGET. Wastegate and BOV comes with the turbo charger and are not very expensive. if you want to spend money around 300k and above you can which can include.

This run doesn't seem like 197whp at all it must be 197 at the crank, u could clearly see how the speedo was climbing mark x 300g has almost that much power to the wheels and it throws the needle like a boss, and this has a cvt tranny as well
Bro Corolla has speed meter up to 240 km/h thats ehy it doesnt feel mark x has up to 180 thats why needle move quickly

a good ecu tune and bigger injectors can get this thing over 200 hp

It is good for older cars. Don't you ruin your new engine with these unprofessional street (tharra) work. Corrolla engine is not designed for being turbocharged.
Any engine can be fitted with a turbo or supercharger provided the necessary changes are adapted along with this kind of setup. There are few part repacements (forged pistons, etc) that need to be replaced otherwise the engine would not last longer with the added extra power.
They are best in their field and do you have any experience with them so kindly first experience their work then judge them

@@hassaanahmed4178 Yes i know. You need to select compressor and turbine based on engine parameter along with intercooler. Each engine is designed for certain compression ratio for fatigue fracture life of 1 million cycles. We need to know the safety factors of engine components. Using this safety factor we can put extra stress of supercharger or turbocharger. We also need to change ECU parameters. Sometimes intake and exhaust manifold design has to be changed for high performance cars.

Yes u can ek civic comes with b16 vtec engine with 148hp u can add intake domwpipe and straight pipe and ecu tuned and add turbocharger with intercooler the car will easily hit 300 to 400 hp
