I have a watercolor pencil and I prefer the chalk. Like I said I haven’t really had any issues I think it was the different basecoat I used for this painting. It was a little bit stickier than the one I normally use.
@@thoughtfuldots I wondered about the base coat when I saw what you used to touch up with. Stunning work btw. I have a very large lazy susan I am thinking if doing. After watching you with this 22" is giving me second thoughts.
Do you let the swooshes dry out a bit before moving on to the next one? I am always afraid of my hand running over them if not!! Also, I notice a lot of dotters do not space them out evenly before dotting around the initial dot…how do you know they can all fit evenly??
This is so beautiful. How do you pick your color palette that you use ? I have a hard time picking my colors. I've started a color palette on my Pinterest just to get help choosing.
Thanks!! I custom blend most of my paints but the ones I can think of off the top of my head are Saffron Yellow, Jack-o-lantern orange, burn sienna, burlap, mississippi mud... All DecoArt Americana
WOW! WOW! WOW! Fabulous and I love the little top dot details.
My all doubts regarding dot mandala is getting cleared by watching your work...Thankyou so much ma'am...
You are fierce and fearless!
Your paintings are SO BEAUTIFUL, Demi. I just want to recreate them all! SO GORGEOUS!!!
Thanks for the lovely mandala dots painting...
Thank YOU for watching!
Beautiful ❤️ 💕
This mandala is stunning. Try a watercolor pencil for your guidelines, it wipes right off with a damp cloth

Do you have pattern or do you make up as you go along? Beautiful work!
Thank you! I make up as I go, making each piece unique and one of a kind 😊
@@thoughtfuldots i start out with idea then it always turns out different. I love that. No duplications
Hi Can you please tell me the shades you used in this mandala drawing thank you...
Beautiful!! What are the colors of your paints on this one?

This makes me want to try an "almost" all swoop piece...it's gorgeous! Do you mix your paints with medium to make the swoops flow easier?
Do it!! And no I don’t. Deco Art American is a great consistency for swooshes!
очень красиво!
Can u pls make a video how do u give base black colour
Yes I think that will be my next video! 😉
what size is between the drawn circles
No specific size… you can also do more or less. Not all of them will be used they are just there in case you need them!
No music? Weird. It made me stop watching. Perhaps some nice “spa” kind of music in the background… heck I’ll even take whale noises at this point lol
Some people are uncomfortable sitting in silence and that’s okay 👍🏻
