Nice to see new life being brought to the old school cars. Be will waiting for the Coyote Swap. Old school, with new school technology. I enjoy that you include your son in on the build. Father, son, and old school cars doesn't get much better.
pretty sure same for airbag models but i would definitely tie up the steering wheel to not let it rotate a full turn and kill the clockspring inside..if foxbody has one ..it might!!!
Correct, but I should have mentioned about the later models with airbag. This 79 has zero electronics on the steering wheel. Not even the horn, the horn is on the stalk.
Any update on the team z street beast set up on the other car? Do the bushings hold up? Are you getting any bind? What mm parts would you have gone with had you not done team z?
Whats next? Cut the springs? Brew2l style. Free appearance mod! Sn95 / new edge v8 axle swap stock brakes and axle shafts on it? What about a pace car style cowl hood? (I think it just bolts onto stock hood) I cant wait for more projects! Love the early 4 eye cars!
Oooh all this sounds good. I like the scoops on these years and the what I call "bolt on cowl" on the pace car. I just picked up an 8.8, so likely going to hit up stance on it soon. All 4 coils can take 1 coil off, this car site so high! lol

I was thinking of getting the MM shaft for my 96 gt,,how is the steering feel and is there a lot of vibration or shock when you go over bumps?
