The show even heavily implies that Grandfather's abuse and mistreatment was the root cause of how Father turned out. (Especially ironic seeing Father was the obedient child and Monty was the "rulebreaker" but Grandfather favored Monty because he had spirit.)
He also forgot to mention the R.A.F.T episode, where father tries to bake a cake with "every snot-nosed brat in town" inside of it for the delightful children. Not only would that be murder, it'd also be an act of cannibalism had it not been for Numbuh 2 saving the day.

Finn’s dad is a strange one because he was actually a good dad at first. He only even abandoned Finn to try to protect him when they were being attacked and he got hurt in the process. But after that, he truly went down a dark path.
You have to admit, being a father to 3 super-powered girls aged five (knowing they could do serious damage to you or the city) is actually pretty brave. I mean what if they accidentally hurt him or grow up and decide they want to be villains.
Regarding the parents of the Eds, they have SOME positive traits. Ed’s dad is implied to be the only member of his family that isn’t out to get him. Edd’s parents still showed love for him by making him a lunch he likes despite losing a spelling bee. Eddy’s parents are so strict with him because they don’t want him turning out like his brother. Considering how Eddy’s brother turned out in the movie, it’s hard to blame them.

I think Eustace's mom should've been in the evil list. She is most likely why Eustace is so abusive and mean to Courage and Muriel. She always puts Eustace down no matter what he does for her and he tries so hard to gain her acceptance. As it's nice that she treats Courage nicely (I believe she started to be mean to Courage eventually), she was so awful to Eustace that you even feel bad for him and get a little understanding of his cruel and mean ways.
I think Mandy's parents deserve to be a few spots above Billy's. They aren't equipped to dealing with Mandy and try their best. I think Billy himself deserves the silver medal of his treatment of Jeff.

I think Jake and Mel Sumouski deserves to be in the good area because the weren't always bad parents, Nicole Williams and Chad should be in the grey area because the way they treated their son.
It is hard to tell with Margaret and Joshua since they were dead in the show at the start of it and we only saw them in flashbacks. From what we did see they clearly loved and cared for their sons well but they were also very secretive about things which lead to trouble later on down the line.

You mentioned Jake the Dog and Martin Mertins from Adventure Time, but you didn't mention Finn's adoptive parents, Joshua and Margaret. They would at least be put in the Grey Area.
Dang I was really hoping to see Joshua and Margaret, they're probably one of the most difficult to rank. On one hand they are crime fighters who adopted multiple children including the supposed last human in ooo and a literal alien parasite, raised Finn, Jermain, and kinda Jake to be good people, (Jake didn't know stealing was wrong and joined a gang before AT started) and are thought of as good loving parents by Finn and Jake. But on the other hand they've made fun of Finn too much, lied and burped on them while they were sick for laughs, pushed them into dangerous crime fighting as kids, and left Jermain with keeping all of their belongings safe after their death which put a lot of pressure on him. In the end they loved their children and their children loved them, they also had good morals they gave to their kids. But they were immature and had high expectations for their kids.

I know they only appeared for one episode, but I wanna mention Courage's parents. Even though Courage was abandoned as a pup with Muriel becoming a sort of mother figure to him, the first of the final two episodes show that it wasn't of their own choice. They were good folks, and took Courage to a vet when he got stuck, not quite knowing of that vet's sinister plan. They were kidnapped and sent to space, forcing Courage to escape and wave goodbye to them. It was a really sad moment, but if only they could see how good a boy their little jellybean grew up to be. I'm glad they and the other spaced dogs were able to get sweet revenge against him.

I think Eustace's mom should've been in the evil list. She is most likely why Eustace is so abusive and mean to Courage and Muriel. She always puts Eustace down no matter what he does for her and he tries so hard to gain her acceptance. As it's nice that she treats Courage nicely (I believe she started to be mean to Courage eventually), she was so awful to Eustace that you even feel bad for him and get a little understanding of his cruel and mean ways.

What about Joshua and Margaret, lady rainicorn and her parents, and Richard waterston parents and Nicole's parents?
It is hard to tell with Margaret and Joshua since they were dead in the show at the start of it and we only saw them in flashbacks. From what we did see they clearly loved and cared for their sons well but they were also very secretive about things which lead to trouble later on down the line.
I miss seeing good dads like Professor Utonium and Monty Uno. I love those guys.

You mentioned Jake the Dog and Martin Mertins from Adventure Time, but you didn't mention Finn's adoptive parents, Joshua and Margaret. They would at least be put in the Grey Area.
Dang I was really hoping to see Joshua and Margaret, they're probably one of the most difficult to rank. On one hand they are crime fighters who adopted multiple children including the supposed last human in ooo and a literal alien parasite, raised Finn, Jermain, and kinda Jake to be good people, (Jake didn't know stealing was wrong and joined a gang before AT started) and are thought of as good loving parents by Finn and Jake. But on the other hand they've made fun of Finn too much, lied and burped on them while they were sick for laughs, pushed them into dangerous crime fighting as kids, and left Jermain with keeping all of their belongings safe after their death which put a lot of pressure on him. In the end they loved their children and their children loved them, they also had good morals they gave to their kids. But they were immature and had high expectations for their kids.
I'd put them in the 1st spot in The Gray Area.

I know they only appeared for one episode, but I wanna mention Courage's parents. Even though Courage was abandoned as a pup with Muriel becoming a sort of mother figure to him, the first of the final two episodes show that it wasn't of their own choice. They were good folks, and took Courage to a vet when he got stuck, not quite knowing of that vet's sinister plan. They were kidnapped and sent to space, forcing Courage to escape and wave goodbye to them. It was a really sad moment, but if only they could see how good a boy their little jellybean grew up to be. I'm glad they and the other spaced dogs were able to get sweet revenge against him.
