It just keeps getting better for that combo. Looking forward to the #5s and the comparison on the chokes. Ive gotta pit a red dot on .ine it shoots so high that i maxed the sights out and still shoots high. Wonder what the beast load would look like out of that
Yeah, it seems like some came with this choke and others came with the flush .710 turkey full like mine did. I don't know why they were sent out with different chokes. I guess it was probably a production thing where maybe the older ones got this choke and the newer ones got the flush version or something? I don't know, but it seems to be a good performer either way
@@matttyreeoutdoors I bought mine at Walmart back in 2003 for less than $250... It was well worth the money and I sure have taken plenty of turkeys with it
is there limits on the number of turkeys you can take in a season and if males or females? Especially in the state you film in as I understand all your states in America have different rules for game.
It is regulated by state. Most states have a limit of 1-3 male turkeys in the spring. Some states allow fall hunting, which typically has a limit of 1-3 turkeys of either sex.
@@Snailz5 cheers, we don't have turkeys here in Australia to hunt and only 1 small deer has a season limit so is interesting to see how Americans do it.
Check out your state website. Or most sporting goods stores have regulation booklets that can get you the information. If you never hunted turkey, I will tell you it is extremely fun.
Yes, but it can be different based on what state you are in. Here in Virginia, we get 3 turkey tags per year. We have a spring and a fall season. In the spring, you can only take bearded (male) turkeys, but in the fall, it is either sex. Of the three tags we get, no more than 2 can be used in the fall. All 3 can be used in the spring, or you can break them up and get like 2 in the spring and one in the fall
Great factory choke, great overboard barrel, great load!
Yeah, it definitely seems to be a pretty good combination!
Extremely good for # 4 lead .
Yep, sure is!
That is impressive...
Yeah, I'd agree!
That is very good for 4s
Yep, I'd agree
Nice tight pattern and load.
Yep, definitely!
That was a CRUSHER LOAD.
Yeah, definitely!

Yeah, it's been pretty impressive so far, so we'll see how it does as we continue to test it
Hows about recoil out that bad boy!! Thanks for thakin the bashin!
It's not quite as bad as a 3.5" buckshot load, but yeah, it's definitely still pretty stout
I don’t think it gets better than that.
Yep, it's definitely pretty impressive!
3.5 inch, OUCH! That's like 60 lbs. of recoil.
Yeah, they are pretty stout shells
My 835 came with that same choke and it patterned 4's the best and 5's coming in a close second and 6's patterned like absolute garbage out of my gun
