My favourite band. They were untouchable in the early 70's but the great albums they have pushed out over the last decade and now touching 80 years old are such a gift.
You are so right, Ian Paice is so underrated, but then so is Deep Purple. Have you seen the live video of Paice's solo on the Mule? You see his jazz influence. I like this tune and the more l hear it the more l like it. I'd cut a long story short but it's much too late for that. Yeah. Peace.
Been listening to Purple since '72 and they are my all time favorite band closely followed by Black Sabbath. What I've heard so far is instant DP classic stuff. Fantastic.
I'm 66 so I go way back with Deep Purple. Always loved Blackmore but, I actually like Steve Morse better. I wish he was still in Purple. All the albums with Morse are FANTASTIC!!
Maravillosos, verdad? Tengo 69 años y los he seguido por más de 50. Mi primer vinilo fué The Machine Head 😊. 💜💜💜💜💜
The main reason Simon McBride got to replace Morse was that Simon played in Don Aireys band, and Aireys band used and uses to support Gillan on his solo tours. I agree somewhat what your saying about Morse, mainly his too many fast runs. Glover says that Bob Ezrin "forced" Morse to play with less fast runs, and that Morse had a lot of respect for Ezrin's view, but never when the Purple guys asked him to do the same thing :-) But since Morse have arthritis since years back he has to slow that down anyway. As we say in Sweden: There's nothing bad that don't have any good to it:-)
Since McBride joined the band I have seen a few anti- Morse comments. In my opinion Steve Morse played beautifully in the band- listen to ‘Sometimes I Feel Like Screaming’…
@@stephengoulding1595 No doubt, Morse is a brilliant guitarist. I totally enjoyed all albums with him. But my main thing negatively about him is that he live tends to do to many runs for my likings. But I'm not anywhere close to not bee a Morse fan despite that. I even have a bracelet with a guitar string that Morse played at least 10 purple gig with :-)
@@CB-xr1eg Well, as I wrote these (capital) letters which ended up in a word, or better a name, he didn´t mention SATRIANI who replaced Blackmore in 1993 and was in the band until 1994/95 before Morse joined. Is that enough point? Also Blackmore didn´t replace Bolin, the band broke up in 1976 and was reunited with blackmore in 1984.
@@vectragt2310 To be honest every true Deep Purple fan knows about what you have said, including myself. So your points mean nothing. Don't try to tell me anything about Deep Purple, there is nothing I do not know. For instance...Satriani wasn't a true band member, he just joined them to replace Blackmore on the tour, as Blackmore had quit and left the band in trouble. When the tour finished Satriani left them to continue his solo project.

Hi and thanks for the comment. The reasons most reactors make comments during the video is so that we don't forget to mention something, and also so we can point things out as the video progresses.

Top notch.
Blackmore purist! Justified…
Nice Irish vibe just like Gary Moore and Thin Lizzy. Great tune.
Good to see you back my friend but I don't think this one will become my fav Deep Purple tune
Yeah man had a break for a bit doing some other things. Good tune, glad to see them still kicking it. Interested to hear the new album.

Bla Bla Bla... Blackmore left in 1993 and then SATRIANI stepped in for the rest of the tour..
Bolin is a few decades prior.
Is rhere a point to your comment or did you just decide to Bal Bla Bla?
