They say to remove the derailleur protector because if you drop the bike or fall off it then it could cause the frame to bend or break
I switched to Bmx handlebars , and removed the throttle ( new grips). I got it connected and disabled in a little bag on the rack. When I’m out from everything I just attach it with simple tools and have fun then remove it again in the city. A little cumbersome but it would hurt more to get it seized and I don’t really use the throttle that much

hello, i’ve watched a lot of videoes on this bike, all the reviews says it’s a 750W, but whenever i click on the link they put in the description, it says it’s a 250W, what’s the matter of this..?

@@diggingfordinnercan you have a look at the hub, does it say the wattage. Either 250 or 500 should be on it. And it may not have w next to it

@@diggingfordinner oh right. I'm thinking of one. If I leave the settings on at 15 mph but if for some bizarre reason cops look at the bike and see 750w on the hub and then they say the bike is not legal.
I can say to them it is not a banned bike because it is legal to go off road and change the settings to higher.
It's like a dual function bike
I can't see them confiscating a bike just because it says 750 on it. Then again I could set it at 25 and just do 15 anyway but that could land me in it.
So if it is set at 15, the computer restricts it to 15 even tho it says 750.
Could set it to 20 and they might not tell the difference between 15 and 20 so could get away with that. Probably I would only need a slightly higher setting and just use it on hills
May have missed it, but any idea on real life range when paddling along a bit (so not only on throttle?)
It's annoying isn't it? Most reviewers think people interested in e-bikes are just interest in max speed and using the throttle exclusively. I'd like to be able to point you to a video that answers your question but unfortunately I don't think one exists.
