Great summary and review! I really appreciate, how much information and insight you can squeeze into 8 minutes. This must take a lot of planning. Thanks a lot!
Thank you, that really means a lot! Some of my reviews are more like video essays, some are me talking at a screen, but most are this blend of both, largely scripted and (hopefully) really tight. It takes a lot of work but I think it pays off. Hope it was helpful regarding the game!
@@TheCardboardHerald It was really helpful, but unfortunately I am still not sure, if I should get it. It seems like the kind of game, you need a steady group of people willing to put a lot of effort in and to play it again and again to learn about all its intricacies. In this regard it seems to me like root. I really appreciate the design, but until now I tried it with 3 different groups and never managed to get it back to the table with the same group. And maybe it is a little too conflict oriented for me and my girlfriend, so I think I should give it a pass, even though I would love to try it with someone who owns it. It just looks so beautiful on the table and so cleverly designed. Thanks again for your review and reply!
"My respect for the game outweighs the fun I have in playing it"... Sounds like me and Root. Which makes me both super excited and somewhat reluctant to want to get Pax Pamir 2E.
Thank you for saying so! The game really is jaw dropping and super clever. Not for everyone, but for people who like this type of thing, it's really, really cool.
Great review. Straight to the point and easy to understand. I appreciate how you talk about your opinion more than the actual rules of play which is why I come to a review rather than a "how to play" video.
Honestly, I don't think they are doing very wide distribution on this game, but then again I don't think Wehrlegig was expecting it to be the critical darling that it is, so maybe they'll have wider distribution. What country are you in?
@@TheCardboardHerald Poland. As much as I love games with historical themes (especially niche ones like this) they tend to skip countries with non-major boardgame markets. Especially when their complexity is that high.
Nicely done clip about a game I’ve never heard of before but sounds really cool - pity it’s ruined by the background music (why do editors feel the ‘urge’ to do that?) Anyway, thanks for your insight.

This is such a good review on a game I have never heard about. I am really excited!

I like a depth of this review! Thank you.
Hands down my favorite game from last year, possibly period.
Love your reviews!
awake323 thank you, that means so much!
The game looks like my cup of tea. Hopefully some publisher will pick it up in my country...
