It's been a while. So hyped!
Oops. in another comment I displayed my ignorance re Kalandra being a long standing BAND of 4 Norwegians. Which I'm now following on Facebook. I'm curious, though - the lyrics sites tend to give song writer credits, and I've found none for the couple of Kalandra songs I've looked up! Does the whole band contribute more or less equally to their ethereal sound and the lyrics that speak so strongly to this ancient Baby Boomer's gut along MANY dimensions, not just the political stuff that first caught my attention... wonderful work, Kalandra!

It is undeniable that with the advent of the "Online Era", a lot of voices became much louder and much more influential, that sould've never been given clout and platform. Humanity as a collective species are hopelessly underprepared and overexposed to dangerous ideas which lead to hate, violence, divide, and even more divide. It's very difficult to stand for something, and NOT receive hate for it from others. Not even the idea of love can escape the scorn of the masses. Some will heed the calling, other will loath it, thinking "that love is not for us, it's for our enemies only".
I believe that we must overcome the binds of tribalistic thinking if we want to survive an age where a single tweet or video can entice millions to take up arms against one another. Luckily, music like this one reminds me that we're not alone with these thoughts, we share a common yearning for peace and compassion. Thank you for brightening my day once again Kalandra!
