Every AFS user should see this video ! I read product reviews on the Neptune AFS before watching this video, and the concerns of almost every reviewer were addressed in this video. For most, the solution is here. Yup, there are realities. It’s not silent, but BRS gets to the common sense fix, set it to feed when you are not around. Thanks guys ! The Roman’s may have coined “caveat emptor” (buyer beware) for shoppers, but nothing beats research and reading the instructions! Jim
This whole time I just thought I was pulling it off wrong...thanks for the video. I'm surprised that a better design method to refill auto feeder wasn't built.
I found the minimum setting on the slider to be way too minimum. The difference between “closed” and click 2 is more than you’d think. Scrapping of a little plastic from the orange food door with a razor was the ticket to success for me.
Great advice. Auto feeders are a great tool to provide small, but frequent meals for our fish throughout the day without having to be there all the time.
I regret purchasing the Neptune Auto Feeder. The design is flawed, especially when it comes to removing the container. The lid is the part you have to pull on to remove the container, which is a disaster waiting to happen. Every time I try to refill or clean it, the entire container tilts or jerks, inevitably spilling food everywhere-right into my tank! This poor design causes more mess and stress than convenience. It’s incredibly frustrating and completely defeats the purpose of an auto feeder. Save yourself the hassle and avoid this product.

Amazing Videos!
My AFS seems to be a lot noisier than the local store's unit. It's really no big deal but I found it curious.
Nice vid! Can we group feed mode with feeding time?
You bet! It takes a little programing, but can absolutely be done.
🏅
have it go off when you are not around.... if i am around i can give food to my fish..... wtf..

Did you watch the video? The first thing they tell you is to pull the unit off your tank to refill.
