- Here is a look at how I built my racing pigeons nest box fronts. These racing pigeon nest box fronts have worked great in my loft!
Also a look at a new breeder for 2022 direct from Ganus Family Loft! This is the first racing pigeon I have received directly from Mike Ganus.
That was the best..

Has anyone asked for the dimensions / plans of your boxes and fronts?
Yes, all the time!
Ok lol. Do you have plans available?
How did I guess that question was coming?😁 the boxes are 23” wide, 15” high, 15” deep. The fronts are just under 12” tall. I do not have plans for them unfortunately. Whenever I need to make another set I use one as my blueprint.

The first comment is GO WILDCATS! DID YOU SEE THE GAME LAST NIGHT! secondly, the angle of the video the BB head looks flat like a hen, just an observation. Thirdly what happens when you don't have a neighbor with all the cool finishing wood saws to build these nest fronts? FINAL FOUR IN LUTE'S MEMEMORY!
Sadly I missed the game 😢, but still have fingers crossed for them! That is a good observation on that bird-I can definitely see that.
Ha! Yeah, if you don’t have a friend with a decked out woodworking shop I suppose your options are, make due with a limited set of tools (everything we did could painstakingly be done with a table saw and drill, but that would be a pain!), or have someone to do it for you. I have received more requests to purchase these fronts since I posted this video 😆 and am now commissioned to make a few more sets 🪚

Haha! Some truth to that I suppose. Always trying to improve our breeding stock but you’ll note that we are not targeting one specific breeder or bloodline. Just the best that we can get from diverse sources. Hopefully it will pay off 😁

My old neighbor loved building all types of birdhouses and he build one of the shape of Illinois and I still have it to this day I couldn’t let the beauty of it get ruin outdoors love the birds and videos
