All this entire film shows one main thing: things get worse in stages, things will crumble and all hope may seem lost. But with a great mindset and character, the hero rises back to show what's the real power of determination
"A hero can be anyone, even a man doing something as simple and reassuring as putting a coat around a young boys shoulders to let him know the world hadn't ended"
Can we just talk about how meaningful 1:00 is? It was played at the beginning of the the first movie and I love how it can mean a lot of things and DOES mean a lot of things, Blake losing Bruce as a father of sorts, the little boy who lost his parents getting a happy ending, Bruce rising above the need for batman, the final moments of a legend. So much meaning from a child singing, which is even more fitting when you know that the child singing was the actor for child bruce himself.
This is masterpiece from mr.Nolan..still carried away with Nolan & Bale Batman..no matter how many Batman movies was release after The Dark Knight Rises..still can't topped this masterpiece....
i did not even like matt reeve's the batman, i would say it's about on par with the dark knight rises, and doesn't even touch batman begins or the dark knight
"It means your hatred, It means losing someone I've cared for since I first heard his cries echo though this house. But it may also mean saving your life, and that is more important."
Periodically over the past 10 years I've come back to TH-cam videos featuring this song. It has always been one of the most inspirational videos that must exist on the platform: reading the comments and all the people encouraging others to overcome their fears and their obstacles in life is nothing short of amazing. The power of emotion and Hans Zimmer combined with the symbol of the bat is without equal in cinema, at least for me
This music really gives you Batman's heroic sense. Never giving up. Unbelievable score from Hans Zimmer. Batman really feels much more than a man in a costume, he is a hero, a Dark Knight.
P.O. - I don't think in future any Superhero Movie can able to build it's impact on Audience as much as The Dark Knight Trilogy. We are seeing so many superhero Movies and also will get so many in Future, They all are performing phenomenal on Box Office too but neither of them able to build the impact of it's legacy in audience minds like this ”Masterpeice".
This is the most inspiring musical piece ever. It is Batman's final message to the people and their descendants. It starts with Batman jumping into the chaos and saving the city. Flying the nuclear bomb out into the ocean. Everything he experienced in life has lead to this final moment. His parent's deaths, losing the love of his life and getting his soul crushed by finding out she wouldn't have been with him even if she survived. Being branded as a murderer and condemned by the very people he devoted his entire being toward. Alfred had always warned Bruce to invest time and effort into his own life and less into Batman so he could find happiness. But Bruce never listened to him, until Bane broke Batman. He was maimed and unable to resort back to his alternate persona, forcing Bruce to face his demons and heal his own soul. He became a man motivated and unrelenting. Like a Phoenix rising from the ashes, he returned to his city and took the league of shadows out without hesitation. In his final moments, Batman is at peace with his death. He is witnessed by every individual in Gotham being a hero. The ultimate redemption for a symbol that will carry on with the people. His legacy will prosper. We see Batman sacrifice himself and give everything he had. However, Bruce lived on giving Alfred the one thing he truly desired, to know that he made it and was happy. The story telling told through the music is absolutely amazing. TDK trilogy is the greatest of all time!
An incredibly rare universe. After all the tribulations, the loss, and the pain....this is the one universe where Bruce Wayne...gets a happy ending. The one universe, where Batman...finds peace.
Although this music is for the Dark Knight Rises Every time I hear this piece, I think of all the Batmans Adam west Micheal Keaton Val Kilmer Christian Bale Ben Affleck Robert Pattinson The Legendary voice actor Kevin Conroy Goes to show how far the Batman has come!
The movie may not have been upto the prequel level but from 0:45 onwards, honestly it was emotional. I listen to it everytime & I can think of that scene where the bat is carrying the bomb, with Batman in it & Blake looking at the bat, it is very emotional. Hans Zimmer killed it.
When I got the whole The Dark Knight Rises' OST so much years ago, I edited two themes of it into one (only for my personal use, of course): "Rise" and "The End", in this order. Precisely I called it so, "Rise at the End". You should try to make the same edit and see what happens to you when you hear it. Nolan's Batman is not a trilogy, is a heavenly event. Hans Zimmer's OSTs for the three movies too.
And i like that that's when the music starts to become a bit more optimistic. Implying that Fox is aware that Bruce could actually still be alive out there somewhere

It’s not the hero necessarily. It’s what they represent and how that can impact people to do the same in real life. And in this scene Batman/Bruce represents kindness, sacrifice, and selflessness. He is a symbol after all.
All this entire film shows one main thing: things get worse in stages, things will crumble and all hope may seem lost. But with a great mindset and character, the hero rises back to show what's the real power of determination

You better not. It’s just one movie

I watched this movie twice in the cinema. A masterpiece, the three films of course.
