Loved the well deserved Bo Melton breakdown. He’s super talented & his effort jumps off the screen whenever he does anything. There was one play where he caught the ball, immediately turned up field and fought through defenders when he looked exactly like DD. My brother and I texted each other simultaneously making the same comparison. Anybody sleeping on Melton is blind & foolish. He can do anything Reed can do, and maybe more because he’s faster. What a problem Lefleur has finding plays & snaps for a receiver room that’s 5 deep with legitimately good players. It’s going to be a great season. I can’t wait…GPG!!
July 3rd, Bo Melton Appreciation Day, I love it!!!!!
I heard a radio interview with Bo last year after one of our big wins. I became an immediate fan due to his maturity and character that shone through in that brief five minutes. It also is very apparent that the young guys genuinely care about each other and the Team. Bo knows....and GO PACK GO 😎
After watching all of Bo Melton’s snaps, would you still rank him #29? As I commented on your top 30 rankings video, I ranked Bo Melton higher, at 18 (not 29): the dude can play, I think he’d start most years for the Packers, even 2011. He gets open, he catches the ball, can run after the catch, play inside and out, and can even block; can fly and open the field for other players, so he actually makes them better. Thanks for doing this episode! Great offseason content!
Last season, there was perhaps no better story in Green Bay’s locker room than Bo Melton, who broke out during the Packers playoff push after spending a majority of the year on the team’s practice squad. In fact, Bo Melton wasn’t even on Green Bay’s 53-man roster when he became the 1st Packers receiver to register a 100-yard game in 2023 after his 6-catch, 105-yard performance in a 33-10 thrashing of the Vikings on New Year’s Eve. The Packers signed him to the active roster the following day. While Bo Melton faced a steep climb up the NFL ladder as a former 7th-round NFL draft pick, Matt Lafluer mentioned the elite intangible the former Rutgers standout possesses: Speed. Bo Melton clocked a 4.34 time in the 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine in 2022, a value asset he’s used to threaten the top of the defense like he did on Tuesday. He just needed the opportunity. Bo Melton 1st joined the Green Bay Packers roster as a late-season signing in 2022 but came up short in his bid to make the roster last summer after the Green Bay Packers drafted 3 receivers for the 2nd consecutive year. Bo Melton has similar speed to Christian Watson and has better hands, and if he gets the reps with a crowded receiver on the field, he could definitely put up some numbers. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛
The sky is the limit for this offense this season. Barring injuries and consistent OL play, they could put up some ridiculous numbers this year.
Absolutely perfect timing!
Glad someone sees what I see in Bo, he'll be a great asset on whatever the PACK can use him for, glad the management has drafted low key guys that will pick your defense apart....
Andy’s love for Bo Melton is surpassing the Tim Boyle era and I’m here for it haha
Love the enthusiasm on this one, Andy! 😁
I really hope Bo can have a very long career with the Packers. Its is a feel good story and with his attitude, well deserved.
Good Bo Melton content!!
Bo knows, Andy. Thanks for the breakdown. I love you.
Melton reminds me of Donald Driver and not just because of the shared numerals. It's the effort. He has good hangs, nimble feet and runs solid routes. He's a relentless gamer.
Perhaps THE most charming thing about this channel is how much Andy loves Bo Melton.
Beautiful work
I usually put up my Bo Melton Day Flag around mid-June. Great Bo Melton Day is finally here.
I couldn’t believe how wide open Melton was last year on many of his catches.
I couldn’t either. And he was open a lot when he didn’t get the ball.
Bo fn Melton!
Absolutely love this video!
If Bo has a break out year then I demand you make this an annual event
My personal favorite Wr Fir Greenbay
I've been saying for months that their is a top 5 in the WRs room. Bo Melton clearly surpassed Malik Heath and unlike many Packers fans I don't think keeping Heath as a 6th is a given due to the numbers crunch the depth on this roster presents. Heath does have a good skillset and has a path onto the roster as his physicality should translate well to special teams but IMO he needs to secure a role on special teams to make the roster. Without special teams Heath won't be active on gameday and there are numerous practice squad WR candidates capable of filling an emergency injury replacement role if necessary. Roster bubble WRs are plentiful around the league meaning that they may be easier to get onto the practice squad than some of the depth at other positions. I'm not trying to disparage Heath but I'd challenge anyone saying he's a roster lock to do the math of projecting a 53 man roster and I think it's clear that he's on the bubble along with a number of other talented players from a variety of position groups. Heath is not only competing with the other WRs to secure a WR6 spot but also with QB3, OL10, DL10 (likely Brenton Cox) and numerous positions that typically provide better special teams return like TE (Tyler Davis), LB (Wilson/Welch), S (Zayne Anderson), CB (King/Rochell).
Been saying since we grabbed him his rookie year that he needs to play, and I'll be damned that boy can PLAY
I seriously heard the same thing about Toure at the beginning of last year from everyone too ..
I hope the Packers find a way to get the most out of the plethora of skilled wide receivers currently on the roster. Im hoping to see the Packers field the best receiving core and the most prolific passing game in the league. They wont be able to keep all this talent long term but in the meantime they have to maximize their depth.
How many years of team control do the Packers have on Melton? Can't remember how these pratice squad call ups work
Bo Melton is a steal in late rounds of best ball and dynasty drafts!
BoMeltonLover gone lose his mind when he sees this.
Was looking for this comment 😂😂
Miles Melton 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Between Bo Melton and Malik Heath, I can't tell you who I like better. And Grant Dubose is no clown, even though injuries killed his preseason efforts to make the roster last year. Talk about an embarrassment of riches. But what Melton has that makes him special is that speed, almost like Christian Watson.
The Packers have a balls shortage. They must’ve just gotten out of the pool. 😂
Yo didn't make the Bo Melton "Dropped Pass" vs the Vikings more dramatic in your narrative than I thought you would've. It was a 4th down play!!! Wasn't it 😢
Bo Freaking Melton is WR1
How did Seattle let this man go?
What a problem to have…he needs to learn how to slow down. 🎉
So gets left out at the WR position? I mean we cant have breakout seasons from Watson, Reed, Wicks, Doubs AND Melton: there simply arent enough balls to go around
At the end of the year they had a pretty healthy rotation going. I kinda see that continuing moving forward. Also injuries ext. I'd say he's likely 5th in the pecking order to start but if he keeps making plays it will be hard to keep him off the field.
Ill take our group of skill position players over any other group in the league. Yeah other teams might have 2 names but none r top to bottom like the Pack. GO PACK
It would be nice if you are breaking down a player to show the film and analyze it on the show. Just my opinion.
Andy needs no evidence to make this and all his videos credible.
