Hello, I started learning the guitar at the age of 67. I still don't know any notes today, but I do have a few fingerings. When I'm sad or I'm sagging, I take my guitar and just play a few notes and then I feel better. I'll never be able to play as beautifully as Gabriella, but when you paint a picture you will never reach the level of Titian or other great painters and still you are happy when you paint and you are happy with the result. It's fun and when I want to hear perfect playing, I listen to Gabriella without envy. That gives me pleasure. I greet Gabriella and all viewers of this video! Ernst from Germany

Then if you want to learn it you should look closely at her fretting hand positions. She is substituting her first finger to barre the upper register parts - she has the advantage of long, agile fingers ( she is quite a tall person ) and has supple fretting fingers to hammer on /pull off at the same time barring the chord. Meanwhile her fingerpicking is selecting the correct notes. Combining fretting/ picking requires talent and practice. I imagine she spends hours doing the latter.

Me too I miss my brother that died on July 3 1987 the same month and day as Brian's Brian Jones of The Rolling, he died on July 3, 1969! And my dad died 15 years ago too so did my favorite two uncles they died a year after my father did! My uncle Johnny the one that died used to play harmonica and guitar he also played The Beatles songs and other songs too at his parties we used to go to!
No gimmicks. No short skirt. No low cut top. Just pure amazing talent. I watched videos of Gabriella made 6 years prior to this. You can see she is more confident in her playing; she now looks up into the camera which she never did 6 years prior to this. This is one of my favorite Beatles songs and it remains that way after hearing Gabriella's playing.

It's perfectly synchronously played to her finger movements, so it could be that it's not playback. However, for something played outdoor, there is absolutely no ambient sound, like from the light wind that you see. So it must have been recorded via pickup, not via mic setup. I see no cable, however... 🤔

The Country was very stressed and students were overwhelmed by the war in general and by the draft in particular and there are still many Vietnam Veterans alive who are scarred by the war. Your wonderful arrangement of "Here Comes the Sun" and your youthful beauty brought back a bitter sweet memory of the past, your rendition of the song and excellent finger picking reminded me of those past years when we had an old guitar and "Tried" to play the Beatles Songs, not knowing what tomorrow would have in store for my friends and I,. This was 55 years ago when I was 21 years old and a freshman foreign student at San Jose State University. I am now 76 and a retired Civil Engineer and your music this evening was just so refreshing in bringing back those past memories of many friends who have died and others who have moved on throughout the past decades. This is my favorite Beatle song of all time, in fact my favorite song, period I grew up playing guitar and I always love playing this song, in fact at a party several years ago I played it and one of the guests said it was the best cover he'd heard since he saw George Harrison play it at MSG years before. Anyway, I was diagnosed with throat cancer about three years ago, and while the doctors seem to have defeated the cancer, the treatment left me with a few very tough side effects....the peripheral neuropathy from the chemo lef my hands and feet pretty numb and painful...playing the guitar is like torture, the radiation destroyed my sense of taste, salivation and ability to sing....so I was honored and heartbroken when my middle daughter asked if I would record a version of HCTS for her wedding march song. I practiced and tried, but I knew I'd never be able to play it from beginning to end with my hands cramping up and ruining it. A good friend with a very nice little recording setup in his attic came to the rescue. With him at the panel we were able to record an instrumental version of the song (NOT AS AMAZING AS YOURS) in several different pieces and then just stich them all together. It wasn't great, but it was acceptable and they played it as my daughter walked down the aisle. For several reasons it was one of the proudest moments of my life. You are beautiful and your playing is inspirational....never stop, and cherish every minute of it, you never know when it might be taken away.

This is my favorite Beatle song of all time, in fact my favorite song, period
I grew up playing guitar and I always love playing this song, in fact at a party several years ago I played it and one of the guests said it was the best cover he'd heard since he saw George Harrison play it at MSG years before.
Anyway, I was diagnosed with throat cancer about three years ago, and while the doctors seem to have defeated the cancer, the treatment left me with a few very tough side effects....the peripheral neuropathy from the chemo lef my hands and feet pretty numb and painful...playing the guitar is like torture, the radiation destroyed my sense of taste, salivation and ability to sing....so I was honored and heartbroken when my middle daughter asked if I would record a version of HCTS for her wedding march song.
I practiced and tried, but I knew I'd never be able to play it from beginning to end with my hands cramping up and ruining it.
A good friend with a very nice little recording setup in his attic came to the rescue. With him at the panel we were able to record an instrumental version of the song (NOT AS AMAZING AS YOURS) in several different pieces and then just stich them all together. It wasn't great, but it was acceptable and they played it as my daughter walked down the aisle.
For several reasons it was one of the proudest moments of my life.
You are beautiful and your playing is inspirational....never stop, and cherish every minute of it, you never know when it might be taken away.
