This is my ever best gold hunting machine . No hassle you can get any size of gold at any time . Not like the minelab we ich is a pain in the .... Not able to do this in only one set up .This machine even allows me to make after a audio learning curve , the difference between a aluminum pull tab and a gold ring . I can tell , as I also had a whites TDI SL pulse wich is less deep and has less audio différenciation capabilities .
This is the best test of a metal detector i have ever seen on youtube or anywhere , thank you very much... i was wondering how it would do in mineralized soil and with the deepseeker. Also you maybe forgot to show how the non motion mode would be on these targets,,, well it was close to the ultimate test , thanks again.
Lol, Yea that NMM is a bit cranky near town. I did a new short video of it on my channel of using the NMM in the bush and to see how stable it is. Will do more NMM test soon...
Impressive test. Thanks for the test/video Bearkat. Do you know how bad the ground is for the test? Did you happen to see what the ground mineral number would read on an ATP Gold?
Any test soon with the deepseeker coil? Would love that . As i am aiming for the deep nuggets close to/on the bedrock , and no i wont miss the smaller more shallow nuggets as i could change coil and work the patch again.
Andy, I don't have the real big coil yet...hope to get it soon though, I exchanged it for the 8" mono instead when I ordered, which I need more in my area of hunting. Thanks.
The XP ORX with the HF coil Gold Prospecting coil hit a 4.6 gram nugget in Arizona at 18" inches + and it was a loud woof woof ........No headphones ...... I sold my ATX ......
Esa máquina e extraordinária. Foi em 2013 que postou ese videio ainda tem a máquina. ? Dificilmente alguém se destaca faz de uma máquina como esta . Até porque nuca estraga né. Muita qualidade excelente.
I love your effort. I am confused to buy my first metal detector now I finalised ATX I am living in Pakistan please guide me where to buy this product.
would like to see how much noise would be produced while swinging before it comes across the object. another words would there be enough difference to dig. thanks for the vid.
Yes; it was a bit noisier while scanning as I did not ground balance during the test much to get max depth. I think if it was just and inch or so less deep, you would investigate the sound more. At the max depths it can a bit tricky as it could sound like ground noise if you have the ground balance a little hot. You must have fast forwarded a bit because in the video I did a bit of scanning to the target...
Works fine in pasture. It DOES NOT have a disc mode. But it has disc adjustments and it will lose depth the more you turn it up. Best to use audio disc or reverse disc adjustment to keep it at full power.
Bearkat4160 how much depth it lose to dis out iron? carnt u set it up so it will just churp on iron? so u dont have to set it up high? i live where there is alot of iron u see. i also owned the infinium, but i hated how bulky and heavy it was. lol
Wayne Shepherd The best way to check iron is use the iron check feature. It is fast and accurate. It is just a push of a button - but if you try to disc out iron on a pulse detector you will pretty much miss every thing else that is worth anything. The ATX is heavier than the Infinium but better balanced, it does not bother me at all. Just a very powerful easy to use detector compared to paying $6000 for a Minelab.
Bearkat4160 thanks for the reply, shame u havnt tested a copper UK coin, say Penny or Half penny size! i wounder how it perform's with a copper coin. =P
That's one deep detector. I love my AT Pro, but I don't think it will go that deep. I wouldn't want to dig that deep anyway. It would wear me out. Thanks for posting the video.
That is my combo I use in the field but one is a VLF and one detector is pulse induction....can't really compare. But the hotter the dirt the more likely you should grab the ATX.

Good day comrade. Please tell me, which is better in depth:- GARRETT ATX or GARRET AT GOLD ?
bro,you have to scan before you burie the coin ,so we know it is nothing there before.

But you have the scan thingy for the most silent freq. or ?? :P
Impressive test. Thanks for the test/video Bearkat. Do you know how bad the ground is for the test? Did you happen to see what the ground mineral number would read on an ATP Gold?
Yes my AT Gold number for ground balance was around 80 usually.

thanks for your time best test on youtube so far.

You should try the Non-Motion mode on some of those iffy signals. It should give a little better signal.
Yea ;I just did a quick demo of using that mode out in the bush...check it out on my channel.
thanks for the video mate
God bless

Hi Bearkat4160 thanks for the video. could u by any chance. do the depth test with the discrimination on and off on the silver coin. Thank's
Yes Wayne, I will do a Silver test with the ATX soon! Coin and Nugget form...
I love your effort. I am confused to buy my first metal detector now I finalised ATX I am living in Pakistan please guide me where to buy this product.
