Having used the ATX (I am the first guy in the video) I must say the machine is a major player in high mineralized soil. I paid my own money to attend DIV - and was somewhat uncomfortable using a new machine (the trip generally costs $750 when you add up all expenses). I gave the ATX a shot on day 1, had my trusty PI machine (Whites TDI) in my truck just waiting. If I did not feel comfortable digging I would quickly go back to that machine - the TDI stayed in the truck all weekend long. It did not take more than 30 minutes to realize that this machine (the ATX) had major advantages that my other PI did not have. I dug more in 3 days at the first DIV that week than many dug during both back-to-back hunts.

I'd love to see this machine in UK pasture to see how it performs. If anyone can direct me to videos using ATX in UK pasture I'd really appreciate it - looks like an interesting machine and I love how it folds right down, great design.
I have a few quite clean sites (low trash) which have produced some nice finds but if I could go a little deeper there would be some cracking stuff come up.
