    The IR receiver (for the remote controller signal) is at the rear of the toilet. If there is a shelf above the rear, the signal is impeded. I had to put a mirror behind the toilet for the remote to work from where it was placed, in front of the toilet.

      Thanks for the tip! That's a great solution! We've had others with similar issues in the past. We're starting to hear/see units with RF instead of IR remotes come to the market, which eliminates these issues.

    Great video! Very informative. I was not aware that you can not sit on the lid if you wanted to. Are you able to sit on the lid of the Toto 700h?

    • @ManyBidets
      @ManyBidets  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks! Sadly none of the Neorest units offer sittable lids, but because they auto open, it's not something most poeple tend to really find problematic. The big plus to the 700H is the much larger and much more comfortable seat. Please let me know if any other questions come up! Also, reach out if you decide to buy, we'll make sure you get a discount :-)

      You're very welcome! I thought I saw a message from you about other TOTO integrated units that were less expensive. If you're OK with limited warm water and a weaker flush, check out the www.manybidets.com/product/toto-g400-washlet-with-integrated-toilet/ Let me know if you have any other questions!

      @@ManyBidets I see, which bowl would that be? I can see Le Muse, Omni+ and Urbanique models listed in my country. So sorry I'm buying the toilet from Asia so there's no practical way I can support your business..

      @@garygohmusic It's ok, I appreciate the kind thought. I'm not sure if any of these models are available in your country, as we really focus on the US and Canada markets. Sorry I can't be of more help :-/

    My biggest pet peeve with the noerest toilet is the lid will sometimes close at the worst moment (like in the middle of a piss). Really annoying!

    • @ManyBidets
      @ManyBidets  ปีที่แล้ว

      We've actually run into this exact same problem ourselves and agree, it is frustrating! When auto open/close is enabled the unit is sensing our movement and uses that data to determine when to open or close. If we're not moving enough the unit may close before we're ready for it too. This feature can be disabled using the instructions in the user manual if it becomes too frustrating.

    Should the toilet clogged and I go out to my customer and auger the toilet, will that internal flapper be an issue for me?

    • @ManyBidets
      @ManyBidets  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the question! TOTO does not recommend using an auger on neorest toilets due to the flapper. With that being said, because of the power of the flush, in the 8 years we've been in business, I've not heard of any issues with the noerest toilets clogging while connected to power. In situations where it clogged with the manual flush (which I've run into twice in 8 years) the clog cleared itself with one flush once the pump assisted flush was back online. Let me know if you have any other questions!

    Where is it recommended to put the remote control for easy access? Is there a holder to fix it on the wall?

    • @ManyBidets
      @ManyBidets  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      There is a holder that the remote snaps into. The remote can also be permanently fixed to the holder using a pair of screws if so desired. Generally speaking, mounting the remote about eye height (when seated on the toilet) works best, but it's a judgment call. When you're ready to purchase. Reach out! We're happy to help you get your perfect toilet :-)

    For the rich or who care about design,
    it's good product.
    But repair costs is so expensive.

    • @ManyBidets
      @ManyBidets  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the feedback! We tend to see TOTO's Neorest line lasting close to a decade without the need for any repairs what so ever. Repairs vary in price when they come up. There are cheap repairs, but you are correct, some of the repairs have the possibility of costing a decent amount. Because of how long these units last however, most customers we talk to never run into needing to worry about repairs.
