    Used a similar one to this almost 30 years ago in Mexico City at a relative’s house. It was a Japanese model made by Panasonic. It included warm water settings for women and men, warm seat, and warm air drying.

      How long have you had it and how is it aging? I've wanted one since visiting Japan >6 years ago but my biggest concern is dropping such a big amount on a toilet for it to break a week out of warranty. Doing my downstairs toilet in the new year.

    • @MrEspadrilles
      @MrEspadrilles ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@samrufflecoles Still no issues, sometimes very rarely the unit won't register remote inputs and will forget previous settings re: temp etc but this is usually a sign batteries are low in remote. I'd like to try and get a spare remote in case I can drop it on a tiled floor. But yeah no issues at all other than that really .

    Depending on how your bathroom is laid out there is a very effective "poor" mans alternative. It is an up turned power shower head ... 100% effective and zero extra cost. The benefit of a thorough wash down after a number 2 cannot be over stated. In the UK we are decades behind other civilised countries on this matter.

    Hi. Debbie Downer here. What happens when the internet goes down? Or there's a power cut? Or you can't pay the fuel bills? Or something goes wrong? Is it a lot more difficult & expensive? One thing I have learned about technology is that when it goes wrong it usually is. (See wind-up car windows v electric windows/wing mirrors etc...) And there's a chronic computer chip shortage at the moment too. 😊🚽

    • @VitrABathrooms1
      @VitrABathrooms1 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Sally. The internet won't affect the V-Care, so if your internet goes down you'll still be able to use your V-Care with the remote. If your power goes off, you can still use the V-Care like you would a normal WC toilet, but just without the bidet features. Hope that clears things up for you 🚽

  • @newleft2254
    @newleft2254 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    This toilet has one massive error - it flushes before the lid goes down. That means your poo particles are being sprayed all over the toilet. The whole point of a lid is to shut the toilet and then flush. That’s the single most important hygiene feature and it’s in the wrong order. What a shame.

    • @Mriya6
      @Mriya6 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Bollucks. I've never put the lid down in my entire life, and I hate it when people do. All it does is add an unnecessary extra step to the act of sitting down. Plus it traps the smell of the last person's crap in the bowl where it otherwise would have dissapated hours ago. Putting the lid down is a total waste of time

    • @newleft2254
      @newleft2254 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Mriya6 Continue spraying shit particles on your toothbrush and other cosmetics lying around. If you want to be disgusting you are most free to be so. The lid is designed to keep the splashes down and some of us are civilised enough to make use of it . The end.

    I like the idea of everything except the cleaning of self part, as I’d think it would be unhygienic ironically. Anything being rinsed off you would drop down onto the wand and surrounds and be sprayed back up, but it’d also be everyone else’s dirt if your guests used it.
