I had the pleasure of talking with Chris while setting up for a photo shoot...the funny thing was, I had only seen heavily produced album cover photos of him....Didn't know it was him!! Thought it was a road crew or other band member. Talked about the local hunting and fishing mostly. Got done setting up and THANKFULLY stepped closer to shake this guys hand and recognized his voice first...was able to pull off the transition to recognition without being too obvious....I think...and got the photos. Humble, down to earth, genuine, and a love of life and his fans. I cried with the State of Wyoming on March 5th, '05.

This is a great song, the chorus sounds really cool and country! Chris LeDoux seems like he was a cool guy. Also, I like this version of the song better than the album version! Though this live version is also better cause you see everybody performing.
Chuck Pyle was a song writing genius. And yes, the original title of this song is "Other Side Of The Hill". I will say, this is a really good version. Chuck always performed it a little too mellow for my taste.
