Good review guys. Nike messed up comparing it to one of their most beloved shoes. I think they should have called this just the Pegasus Nature and they would have been better off.
Maybe am a bit like Nick on this one and have kept on wearing it and now up to 84 miles. That includes a 16 miler and two others over 10 miles and a session both on road and light trails. Agree it does feel better going a bit faster but that was largely the point of the Turbo. It is heavier than the original true (although by very little over the first one) yet still somewhat lighter than all my other Nike non race shoes and way more so than the Zoom Fly 5. Probably my one issue is that I feel the road through the toes a bit more than ideal especially for easier runs but that was similar in the original versions. You could thus say it has some "ground feel". The other shoes mentioned might be better in some ways but this one does bring the biggest smile to my face wearing it. It looks like a lifestyle shoe but for sure you can run in it and for lots of different things so I think it definitely has a Turbo vibe and of course it is the same basic silhouette. I did also wear a moderately used Turbo 2 again the other day for comparison and maybe wasn't as "great" as I recall. Also when I checked the review ratings for the Turbo on the vendor website, they were relatively rather poor and coupled with the foam separation issue I suspect it was discontinued as it wasn't actually as generally popular as some TH-camrs suggest.
On that last part I think you’re on to something. The Turbo2 came out in Summer? 2019. There were plenty of them available in Fall 2020. That’s when I got mine
Agree with you for the most part but me and my running group never have any issue with the foam separation on the original turbo . The original with zoom fly 1 were the best one-two punch , those were the days. Happy running Tim.
Just bought these but have trouble getting them on because the tongue doesn't have enough room even with the laces loosened all the way to get my foot in comfortably. After I fight them on it is super comfortable.
I have these shoes and I will say it feels like a nice daily trainer, but there is almost no comparison to my speed 3. Hopefully Nike makes a non-nature version that’s lighter and it will probably regain its glory. Though I doubt Nike wants a Pegasus to compete with their higher tier shoes
I was considering sizing down since they do seem a-little long for me. I could only get away with it with a slim sock if I were to. Would you say the eventually there’s any give in the upper loosen up and stretch out even a-little?
Nike dropped the ball on the Turbo NN. The whole point of the Turbo shoe was the combination React/ZOOM X (100%) foam. What do they do here? They use 50% recycled ZOOM X. Did they think "shoe nerds" would go for that??? Then they use some God awful looking "wood grain" pattern on the upper. VOMIT. Might as well try to find the last gen Turbo.... Wanna try a Zoom X shoe? Get the Streakfly. Use it as one of your training dhoes in your "rotation". Then race with a Vaporfly or Slphafly....
This is what I did exactly. I bought the Streakfly for $95 on the Nike website and am running it to the ground. I plan to get the Alphafly 3 later this year.
I think that Adidas have mote durable and versatile shoes for trainning and faster and better shoes for racing than nike at this moment and Saucony have great shoes to wtih some problema in durability but great fitting and great cushioning in all models.
Forget the Endorpin Speed lol. This doesn't even compare positively to the Pegasus 39, let alone the Velocity Nitro 2, Mach 5, Rebel 3, or Gorun Ride 10. And that's ignoring the fact that it is more expensive than those too. But yeah I mean it is fine I guess. I just would never reccomend buying it with all the other much better options for less money. It does kinda feel like Nike is using the name of a beloved shoe to get people to buy a very "meh" product.
Three anti-Nike comments on this one video alone? They must have seriously wronged you somehow. As for other brands 'taking the market', I'm sure Nike are doing just fine even if I'm not excited by what they delivered in 2022 and I suspect there are some who actually, shock horror, still enjoy the shoes you've no doubt never run in.

It’s nice everyday Walker looks cool !!
Nick not mentioning Puma deviate nitro 2 in comparison is a world first
I just bought this shoe for 50$ and I love it

You can get it for $60 right now. At they price it’s gotta be a yes right?
1:10 SR-02 is Cushlon?
I have the gel nimbus 24, do you think the Nike pegasus next nature is less soft and more responsive?
I was considering sizing down since they do seem a-little long for me.

Are you guys planning on doing a review of the apple watch 8 for running?
If I get some of these they’ll be for non running wear (they look great) as my rotation has better shoes in all areas.
Be here now 😂
But they look damn good for casual wear.
Nike Pegasus Turbo NN or Puma Deviate Nitro 2?
Puma Deviate 2
This shoe will be going on major discount soon on account of not being a best seller…
It is on discount now in Malaysia for half price lol

well im boycotting nike till they bring back the real turbo, nike are living off past glories
they don't listen to their customers either and don't care about our opinions
I suggest you watch the Nike Commercial BRETMAN ROCK. That's the demographic and audiences Nike cares about.
@@seujorge1989 I'm boycotting their commercials too

$40 now
Why defend Nike? Why defend the Pegasus Turbo ? Is a nad shoe, Nike is having a bad year and ther other brands are taking the market!

Nike bad year
Alphafly 2 clunky and heavy
Streakfly unstable, poor durability and poor fit
Zoom fly 5 clunky, heavy, poor durability
Pegasus 39 poor quality, poor durability
Invencible 2 heavy, same shoe, clunky, expensive, poor quality low durability.
Peg and invincible are industry leading in their categories
I have the peg 39 and just can't kill them (around 500 miles in them). All Pegs were/are durable af. 🤷
@@SuperAloeFresh they aren't leading the industry. but both shoes are solid options.
Have invincible 2 and peg 39 and it’s very good shoes
