Hey there - the first set of ZF 4HP500's you've got in the video, sure they're not Mk 2 models? The Mk 1 models would have been fitted to older buses like MAN SL200's, Volvo B58's, B59's & B10M Mk 1/2 right? (Or are those not Ecomat models?)
It's because the gears are straight cut, which makes them whine 4th gear does not make a sound because the gearbox connects the engine directly to the driveshaft (or so I have heard about 4th gear...)

Hi, just for information, the HP 55X do not exist
it exists, it is special order for a rating between series 50x and series 59x.
I've missed this comment for some reason. The 552 and 554 are Volvo specific ZF orders that are well documented in Volvo Impact service software.
What about ratings and gear ratios? Volvo also had a similar deal with Voith(DIWA 381.4 based on 506 with a different switching pattern).

Sadly Finland doesn't have any Allisons so I don't have access to any.
