Amazing sound! Not just that but it was built in 1996, yet there is hardly any rattling throughout the clip, whoever owns this bus clearly looks after it.

This driver has only 2 positions of his right foot Foot up and foot through the floor with the accelerator You might as well fit a switch for it Saves another gas servo system to the rear
This box also runs without lock-up The engine should still be revving a lot because it's being taken over by the clutch But the clutch is disengaged here, so the engine speed drops immediately to, say, 900 rpm To fly straight up again when this man gives full throttle The ZF gearbox shoots right back up a gear, pulls through to max rpm engine ( 3300 rpm ) and goes to the higher gear It's amazing that you can get 100 km or more with a 4-speed ZF I think there's also a high-speed differential in it

:D Der Wandler schließt ja gar nicht mehr.. :D Auch nicht schlecht.. hehe.. Immer im geöffneten Wandler herum zu fahren kostet sicherlich einiges an Sprit mehr.. ^^ Schönes Video.. =)

No way This mean machine is running at speed 100..110 km/hour and has engine power of at least 350 bHp I think there is a lot tinkered on this bus Just for fun....To completely pull out an average Audi S6 at the traffic lights and get to 100km/h in say 4 sec would be fun Did you think for a moment you could pull out that sluggish city bus? Nooooo You'll regret that

die Kickdown sind einfach geil, teilweise schaltet er erst bei 35/40 km/h in den 2.Gang ;-)

Der Bus wurde 2014 an Markab in Zgierz abgegeben, dort aber 2020 ausgemustert. Weiterer Verbleib unbekannt.

This is not the way to drive in the city or on the highway. This bus reached at least 90 km / maybe 100 with a 4-speed ZF gearbox with modified differential.
Possibly is this bus of a private person who made a ride with it to test it or just for fun

I think it's not a gear slip but rather just changing from converter to mechanical gears, only occurs from 1st to 2nd gear

This is not a normal mode for this gearbox I think...
Ruppercik This happens if you use the 1-2-3 buttons insted of the normal D-N-R buttons.
The automatic clutch is slipping. That's why the engine is overreving at all gears. (Probably last days of the clutch)

du bei 1.000.000 Kilometer... da verschleißt schonmal die Mechanik etwas man kann den natürlich wieder reparieren nur Kosten und dann fährt man ihn halt lieber noch bis er abgeschrieben wird.... oder was in dem Fall hier passieren kann, bis das Getriebe dadurch zerstört und er verschrottet wird.
Man muss ihn ja auch nicht immer im Kickdown fahren. Das schont vielleicht auch noch mal.
Boah das arme Getriebe . das quält sich ja nur noch so durch die Gänge und beim Schalten scheint es wohl starke Schläge zu geben .
der arme will einfach nicht mehr schalten... ja bei uns soll einer wegen diesem Problem ausgemustert werden weil man jetzt von hand vom 2 Gang in 3 Gang schalten muss vorne am Pult....

Unglaublich, wie kann man ein Getriebe und dessen Motor nur absichtlich so quälen. Das tut ja richtig weh. Kein Wunder, dass viele Busse deswegen auf dem Schrott gelandet sind. 😣
